it's easier to just say yes

mom changed her mind last night and decided she didn't want to have me drive her down to her financial planner this afternoon for their meeting. apparently, there's some snow that's supposed to be moving in the area as we would be on the road and she doesn't want to be out in that shit. i figured i would get this blog done now, just in case she changes her mind again.

i was not surprised with the first two chosen to be finalists on The Voice last night. Chloe is the obvious winner so far this season. Addison is the obvious next best. i really had no problem with Brooke being the third choice as she has really come on in the last two weeks. as for the final choice, for me it was between Red and Noah. the obvious choice was Noah, but the country mafia had different thoughts.

as usual, Blake has more than 1 person in the finals. my money is on Chloe to win, but i wouldn't be shocked by any of them winning at this point. and i totally have my money on Noah to have a better career than all of them in the end.

Drop the Mic was pretty funny last night. not sure i'll ever look at Kenny G the same ever again.

Smackdown was pretty good last night. i'm very interested to see where this is going between Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon.

205 Live was pretty good as well last night.

i did watch a little bit of the election results from Alabama last night. amazingly, i do agree with Charles Barkley. last night should be the wake up call to the Democrats to finally stop ignoring blacks and the poor. black women more or less elected Doug Jones last night. and i'm not sure if it was the get out the vote campaign or Roy Moore more or less saying slavery was the best time in America that did it, but the voters of Alabama certainly saved the Republicans from another fucking headache. that being said, i bet that tax cut for the rich gets rammed through Congress as quick as fucking possible now.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, NXT and Total Divas.

the New York Rangers play tonight on the road at Ottawa. i certainly hope they have a better effort than their game against Dallas. and given how horrible Ottawa has been here lately, the Rangers better fucking win.

Manchester United plays this afternoon against Bournemouth. the game isn't on television, so i'll probably just casually follow online. or i might just ignore the game until it is over. recently, my teams seem to play better when i'm not watching. and given how superstitious i am at times...

it is certainly colder today. i believe mom said the windchill was in the single digits this morning. i actually put on some wool socks today. that's a good sign it's finally cold.

i'll be on here sometime tomorrow. i guess i should start thinking about wrapping gifts sometime soon. since we're going to my sister's this year, i don't think my last minute, hurry up and get it done, is going to work. oh well.
