it never fucking fails...

let me sum up the last 13 years of my life, especially when it comes to matters with the opposite sex. i will meet someone, normally online, that takes an interest in me. we'll chat and get to know each other. eventually, the talk gets dirty and some sex (real or imaginative) happens. usually within 24 hours of that happening, the issue of money will be the next conversation. sometimes it's i'm stuck in a foreign country and need money to come back home. or it's i'm taking care of a sick relative that needs surgery or my favorite one... i'm in nursing school and just need the money to help me pay for books. most of these women end up being in Africa or sometimes Europe. now, keep in mind that very early on in the getting to know you phase, i mention that i'm a poet and i am poor. for some fucking reason, that part never gets through. so, now we come to yesterday. i have been talking to this woman online that told me she lived right down the street from me but is over in Germany taking care of sick grandparents. she's supposed to be coming home in a few days and we had talked about meeting up. of course, there was some dirty talk involved. she sent me a picture of her tits and i naturally checked google to see if they were on the internet already. they weren't, which made me think, holy shit, i might have an actual connection with someone. i had a little writing session today and i wrote 6 poems, mostly ones involving this woman in one way or another. so, when i got online this afternoon, the first message from her was she lost her credit card and now needs money to come home. you have got to be shitting me. at this point, i may never talk to another person online ever again. there is a part of me that hopes one day this amazing looking woman shows up at my door and says hello, do you remember... but the old fuck in me that hates the world is currently taking hope out and beating the shit out of it. so, if anyone ever wants to know why i'm single, there you have it. and i have friends that want me to try online dating. why do so many fucking people hate me?

i was not surprised that Golden State won last night. OKC choked once again. so, it now sets up Cleveland vs. Golden State for the second year in a row. well, if LeBron is going to end the Cleveland drought, he's going to have to earn it.

i didn't watch much of the hockey game last night. the only player on Pittsburgh that i will be happy for if they win the cup will be Carl Hagelin. i will always fondly remember his years with the Rangers. the rest of them could all die and i wouldn't give a shit.

the New York Yankees didn't do much last night, losing 4-2. they didn't score until the 9th inning. they play again tonight up in Toronto.

i did enjoy Monday Night Raw last night, mostly for AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows beating the living shit out of John Cena. it was glorious. after Raw, WWE 24 on WWE Network had a show about Seth Rollins return from his knee injury. it was excellent.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Deadliest Catch and Maya & Marty.

out of the 6 poems i wrote today, i think a couple of them are pretty good. i want to stay more productive than i normally am in the summer with my writing. hopefully, that actually happens.

it's another hot one here today. i actually saw a hummingbird at one of the feeders today. hopefully it enjoyed what i have out for them.

the NCAA Men's College Lacrosse final certainly didn't disappoint yesterday. North Carolina won in OT. they became the first school to ever win the men's and women's in the same year.

i need to go next door and get the recyclables picked up, so that's all for me today kids.

i hope everyone had a great holiday. if not, i certainly understand.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

happy memorial day...

first off, a happy memorial day to everyone that has served our country... regardless of my feelings about war or government or other bullshit about this country, i will always honor your service, commitment and ultimate sacrifice for this nation.

it's going to be another hot one day. i think they said it was going to be in the 80's. it's not so much that but the 90% humidity that has me feeling like i'm in hell. plus, my stomach isn't feeling great (i'm guessing a bad salad is the culprit) and i know if i go outside i will shit all over myself. enjoy that visual.

the New York Yankees only got 1 hit yesterday. thankfully, it was a 2 run home run to help win the game in Tampa 2-1. that was the first time they have won a game with 1 hit since 1914. they start a series tonight in Toronto.

the Sunday night shows were good last night. House of Lies was hilarious. Silicon Valley was very funny. Veep was excellent, mostly for using the word cunt countless number of times last night. and finally, Penny Dreadful was simply fucking amazing. the ending was a tension filled holy shit moment that was great. i simply love this show.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

nothing on the DVR tonight. i will be watching Monday Night Raw and some stuff on WWE Network afterwards. John Cena comes back tonight, so i'm getting my voice ready to boo the shit out of him.

if i do have a Memorial Day tradition, it's watching the NCAA Men's College Lacrosse finals. that happens this afternoon.

i believe the Stanley Cup Final starts tonight and there is Game 7 between Golden State and OKC tonight as well. i will probably be in and out of those games most of the night.

i listened to the latest Sam and Cathy podcast this morning. a very interesting one that i highly recommend.
you can find it by going here: http://notsam.com/srshow/2016/5/30/sam-cathy-013-imacro

i did see where Marcus Rashford signed a new deal with Manchester United today. that made me extremely happy. hopefully Mourinho plays him and he continues to score at will.

i hope everyone that is observing Memorial Day today has a good one. for those of you outside of the USA, i hope you enjoy your Monday.

response from Napalm and Novocain

i heard back from A.J. at Napalm and Novocain on my poetry submission from back in March. my poems "certain scars", "the bitter pills of life" and "smothered with what could have been" have been accepted for publication. they are scheduled to appear on the site on June 3rd.

response from Pyrokinection

i heard back from A.J. at Pyrokinection on my poetry submission from back in March. my poems "much like the weather", "in the basement of his mother's home" and "the day it all changes" have been accepted for publication. they are scheduled to be published on the site on June 5th.

i guess sometimes you can drink yourself into a coma

i believe i only had one drink last night. it was a little strong, probably a little more spiced rum than usual, but nothing out of the ordinary. the thing is, after listening to a podcast last night and checking emails, i don't really remember what happened. all i know is i woke up this morning roughly 8 hours later. i guess i got the good shit yesterday.

the Champions League final yesterday was high drama. Real Madrid scored in the first half, even though the goal shouldn't have counted. (Ramos was offside). When Atletico missed the penalty kick in the 47th minute, i figured that they had blown their chance. thankfully for them, they tied the game at 1 later on. the game went to extra time and with everyone cramping up, you could tell the game was going to penalty kicks. no one missed until Juanfran of Atletico hit the post in the 4th round. that set up CR7 to win it for Real Madrid. i believe everyone around the world knew it was going to end up with him without a shirt and Real Madrid winning their 11th title. sure enough. hopefully, in 2 seasons, i'll get to watch Manchester United raise that trophy again.

the New York Yankees got some awful pitching yesterday, which put them in a big enough hole that i never bothered watching much of the game. they lost 9-5. hopefully they can salvage the series by winning this afternoon.

i did watch most of Golden State's unbelievable comeback to force a game 7 against Oklahoma City last night. watching Klay Thompson shoot last night was like recalling dreams i had as a child of making every shot i took when i was dreaming that i was Larry Bird. it was truly fucking amazing.

American Masters was excellent last night. i could listen to music from The Highwaymen all day long and never get bored.

ROH was excellent as well. long live The Bullet Club.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be House of Lies, Silicon Valley, Veep and Penny Dreadful.

i imagine i will spend most of the day watching auto racing. the Indianapolis 500 and Coca-Cola 600 are both today.

i did listen to the latest episode of Sam Roberts' Show podcast. if you want to laugh your ass off, give it a listen.
you can find it by going here: http://notsam.com/srshow/2016/5/27/srshow-krystyna-hutchinson-dj-whookid

team USA crushed Bolivia last night 4-0. i believe that was the first time the boys had EVER beaten Bolivia. it was also the largest margin of victory for the USA against a South American team. needless to say, i was pleasantly surprised.
with that goal, Christian Pulisic became the youngest American to ever score for the national team. the dude is only 17 years old and honestly, he's the most talented player on the team. play him Jurgen. and play the guy that passed him the ball, Darlington Nagbe. he's game changer. i can't believe i'm typing this, but i am confident that they actually have a chance in the Copa America now.

i've been talking to this woman online this morning. she says she lives right down the road from me. i guess in a few days we'll see if life has taken an interesting turn.

that's all for me today kids. i hope you had a great Saturday. hopefully your Sunday is even better.

what else can you do at the grocery store at 9 AM...

buy liquor of course. i decided to reward myself this holiday weekend with some booze. 12 bottles of beer, a bottle of spiced rum and a bottle of Jim Beam. that should make for a good weekend.

this was the first time i've been at a grocery store this early on a Saturday morning in years. mom wanted to beat the heat and the crowds. nearly $300 later, we were walking out. i guess we needed to stock up. of course, a chunk of that was gift cards. all in all, a good trip. i saw a few women that may become poems or a future ex-wife. i'm not quite sure yet.

NJPW was excellent last night.

the episode of VICE last night was so damn good that i think everyone on earth should be forced to watch it. i will NEVER own a cell phone after watching it.

i did watch most of Cleveland whipping Toronto last night. LeBron is going to his 6th straight finals. that hasn't been done in 50 years. simply fucking amazing.

the New York Yankees won last night 4-1. hopefully they start another winning streak this afternoon.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be ROH and American Masters: The Highwaymen.

i'm really looking forward to watching the Champions League final today between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. it should be an interesting one to watch. hopefully CR7 gets a goal or two.

team USA takes on Bolivia tonight in their final friendly before Copa America. if they get a win tonight, i'll think a little more highly of their chances in the Copa America.

i will probably also watch a little of Golden State and OKC tonight. if OKC wins that means Cleveland will have home court advantage for the NBA finals.

when i told mom it was 80 degrees in the house last night, she finally said to turn on the air conditioning. it certainly feels much better now.

i hope everyone has a great Saturday. call if you need bail money.

signing a deal with the Red Devil

so i woke up this morning to this:
i honestly never thought i'd see the day that this would happen. of course, i didn't think Manchester United was going to fall into the Liverpool abyss once Sir Alex left. the one thing i have always respected about Jose Mourinho is his desire to fucking win. while i hope he does it the "Manchester United" way, all i really care about is watching the boys win trophy after trophy. this will certainly be an interesting summer now.

we did end up getting a new printer yesterday. i was shocked that we were in and out of Best Buy in probably 15 minutes. mom knew the printer she wanted and made sure to let the sales person know that it was cheaper online at the Best Buy website. the guy looked it up and said he would match it and boom, we're done. we got a HP Envy 7640. it was pretty simple to set up and so far, so good.

after that we had an early dinner at an actual steakhouse. we don't do that very often. the food was great and probably helped me sleep.

the New York Yankees lost again yesterday, 3-1. they pissed away a great game from CC. so much for the offense clicking. they start another series on the road tonight in that dump down in Tampa.

i see the Stanley Cup Final is set up now. Pittsburgh vs. San Jose. i know who i am rooting for.

WWE Smackdown was excellent last night. i can't wait to see what WWE does with the upcoming brand split.

Lip Sync Battle was hilarious last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be NJPW and VICE.

i sent out 18 poems today. 3 to Dead Snakes and 5 each to Horror Sleaze Trash, Misfit Magazine and The Australian Times. when i hear back from these places i'll pass along the verdicts.

i got some excellent FREE music at NoiseTrade last night. i'll put those links down in the music section.

i will probably end up watching some of Toronto vs. Cleveland tonight. hopefully Cleveland can end the series tonight.

it is rather hot here today. feels like it is in the low 90's. we haven't turned on our air conditioning yet. i'm interested to see how long until mom tells me to turn it on.

i hope everyone has a great holiday weekend. i don't think i really have any plans, so hopefully it's just a nice, relaxing long weekend.

and then the music died...

so it was around 2 in the morning last night that i decided to check my email. i'm trying to get in the habit of checking it before i go to bed each night so i don't wake up to 200 emails. so i got 5 poems rejected from Carcinogenic Poetry (more on that later) and tried to print out the email. i like to keep that shit for my records. what printed out looked nothing like the email. so i replaced the ink. the next effort was even worse. fuck. so i guess the printer is now dead. i decided to wait until this morning to let my mom know, as i'm pretty sure she didn't want to hear that news at 2 AM. and now it looks like her cell phone might be dead, so i guess we'll be going to Best Buy sometime this afternoon. that's why i'm writing this now.

the poems rejected were from a submission back in September of last year. i really like these poems, so i'm going to flip them to another place. so i'll be sending out 18 poems tomorrow. good times.

the New York Yankees winning streak ended last night, losing 8 to 4. well, it was bound to end sometime. they play again this afternoon. a win will give them another series win.

NXT was really good last night. i can't wait until the next Takeover event in 2 weeks.

Lucha Underground was great last night. 2 titles changed hands, so it was a memorable episode.

it feels like it is going to rain today. i've got a headache and all my nerves in my body are firing it seems. oh joy.

i just saw that Sky Sports said it's official between Jose Mourinho and Manchester United. oh boy. let the fun begin. fun as in chaos. as i heard one United fan put it, it will be nice to be hated once again.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be WWE Smackdown and Lip Sync Battle. i'll probably be watching some playoff hockey and basketball as well.

congrats to the San Jose Sharks on making it to the Stanley Cup Final for the first time ever. expect to get screwed if you end up playing the Penguins.

i did see a little of Cleveland destroying Toronto last night. it's amazing how well they can play when Kevin Love actually shows up.

i did watch most of team USA vs. Ecuador last night. the first half was dreadful. the second half was much better. i hope the coach learned the two players he MUST play for the USA to actually be good. Christian Pulisic and Darlington Nagbe. they were the two biggest reasons for the unexpected 1-0 victory. i don't give them much of a chance in the Copa America, but if those two play, at least they will be entertaining and have that, well, you never know chance to win. of course, Jurgen will probably stay stubborn and not play them.

that's all for me today. i'm going to go shave and take a shower. enjoy the visual.

dark skies and only drizzle

it drizzled just enough to steam everything up today. at times i have felt good and at times my arthritis had me at the point of tears. good times.

The Voice season finale last night was really good. the performances were about as good as anyone could expect.
the behind the scenes shit was really funny...
and ultimately, while it wasn't whom i would have picked for the winner, i can't complain...

Deadliest Catch showed just how fucking strong Mother Nature really is last night. there's no way i would be out in that shit in the winter.

The Price Is Right: Big Brother was about as stupid as i thought it would be. it made for good background noise while checking emails last night.

the New York Yankees got some dominant pitching last night (only gave up 2 hits) and a steady offense to defeat Toronto 6-0. that's 6 wins in a row. i might have to hit the grocery store for more victory beers. hopefully they make it a lucky 7 in a row tonight. that would put them over .500 on the season.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Lucha Underground. i'll watch NXT and some other shit sometime tonight on WWE Network.

team USA has a soccer friendly against Ecuador tonight. i'm interested to see how they play against some much better competition.

i didn't watch much of the hockey game last night, although i did enjoy this goal from former New York Ranger Brian Boyle...

i'm really shocked that Golden State is down 3 to 1 now in the Western Conference Finals. i guess we'll see how good they really are now:

i did do a little poetry work today. i've got 13 poems ready to go out on Friday.

i broke out the camera the other day as the flowers coming up around the house are really looking good. here's a few of them:

out and about in the sun

little did i know, today i had to drive my mom around south of town. and today was the first day it actually felt like summer outside. heat, humidity... weather not made for fat people. we got a little bite to eat once we got south of town. now, by south of town, i mean about 45 minutes away from where we live. after lunch, i had to drive her to her financial planner's office. after about 15 minutes there, someone finally came out to get the info mom had brought them. at least the waiting room had air conditioning. after that, mom wanted to look at cars. she uses Consumer Reports like its the bible, so our first stop was at Subaru. we found two models that we both really liked. this made me believe that i might have my own vehicle sometime soon. we got the info mom wanted and left. a few miles away was a Menards. so of course we went. i needed bird food and some more trinkets to put in the yard. i'm really close to making this a sophisticated white trash paradise. $88 later, we headed to the closest Kia dealership. this was a clusterfuck and a half. only 2 salespeople working and about 7 customers there. needless to say, i doubt we are getting one of those. of course, if Consumer Reports says otherwise, who knows. by this time, it was rush hour and i hate people and traffic. i'm the type of asshole that wants you to be as attentive and assertive as i am. if you're not, my first temptation is to run you the fuck off the road. add on top of that, we needed to get gas. i decided that i was going to wait to get gas until we got back to town. that worked fine and we pulled into the garage at 6 pm. we left the house before 1. mom was tired. no shit.

i still have the trash to pick up in the house, and i want to get that done before The Voice comes on tonight.

speaking of The Voice, last night the show was amazing. i am totally blown away by the talent this season. i have no clue who is going to win the show tonight, but i'm really hoping Adam Wakefield does.

Gotham was damn near perfect last night. i can't fucking wait for the next season. it should be amazing.

Monday Night Raw was really good last night. i liked the qualification matches for the next pay per view. especially since that brought about the match between AJ Styles and Kevin Owens. the interview between Mick Foley and Shane McMahon was pretty interesting last night. i did like the behind the scenes stuff about the Montreal Screwjob and WrestleMania 32.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be The Voice, Deadliest Catch and The Price Is Right: Big Brother Edition.

the New York Yankees are playing the Blue Jays as i am typing this. they are winning in the 2nd inning. hopefully they can continue the winning streak.

i believe i know which poem i am going to do for my next SoundCloud recording. my hope is to do that one tomorrow.

happy birthday to my favorite Manchester United player ever, King Eric Cantona.

that's all for me today kids. i hope everyone enjoyed a great day with the weather wherever you are.

2 days in a row without rain, what a shock...

when i walked out to get the mail today, it actually felt like late May. it's almost summer. joy. sunburns and ill fitting clothes. good times.

WWE Extreme Rules was great last night. 2 of the matches, Roman Reigns vs. AJ Styles and the Intercontinental Title match will surely be on the final list for matches of the year. they were both spectacular. plus, last night saw the return of Seth Rollins. when he destroyed Roman Reigns at the end of the show, i was so fucking happy. should make for an interesting Monday Night Raw tonight.

the New York Yankees won yesterday, 5-4, to complete the 4 game sweep of the Oakland A's. that's 5 wins in a row. that also gets them just 1 game under .500. they are off tonight and start a series with Toronto tomorrow night.

team USA defeated Puerto Rico 3-1 in a soccer friendly yesterday. the field was horrible and the USA played down to their competition. they will have to be much better to do anything in the upcoming Copa America.

House of Lies was pretty damn funny last night. made me miss my days of smoking pot. Veep was great. Silicon Valley was very funny. Penny Dreadful was absolutely wonderful last night. the acting in that episode should win awards for everyone. and finally, Last Week Tonight was great as usual.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be part 1 of the season finale of The Voice and the season finale of Gotham. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw and then Mick Foley's interview with Shane McMahon on WWE Network.

i did listen to the latest Sam & Cathy podcast this afternoon. excellent as always.
you can listen to it by going here: http://notsam.com/srshow/2016/5/23/sam-cathy-012-win-or-play-well

so i woke up this morning to the news that Louis van Gaal had been sacked by Manchester United. late this afternoon, the club finally confirmed it. talk about a poorly held secret. i'm not a big fan of the way the Dutch play the sport, so my falling out of love with LVG's tactics was not surprising. i'm not sure what to think yet if Jose Mourinho is truly the best choice to be the next manager. i can't argue with the results, but i don't want to watch a team park the bus every game. of course, win the league, win the Champions League, FA Cup, etc. and i'll simply live with it while rejoicing. thankfully, LVG did win the FA Cup before departing, and seeing that it had been 12 years since Manchester United had won it, he'll always be remembered for bringing it back home. all in all, this should be a very interesting summer. especially when i saw today the rumor that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is going to be the first player Jose signs for the club. holy shit.

my uncle came over for a little bit yesterday. it's good to see him out and about, although he still has a hard time walking. it was the first time he had been over to the house in months. he's in remission and doing better. his goal was to make it to the summer. it'll be interesting to see how far he goes after that.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

trying to enjoy the moment

it's probably a good thing the USA hockey game with Russia isn't on television this morning. i checked out the score and noticed Russia was crushing the USA. well, 4th place isn't horrible when your best players aren't playing.

i slept pretty good last night, although it was for only 4 hours or so. i didn't check my emails before i went to sleep, so i knew as soon as i woke up this morning, i had to play catch up. i think i made 40 cents on surveys this morning. good times.

the New York Yankees won again yesterday 5-1. 4 wins in a row. they go for the series sweep this afternoon.

i did see that Cleveland finally lost last night. of course, anytime your point guard goes something like 3 for 20 from the field, you probably should lose.

the St. Louis Blues finally remembered how to score last night and evened their series with San Jose, 2-2.

i got the Preakness wrong yesterday. as i watching and heard that Nyquist had never run on an off track, i knew he wasn't going to win. i told my mother that Exaggerator will win the race. i almost came back to the blog to change it so i would look like a genius, but i didn't. i already know i am.

i also watched some boxing last night. it reminded me why i don't watch boxing much anymore.

Saturday Night Live was great last night. please find the Farewell Mr. Bunting sketch online and laugh your ass off. it's a Dead Poets Society tribute that has one of the greatest endings i have ever seen on the show. all in all, a great season finale.

ROH was a look back at The Bullet Club. it also showed the moments when Adam Cole joined the group. a very entertaining hour.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Veep, Silicon Valley, House of Lies, Penny Dreadful and Last Week Tonight.

i'll be watching WWE Extreme Rules for most of the evening on WWE Network.

team USA plays a soccer friendly against Puerto Rico this afternoon. i figure i will watch that and then flip over to watch the Spanish Cup final between Barcelona and Sevilla.

other than that and a few naps and maybe going outside to enjoy some sunshine, it looks like my day is pretty much set.

i watched the video of Dayton's head coach yesterday at Steve McElvene's funeral. talk about a good way to get the tears flowing early in the morning. here is a link to it:

thank fucking god for Jesse Lingard

i started off today watching old highlights of Manchester United winning the FA Cup. considering United hasn't won the title in 12 years, i was really pumped up for today. they couldn't have a better ending for this shit season than winning the FA Cup. Crystal Palace had never won the trophy and the only time they made the final they lost to United in 1990. their coach played on that team. so, i knew they and their fans would be pumped up for the game. it was the typical United first half, plenty of possession but nothing to show for it. Palace took the lead in the second half off a little chaos from a corner kick. the cameras cut to Palace's coach doing a little dance. the soccer gods were not pleased. less than 90 seconds later, Juan Mata scored to even the game. a huge credit to Wayne Rooney for creating that goal. United also hit two goal posts in the second half, so as the game got closer to extra time, there certainly was some regret. extra time started and you could clearly see fatigue setting in. with 2 minutes left in the first half of extra time, Chris Smalling made a stupid tackle, picking up his second yellow of the game. i was fucking furious. now, i was hoping for penalty kicks. thankfully, the boys decided they wanted to end it now. Valencia crossed the ball and it deflected right to Jesse Lingard. the one thing i constantly preach to the television, somehow hoping the players hear me is don't think. sports are all instinct and reaction. thank fucking god, Jesse Lingard didn't think. he blasted an unbelievable volley into the net to give 10 man United a 2-1 lead. i'm pretty sure the whole neighborhood heard me when that one went in. the rest of the game was simply defend for your lives. that was exactly what United did.
that's the first trophy since Sir Alex retired. of course, the news also leaked out that LVG will be replaced by Jose Mourinho, who apparently has agreed to a 3 year deal in principle. i'll believe that when i see the "Special One" at Old Trafford wearing red. but for today, i'm going to enjoy Manchester United finally bringing home a trophy for the first time in 3 years.

i always enjoy a cold victory beer listening to Queen. i had a fun time blasting that one.

the New York Yankees found some offense last night and defeated Oakland 8-3. holy shit, three wins in a row. took them over 40 games for that to happen. but, it's officially a winning streak now. they are playing as i am typing this and winning again. hopefully that will continue.

i did watch a good portion of the NHL game last night. it looked like for a second that Tampa Bay was going to piss away a 4 goal lead last night. thankfully, they didn't. their series with the Penguins is now tied 2-2.

i also listened to the latest Sam Roberts' Show podcast last night. i highly recommend checking it out, especially if you are a 90's hip hop fan.

and i highly recommend checking out the documentary Stretch and Bobbito: Radio That Changed Lives. it's currently airing on Showtime. for more info go to: http://stretchandbobbito.com/

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be the season finale of Saturday Night Live and ROH.

i did watch a bit of team USA losing to Canada today at the World Hockey Championships over in Russia. they lost 4-3. they will face Russia tomorrow for the bronze.

it was supposed to rain all day today, but thankfully the front shifted. so now it's just fucking windy.

i'll probably be flipping between horse racing, hockey and basketball tonight.

i'll take Nyquist in the Preakness Stakes today, mostly so there's a chance for another Triple Crown winner.

i'll probably be on here tomorrow morning as Sunday will be busy as fuck with all my shows and sports and a wrestling pay per view as well.

i hope everyone has a great Saturday night. call if you need bail money.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

nothing like a rainy start to the weekend

today was one of those days where mom pissed me off about 30 minutes or so after i woke up. i simply love some passive aggressive bullshit before i've even taken a shit. but, when she accused me of only hearing what i want to hear so i can make fun of her, that truly pissed me off. here i am 40 years old and i'm dealing with high school like drama. of course, she told me this morning that she was up at 3:30 in the morning and has been up since. now it all makes sense. 40 years of having a woman take her shit out on me without any warning, until after i'm supposed to feel like shit. so, as usual, this has me wondering how much guilt she would have if i happen to kill myself. good times. the plan now is whenever or better yet, if, she gets a new car and the one with 200,000 miles on it gets put in my name, sell off as much shit as i can and just leave. sure, i'll end up dead in New Mexico somewhere, but that would be better than the constant pain and the never ending voice in the back of my head, constantly reminding me that my mother never did shit when i told her that i was molested by my cousin. that's always a fun one to pop into your head when you're telling your mother i love you too.

so, there's a little glimpse of my life. be thankful you aren't me.

the New York Yankees won last night, 4-1 out in Oakland. i guess Girardi wasn't shitting, any fucking chance he can use the big 3 in the bullpen, he will. even when your starter has pitched 6 innings on 61 pitches. but, that's two wins in a row. hopefully they can keep it going tonight.

WWE Smackdown was really good last night. the show ended in complete fucking chaos, which should be a could precursor for the pay per view this weekend, Extreme Rules.

Lip Sync Battle was pretty fucking funny last night.

i did watch some of Cleveland vs. Toronto last night. i will be shocked if the Cavs don't make it to the Finals 12-0.

i did watch a little bit of San Jose vs. St. Louis last night. it looks like San Jose has got the hot goalie, which could mean doom for the Blues. San Jose is up 2-1 now.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

nothing on the DVR tonight so i'll probably be flipping between baseball, hockey and whatever the fuck else i can find.

the rain has started, so there's also a good chance i just stay in my room, listen to music and see just how depressed i can get.

amazingly, mom and i did go out to lunch today. that was fucking awkward. she tried to make small talk and i basically just went silent for most of it. i stared out the windows, acting like i was thinking of poems. after that, we went to the grocery store. my lunch was better than i expected, so i was in a better mood at the grocery store. but, the rain was getting closer, so i more or less had pain every step i would take in the store. that's fun. at least i got us back home before the damn rain started.

i will be on here tomorrow after Manchester United plays Crystal Palace in the FA Cup Final. hopefully, i will be drunk and happy to be celebrating a big win for the first time since Sir Alex left the club.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. call if you need bail money or would like to mail me drugs.
