it's a cruel world...

i have been in a shitty mood for most of today. if anyone saw what happened in the Yankees game last night, you'll understand why.

after waiting nearly 3 hours to play the game, the New York Yankees game against the White Sox finally started last night. i was very interested to see Dustin Fowler play in his first major league game. so, in the bottom of the first, he goes to make a catch in fowl territory and since this is turning into the season of hell, Fowler missed the ball and ran full steam into the low wall in right field. he ended up rupturing his patella tendon. the shitty thing was he was to lead off the top of the second inning. the Yankees lost last night 4-3 in a game that ended around 2:30 in the morning. they play tonight in Houston. god willing, no one will get injured.

Big Brother was interesting last night. it got even more interesting when the live feeds started. showmances, a self eviction, all kinds of talk about some crazy shit, etc., etc.

Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be VICE, NJPW and Real Time with Bill Maher.

it's been sort of dreary around here all day. i know we're supposed to have storms on and off all weekend. just how i wanted to spend a holiday weekend.

i have no damn clue when i'll be on here tomorrow. most likely it will be in the morning, but who knows.

i hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. if you are traveling, be safe. if you are shooting off fireworks, be reckless.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

and the young shall lead them...

the New York Yankees finally got a game last night where the pitching was decent and the offense was producing. yet another home run from Aaron Judge and an incredible major league debut from Miguel Andujar (3 hits 4 RBIs, first Yankee EVER to do that), the Yankees won last night 12-3. hopefully they can win the series tonight before they make the trip down to Houston and probably have their asses handed to them.

that win allowed Mr. Jack Daniels and i to get reacquainted.

Big Brother 19 started up last night. i love the new look of the house and i did enjoy the old guy being a dick and taking the money right away. that allowed Paul from last season to come back into the game. at the very least, that should make for entertaining, mindless television to watch this summer.

both episodes of Lip Sync Battle were pretty fucking good last night. now if i can just get Ashley Graham to sit on my face before i die...

Lucha Underground was great last night.

NXT was really fucking good last night. the last woman standing match between Asuka and Nikki Cross was so damn good i'm planning on watching it again tonight.

enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and Big Brother.

i did listen to the latest Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast today. you can find that by going here:

i also got the new Public Enemy album they are giving away for FREE until July 4th. i highly urge you to get this while you can. go here to download it for FREE:

Germany scored early and often to beat Mexico today 4-1 in Confederations Cup action. that sets up a final of Germany vs. Chile on Sunday. that should be interesting to say the least.

i also caught the penalty shootout last night between FC Cincinnati and Chicago Fire. if the MLS doesn't give Cincinnati a franchise soon, they are nuts.

hard to believe the month of June is almost over. i guess what they say about the backside of the circle is correct... it's always faster counting down to zero.

that's all for me today kids. i have dinner to go make and another appointment with alcohol.

i could use a big glass of something strong...

let's get the poetry news out of the way first. i heard back from Easy Street on my poetry submission from last month. they decided to pass on what i sent. i went through my unpublished stack today and figured out where the next 35 poems are going to. i won't be sending those out until July though. i want to let this bad mojo that's on me right now pass.

i listened to the latest Jim Norton & Sam Roberts podcast late yesterday. if you'd like to laugh your ass off, you can find it by going here:
https://soundcloud.com/jimandsamshow/ep-032-marc-maron-alison-brie-and-tom-papa

my mother did really well yesterday in her first day of outpatient physical therapy. of course, she wasn't expecting to see the neighbors from two doors down there as well. when we got back home, i had to do the trash here and next door. much to my surprise, mom wanted to surprise everyone next door by going in. so once i got the trash done i went in as well. i have no fucking clue why mom sat there as long as she did. apparently she couldn't tell how much fun i was having sitting across from the cousin that molested me as a child.

the New York Yankees were losing for most of yesterday's game against the White Sox. then, they took a 3-1 lead in the 8th inning. i started dreaming of what i wanted to drink. then the Yankees bullpen, which has been a fucking dumpster fire for the last month or so, pissed it all away as the White Sox won 4-3 in the bottom of the 9th. the injuries are piling up for the Yankees, so it's basically up to the kids now. oh joy. hopefully they get a win tonight. i won't be holding my breath.

i thought Smackdown was pretty good last night. i was happy they had Carmella win the women's ladder match again. 205 Live was excellent last night. Tozawa vs. Neville could be amazing in 2 weeks.

Deadliest Catch was pretty good last night.

The Jim Jefferies Show was fucking hilarious last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Big Brother, Lucha Underground and Lip Sync Battle. i will watch NXT sometime tonight on WWE Network.

the grocery store this afternoon was like an invasion of the elderly. between them and children wandering around because they are out of school, it was a worst case scenario for me. thankfully, i found everything on the list and kept it under $100. of course, i spent almost half of that amount in the liquor store buying some gin and some Jack Daniels.

i thankfully missed all of the Confederations Cup game today between Chile and Portugal. i saw that Chile won in penalty kicks. how the fuck did Portugal go through another fucking shootout with CR7 getting no chance to kick? i am going to try to watch some of Mexico vs. Germany tomorrow.

mom had me go back with her at physical therapy yesterday, so i only wrote 2 poems while i was there. i typed them both up last night and really liked them. both of them were included in the 35 poems today.

that's all for me today kids. i need to go ice my back down and take a fucking nap.

so i wake up right as we get ready to kiss

my dreams anymore are simply my subconscious simply fucking with me. i'm getting ready to kiss the woman i saw in the grocery store last week and suddenly i'm awake and have to piss. and people wonder why i want to start using drugs again...

the New York Yankees tried their best to piss away last night's game against the White Sox, but thankfully they held on to win 6-5. hopefully they can make it two in a row tonight.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good again last night. i certainly love the push they are giving Samoa Joe. and the women's gauntlet match to end the show was very good.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Smackdown, Deadliest Catch and The Jim Jefferies Show. i'll watch 205 Live on WWE Network sometime tonight.

mom has her first outpatient physical therapy session today. this one is supposed to be a long one since she has questions to answer, paperwork to fill out, etc. i'm planning on bringing along a pen and a little notebook. i usually can bust out 10 or so short poems if everything works out well. i'm going to try to make sure i'm facing a window, just in case.

depending on my laziness, i do have to do the trash here at some point today. i'm guessing there will be plenty of trash next door given that my aunt is now back home with in home care 24/7. i figure i will probably do it all after we get back home. of course, mom was saying something about stopping at the grocery store to pick up some prescriptions, so god knows when we'll actually get back home.

i was up early this morning writing checks. hopefully, i'm up early tomorrow morning deciding where my next round of poetry submissions are going to go. if i do write some good poems later today, i'm guessing that my next submissions are going to be a large one. somewhere around the 20 to 30 poems range.

i need to get going. i have a gnarly ass goatee to clean up and a morning paper to read. i hope this finds everyone generally well or fucking drunk.

a new week with old problems...

first off, let's get the poetry news out of the way. i heard back from Nerve Cowboy on my poetry submission from back in February. they decided to pass on the poems. at least they did apologize for the delay in their response.

i also wrote 3 more poems last night. i got on a wild brainstorm last night while watching Twin Peaks. more on that later. i typed up the poems this morning and really, really liked them. i'm shooting for sending out another round of submissions in the next couple of days.

Old Timer's Day yesterday was a good dose of nostalgia. and sadly, it was more entertaining than most of the Yankees game yesterday. Texas got up 7-0 before the Yankees did anything. they ended up losing 7-6. oh well. thankfully, the division sucks this year and the Yankees, losers of their last 10 out of 12, are still tied for first place. they start a series tonight in Chicago against the White Sox.

the Confederations Cup went pretty much how i thought it would yesterday. Germany defeated Cameroon 3-1 and Chile did just enough to advance in a 1-1 draw with Australia. that sets up the semifinals of Portugal vs. Chile and Germany vs. Mexico. that should be a nice preview of potential World Cup matches next year.

the season finale of Veep last night was hilarious.

the season finale of Silicon Valley was really good.

Last Week Tonight was excellent as always.

it figured that Nine Inch Nails would perform on one of the most surreal episodes of Twin Peaks EVER. thank god i could pause the television. the brainstorm on top of the mindfuck was coming at me a thousand miles per hour. i needed the break just to compose thoughts to be able to write them down for a poem.

I'm Dying Up Here was pretty funny last night.

Power was excellent last night. i can't wait to see where this season goes.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

i might check out the NBA Awards tonight for shits and giggles.

i will be on here early tomorrow as mom's physical therapy appointment got moved to tomorrow afternoon.

a cool breeze in June...

yesterday was as close to perfect with the weather as any reasonable human around here could expect. sunshine, a light breeze, barely any humidity and 72 degrees. it's fucking rare to be able to turn the air conditioner off and open the windows in June around here.

i ended up writing 7 poems yesterday. i typed them up in the afternoon and really, really like a few of them. if i get a chance, i might do another round of submissions before the month is up.

the New York Yankees lost yesterday 8-1. the only highlight was the solo home run from Aaron Judge. at least the game was boring enough that i could take a damn nap. today is Old Timer's Day at the stadium. that will probably be more entertaining than the game.

ROH was excellent last night.

i got some great FREE music on NoiseTrade last night. here is the link:
Banditos - Visionland, Etc.

i did see a bit of the Confederations Cup yesterday. Portugal beat New Zealand 4-0 and Mexico came from behind yet again and defeated Russia 2-1. Portugal won group A and will face the second place team in group B in the semifinals. Mexico will play the winner of group B. the matches today are Chile vs. Australia and Germany vs. Cameroon. i'll be absolutely shocked if Chile and Germany don't move on.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Silicon Valley, Veep, Last Week Tonight, Power, Twin Peaks: The Return and I'm Dying Up Here.

i'm was pleased with a few of the players the New York Rangers took yesterday in the NHL draft. hopefully they actually turn into useful players for the team in a few years.

i got a wild hair up my ass this morning and actually made breakfast and coffee for mom this morning. she was a little surprised. of course, i will probably have to do the dishes twice today. that's what i get for making meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans for dinner last night.

i hope everyone had a wonderful Saturday. hopefully your Sunday will be even better.

waking up to the sunshine

well, not literally as it was still fucking dark when i woke up. but, at least the sun is out now and it's not fucking raining. maybe i'll actually have a day without much pain. i know, i'm laughing as well.

the New York Yankees got some great pitching (FINALLY) from Tanaka and won the game last night in 10 innings, 2-1. that's a game they desperately needed to win. Gardner hit a big home run to send the game into extra innings. hopefully they can actually win 2 games in a row this afternoon.

the 2 episodes of NJPW were excellent last night. i can't wait to see next week's episode.

Real Time with Bill Maher was great last night.

i wasn't exactly thrilled with what the New York Rangers did last night in the first round of the NHL draft. i thought they reached for both picks. but, it at least sounds like they have a fucking plan, so i'm going to be patient enough to let it play out before i bitch and complain about it.
they don't have a pick until the 4th round today, so i'll probably just check the computer off and on to see who they take.

VICE was very good last night. i did have a good laugh when the Israeli cyber security person was shocked that one of the producers knew of one of Israel's secret military cyber organizations. and the part about Japan building up their weapons again was very interesting. i'm sure most people didn't remember that if Japan goes to war, the USA has to go with it.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be ROH.

the Confederations Cup matches today should be rather interesting. Portugal vs. New Zealand and Mexico vs. Russia.

i know i have to go to the drugstore to return an item and find 3 other things for mom today. i'll probably squeeze that in between the NHL draft, soccer, the dishes, more laundry and making meatloaf.

i hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday. call if you need bail money.

4 inches of rain and counting...

i have been in pain all day long. the rain started this morning and hasn't stopped. the field behind our house is starting to have spots where the water is standing. i know a couple of hours ago we were at 4 inches so far. i have no clue when the rain is going to stop.

since the rain was so bad it knocked out the satellite feed this morning for a few minutes, i decided to start writing. i wrote one poem last night and ended up writing 4 more this morning. i typed up all 5 this afternoon. i think a couple of them are really fucking good.

the New York Yankees pissed away a 5-1 lead last night to lose 10-5. fuck me. they start a series tonight at home against Texas.

Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.

i absolutely loved what the Sacramento Kings did last night in the NBA draft. and i haven't been able to say that for years. to come out of the draft with 4 solid players that really can add so damn much to the franchise was well beyond my wildest dreams.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be VICE, NJPW and Real Time with Bill Maher.

i wasn't planning on paying much attention to the NHL draft tonight and then the New York Rangers traded their backup goalie and their top center to Arizona for a defenseman and the #7 pick in the first round tonight. so, i guess i will be paying attention to the first round for sure. the Rangers have 2 picks in the first round and i get the feeling they aren't done wheeling and dealing just yet.

i'm trying to write this while doing mom's laundry. nothing quite like trying to figure out what to type while folding underwear.

i have no clue when i'll be on here tomorrow. i know i have some shit to return that mom doesn't want now. i was going to do that today but decided not to once the fucking monsoon hit. and since the Confederations Cup games start at 11 in the morning here, i suppose i will try to be on here in the morning, maybe right after the morning shit.

now there's a visual to leave you on.

i hope everyone has a great Friday night. hopefully it's not raining wherever you are.

imagine a beautiful woman looking away in disgust...

i saw two absolutely stunning women in the grocery store today. both looked at me and turned away in disgust. suddenly, i remember exactly what high school felt like. good times.

mom had both physical and occupational therapists out here today. she did really good. so, in a week, it will be onto outpatient physical therapy. i guess i'll be writing more poems in waiting rooms again.

the New York Yankees finally won last night, 8-4. thank fucking god. hopefully they win again tonight.

NXT was really good last night.

Lucha Underground was great once again last night.

Lip Sync Battle was pretty fucking funny last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight.

i will spend most of the night watching the NBA draft.

i wasn't really surprised with the selections for the NHL expansion draft last night. i think Las Vegas will have a pretty good team. it's obvious they want to build from the draft.

i did listen to the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast this morning. i loved the interview with Alexa Bliss. you can find the podcast by going here:

i guess we're going to get a ton of rain over the next few days. fucking great.

if i can tell rain coming from a couple hundred miles away because of my arthritis at age 41, what the fuck is it going to be like when i'm in my 50's or god forbid, my 60's?

i did see a little of the 1-1 draw between Cameroon and Australia today. i watched the first half of Germany and Chile before i went to the grocery store. i saw the game ended with the same score as when i left, 1-1. the Confederations Cup group play will end this weekend. i don't think any team has qualified for the semifinals yet, so it should be interesting.

that's all for me today kids. i need to go make dinner and ponder if heroin will take away my arthritis.

spicy food in the afternoon and other ramblings of a...

congrats to my sister for buying the house she wanted. here's hoping your condo sells for more than you dream of and the move in goes great. she's moving across the street from friends she has known since college, so i know their kids will be thrilled.

mom's doctor's appointment went pretty good today. the surgeon basically told her no to the injections in her back. that made me happy, as from what mom is saying (at least today), the injections won't do her much good. she starts her physical therapy outside of the home next week. tomorrow, physical and occupational therapy will be out here to basically clear her to do the therapy outside of the home. i did have a talk with mom today about making sure she's clear with what she is telling the doctors. i put it sort of plain and simple. be as simple and as accurate as you can be or i will do it for you. and since she was tired as hell today (what, you can't do 2 different doctor's appointments in a day less than a month after having your hip replaced at 64), she was basically telling the doctor's the opposite of what she was telling her back doctor yesterday. looks like i will get to wear my asshole hat soon.

quick update on the cleaning ladies fiasco... my cousin was over yesterday to do the yard and re-pot a plant for mom. mom asked her to look under my bed for that Batman night light. sure enough, in the middle of the floor underneath the bed, there it was. i'm not sure why neither of the ladies wouldn't just tell me it got knocked off the desk and rolled under the bed. mom fired them since she thought, as did i, that it was stolen. i have no clue if she's going to have them back now or not.

the New York Yankees lost again last night, 8-3. that's 7 fucking losses in a row. that's their longest losing streak in a decade. joy. hopefully it will be broken tonight.

Smackdown was really good last night. it was great that Daniel Bryan was back. you could tell the whole show had a different vibe.

205 Live was excellent last night as well.

Deadliest Catch was good last night.

The Jim Jefferies Show was fucking hilarious last night.

i caught the second half of Portugal's win over Russia today and the last 20 minutes or so of Mexico's win over New Zealand in the Confederations Cup.

i'm going to be interested to see who the Las Vegas NHL team takes tonight in the expansion draft. i figure the New York Rangers will lose Oscar Lindberg. that's exactly who i would be taking if i was their GM. hard to believe the NHL draft is just a couple days away.

even harder to believe the NBA draft is tomorrow. i can't wait to see how the Sacramento Kings fuck it up this year.

that's all for me kids. mom and i had a pretty big lunch, so i think dinner is going to be just enough food to take our pills and that's it. and since i got the dishes done this morning, i'm off to go take a damn shower and ice my back down for the night.

at least the humidity went down...

i feel bad for my mother. her first doctor's appointment went pretty good as she learned her insurance would cover another round of shots for her back. then, her next appointment was with the eye doctor. she now has cataracts in both eyes. she mentioned something about the steroid injections she gets for her back to the doctor and he then said well, now you know why your cataracts are so bad. so, as we were driving away, i told mom she has to really attack her physical therapy for her hip when she's getting the injections for her back so she won't need those injections again. she's hoping to put off the surgery for her cataracts until after she gets all 3 rounds of shots for her back. i swear, if it's not one thing, it's another. and now we get to see the surgeon that did her hip tomorrow. joy.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night. i thought the show had a pretty good flow for all 3 hours. i truly enjoyed Braun Strowman coming back to destroy Roman Reigns, after Samoa Joe destroyed him as well. plus, Big Cass turning on Enzo was excellent.

more afternoon thunderstorms...

i think i can tell now when it's going to be a really bad storm. the last two thunderstorms that have come through here, five minutes before they hit, my right shoulder started to hurt. so, chalk another one up for arthritis. thankfully i got the mail before the rain came. i could tell right away when i walked out of the house, we were going to get nailed. clouds as dark as night at 2 in the afternoon are never a good thing.

i got some great FREE music on NoiseTrade this morning. here is the link:
Coastal Club - Coastal Club

the New York Yankees pissed away another lead yesterday and got swept by Oakland 4-3. that also means the lead in the division is gone as well. thank god they are off today and play tomorrow at home. of course, i just found out their top prospect in AAA needs Tommy John surgery. so much for him coming up this season and being their next third baseman. when it rains, it pours.

i picked every match on WWE Money in the Bank correctly last night. i even had the interference correct. i suppose that's not a good thing. i wasn't thrilled with the show until the main event. the match between AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Shinsuke Nakamura, Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin was spectacular. and i'm really happy they gave Baron the briefcase. they can do so much with him now in that position. that is of course if the writers actually have a fucking plan for him. the one thing i have learned over the years with WWE is so much of it is done by the seat of their pants.

Silicon Valley was hilarious last night. the season finale looks like it will be amazing next week.

Veep was great last night. the season finale next week looks great as well.

Last Week Tonight was hilarious as always.

Twin Peaks: The Return was yet another delicious mindfuck.

I'm Dying Up Here was really good last night.

enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

i saw the news about what happened in London last night. i always find it interesting when a white person goes on an attack, he's mentally unstable. when a person of color does it, they are a terrorist. i suppose once that difference gets removed from society, we will finally be a step closer to racial equality. although, i doubt i see it happening in my lifetime.

i did watch Germany beat Australia in the Confederations Cup today, 3-2. finally, i get to enjoy some alcohol tonight.

just imagine my anger

first off, Happy Father's Day to all the good fathers out there. i never knew what that was like, so enjoy it you lucky fuckers.

we've had some storms overnight, so my arthritis has been fucking with me. so, during that pain this morning, i happened to notice that my desk in my room looked different. i knew the cleaning ladies were here yesterday, so that didn't seem too unusual. that was until i noticed one of my Batman items was missing. i had the night light that i hardly ever use sitting out on the corner and it was gone. i searched all over the room, thinking maybe it got knocked over or fell off or something. no such luck. so, i can only assume one of the cleaning ladies stole the damn thing. i can't imagine this weekend being any better for me. theft, my sister burning food and using every fucking dish in the house, thoughts of my father and our shitty relationship, my mother trying her best to get better while dealing with getting older, and here i am, in fucking pain every other second i take a breath. yet another day i will apologize to the 8 year old me. as usual, you were absolutely correct. a ladder, a rope and the tree in the backyard... the only freedom i was ever going to know.

the New York Yankees lost yet again yesterday to Oakland, 5-2. that's 5 damn losses in a row. they will try to avoid the sweep this afternoon.

the T.J. Miller comedy special on HBO last night, Meticulously Ridiculous, was fucking as absurd as i thought it was going to be. some parts had me scratching my head and other parts had me laughing my ass off.

ROH was excellent last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Silicon Valley, Veep, Last Week Tonight, Twin Peaks: The Return and I'm Dying Up Here.

i will be watching WWE Money in the Bank for most of the evening. at least on paper, it should be a very good event.

i have watched most of the Confederations Cup today. the match between Mexico and Portugal was very good. Chile vs. Cameroon is on right now.

i wrote 5 poems last night. given the mood this blog post has been in, you can imagine what the poems were like. i really liked a few of them. i need to write a few more before i think of my next round of submissions.

it looks like it's getting ready to storm here, so that's all for me kids. i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hopefully your Sunday will be even better.

not the start to the weekend i was hoping for...

i just had got done eating a banana. i was sitting at the computer and then i had one of those oh shit moments. my stomach started rumbling and then it was a mad dash. this is exactly how i wanted to start a Saturday where it's supposed to be 94 degrees and humid as fuck. god ripping his fist through my asshole to the point where i'm sitting on the toilet wondering if i'll ever get to come off the cross. and when the first wipe is more blood than shit, you can just imagine how the rest of my damn day is going to be.

i slept like shit last night. i woke up at 5 in the morning and had a poem right on the tip of my tongue. but i never could work out an ending, so i just said fuck it and tried to get some more sleep. i might have got 5 hours total. my sister, no matter what the circumstance is, gets 7 or more every fucking night. i think one of these mornings when she's here and i'm trying to be quiet while taking my blood sugar in the kitchen... i'm just going to poke myself hard enough that i scream. see if that wakes her up.

this road trip for the New York Yankees has turned into the road trip from hell. they dug themselves out of a hole last night, thanks to Aaron Judge and even took the lead. but, just like the last few days, the bullpen pissed away the lead and the Yankees lost again to a shitty Oakland team 7-6. hopefully they will end this damn losing streak this afternoon.

the 3 episodes of NJPW were excellent last night.

VICE was very interesting last night. i love that Russia thinks climate change is bullshit and is making sure they rape the planet until there is nothing left. no wonder Trump think climate change is a hoax.

Real Time with Bill Maher was very good last night.

on the DVR tonight will be T.J. Miller: Meticulously Ridiculous and ROH.

i will probably watch a little of the Confederations Cup today, but not much of it.

mom is in her paranoid space once again, trying to clean the house before the house cleaners come. if anyone ever wonders why the fuck i'm crazy, right there is exhibit fucking A.

i think my sister is taking care of dinner tonight. sadly, that means nearly every dish and utensil in the house will need to be washed afterwards. joy.

that's all for me kids. i hope everyone has a great Saturday. call if you need bail money.

a hot and humid happy birthday

today my mother turns 64. she looked a little puzzled at the card i gave her. it was a penguin saying all these positive things. she then looked inside and it was blank, except for what i wrote... don't worry, it all will be over soon. HAPPY FUCKING BIRTHDAY i then gave her a Marvin The Martian Hot Wheels car and a deluxe edition of Sgt. Pepper's by the Beatles. i figured with her turning 64, that gift just made too much sense. she liked them both.

the frames i ordered from Hobby Lobby came today. thankfully, nothing was damaged like the horror stories i read on their website.

the New York Yankees are now inventing ways to lose games. they scored in every inning from the 6th on last night, and still managed to fucking lose 8-7 in 10 innings. and now the injuries are piling up. Adam Warren, Gary Sanchez and Aaron Hicks. just fucking great. hopefully they stop the damn losing streak tonight in Oakland.

Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.

The Putin Interviews, Part 4 were pretty damn comical last night. i did howl when Putin more or less said Trump is stupid and will have to learn while on the job. and i love when he suddenly starts talking perfect english when he's talking to a woman.

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be VICE, NJPW and Real Time with Bill Maher.

i went to the grocery store earlier this afternoon. it was probably too damn hot but, fuck it. as soon as i walked in, this unbelievably attractive woman walked past me and smiled. of course, i was headed to the pharmacy and she was going the opposite direction. i was really hoping to run into her while going around the store. of course, that never happened. i figure there's another poem. i got mom a small birthday cake and some other things she wanted. and amazingly, i got her the right pads this time. i made sure she wrote down as much info as i needed on the grocery list so i would get the ones she wanted this time. see women, a man that can follow directions. how you doin'?

i guess my sister is bringing pizza for dinner tonight. oh goody, pizza and cake. and only two toilets in the house. at least we know the code to get in next door. that might come in handy at some point.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. i will try to be on here tomorrow before the cleaning ladies are here.
