the Cubs only had 4 hits today, 2 of which left the yard. the Yankees had runners on base all day, but never could get the big hit. a couple guys got on in the 9th, which always makes me happy. i always want them to give themselves a chance to win. Brett Gardner got a hanging slider and did what you are supposed to do with it. he crushed a 3 run homer to right that put the Yankees up 3-2. Chapman came on in the bottom of the 9th and got 3 outs to end the game. the Cubs were 152-0 over the last 3 seasons when entering the 9th inning with a lead. they are now 152-1. the Yankees play again tomorrow night. i will certainly enjoy this victory drink...
the New York Rangers dominated Ottawa again last night, winning 4-1 to even the series at 2-2. i know the Rangers are in their heads as Ottawa was running around trying to start fights to send a message for Game 5. that tells me they know they are in deep shit as they know this series should be over. Game 5 is tomorrow afternoon.
Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.
The Big Bang Theory was hilarious last night.
Life in Pieces was pretty fucking funny last night as well.
Lip Sync Battle was pretty good last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be VICE, NJPW and Real Time with Bill Maher.
it is still raining here by the way. it more or less has been raining for almost 3 fucking days now. i drove around a little this afternoon and we're pretty close to having some roads completely impassable. good times.
i will probably be on here tomorrow after i go to the grocery store in the morning. it will hopefully be before the Rangers play in the afternoon. tomorrow is a bit of a clusterfuck with The Kentucky Derby going on.
i hope everyone has a great weekend. i need to go get dinner going.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.
peace and chicken grease...
