at least i don't have to rake leaves

sitting here in the kitchen, looking out at the trees in the yards behind me. thank god i don't believe in raking leaves. it was great at the farm as you could always count on a day of holy shit winds that would put the leaves and god knows what else into the fields. here in suburbia, i'm not counting on that wind. but i'm also not going to rake the leaves down to the street either. if someone else in this neighborhood of go-getters wants to do it, be my guest. i could probably go about 10 minutes before my back said fuck you and quit. good times.

i sat through a very frustrating Manchester United game this morning. i had no illusion that the game at Crystal Palace was going to be easy. but it is entirely too fucking frustrating watching a team more concerned with possession than actually scoring. i understand that probably every team would love to have the ball 70% of the game. but what fucking good does it do if everyone forgets that you need a good pass into the final third to actually fucking score? yet another game where they dropped points. 0-0 draws don't win you trophies. all they do is help you avoid relegation. United is now 4th in the table, 4 points behind the leaders. not exactly sure where the fuck they are going to make up those points the way they are playing now. fuck me.

last night was much better for me in the world of sports. the Sacramento Kings destroyed the Lakers last night. that certainly made me really fucking happy.

the New York Rangers defeated Toronto 3-1. my favorite troll got his first NHL hat trick.

NJPW was excellent last night. any match involving Shinsuke Nakamura is well worth your time.

The Knick was great last night. it had an ending that certainly caught me off guard. season 2 is turning out to be just as good as the first season was.

Undateable was fucking hilarious last night. i absolutely love the chemistry the cast has during live shows. and i love it more when you can obviously see they are trying to get someone to break. fucking great television.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be ROH, the Saturday Night Live Halloween special and Austin City Limits. i believe this episode will have Gary Clark, Jr. and Courtney Barnett.

i will be spending most of today in the garage helping mom clean some shit out and i believe we're going to try to do something creative with my sports posters. they are mostly local teams that i think we are going to try to wallpaper the garage with. and then the plan is to hang up some crazy shit over that; like a deer head, some photos of my sister from college, glamour shots, etc, etc. i figure i will break out the whiskey and enjoy myself and the fumes.

you would think Halloween would be one of those days i would love. you'd be wrong. it mostly reminds me of not having many friends. plus, they really don't make cool costumes for fat people. this is the first time i have lived in a neighborhood in 18 years. i have no clue how much trick or treat traffic this cul-de-sac gets. i'm not going to find out either, as the lights will be out. hell, we'll still probably be in the garage.

for those of you handing out candy tonight, give out the good shit. no fruit, no kind messages, no tiny candy bars. you give out the real shit and you'd be amazed at how often your house doesn't get fucked with. for those of you going out partying tonight, enjoy it. be safe. scare the shit out of everyone. and enjoy a slutty nurse or two.

Ohio State is on a bye week this week. so naturally, the starting QB got arrested this morning for OVI. he's suspended for next week's game against Minnesota. fucking underage kids.

that's all for me today. i will be on here early tomorrow as there is yet another fucking football game in London tomorrow morning. and of course, i have players on my fantasy team playing in it.

i hope this finds everyone wearing something ridiculous or busy brewing something hideous.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...
