before i lose my mind

decided i would bust out a quick one this morning before i get too busy. get your minds out of the gutter. i did that before i went to bed. here are your national poetry month links:

the New York Yankees won game 2 of the doubleheader last night 2-0. if only we could play the Cubs every game. the home stand is now over and they are off to that dump in Tampa. and CC usually pitches like shit there, so i don't know how much i will be watching.

i did catch a good portion of the NHL playoff games last night. always a stressing sign when the first game goes into overtime. it would be cool if i didn't have a dog in the race. the New York Rangers begin their quest for another Stanley Cup in my lifetime tonight against the Flyers. first time they have met in the playoffs since 1997. fuck i feel old. they have to play their backup goalie tonight, so i'm hoping the Rangers take advantage of it. hopefully i will get to watch all of it.

i did catch Legit and Ali G. last night. both were really fucking funny.

my sister made it down last night. i've had my 4 or so hours of sleep. now it's time to feed the cats, then myself, hopefully take a stress free shit and then drive the family to the hospital. they believe mom's surgery will be at least 2 hours. all i want is for it to be done right and hopefully they are no surprises or complications.

i will be sure to update the situation in tomorrow's blog.

that's all for me kids. sorry for interrupting your morning breakfast with my usual drivel. go back to watching porn on your phones now.

peace and chicken grease my enemies...
