and here comes the ice...

another day, another threat of a winter storm. yesterday was a total fucking drain. by midnight i was just about comatose. so much to get to...

mom and i went to a home improvement store to look for some moving stuff; boxes, bubble wrap, etc. plus, she wanted to get some paint chips to get some ideas of what color she wants the foyer at the new house to be. while we were walking around, a guy asked us if we wanted a kid. he pointed to what i guess was his son, saying he was needy. i said no and laughed. i then turned to my mom and said how much you wanna bet that in 15 years that kid is murdering his father.

after that we went to lunch. we were seated close to a large group of people, i'm assuming a family. i have a habit of listening to all conversations while i'm in a public place. if you ever want to know how i come up with 60% of my poetry, you now know. it was a good lunch.

after that, it was to the grocery store. you would think the world was coming to an end. the store was fucking packed. we were in there for 2 fucking hours. we got everything we needed though, although somehow the bread my mom had in the cart never got rung up and didn't make it home with us. i guess the people behind us got it. we got back home and the groceries put away before missing too much of the football games.

both playoff games were good last night. i picked both correctly, which i'm a little shocked at. hopefully the games today are good as well.

the Dayton Flyers came out flat as hell last night. of course, given the traveling problems they had and the obvious tired legs, i gave them the benefit of the doubt. the game was tied at halftime. well, i don't know what they did at halftime, but it worked. Dayton beat the shit out of Fordham in the second half. it was like they couldn't miss. 25-25 at halftime turned into Dayton winning 76-58. here are some highlights from the game:

the New York Rangers finished off their California sweep with a 3-1 win over San Jose last night. they are simply on fucking fire right now. i'm a little amazed that only Rick Nash got selected to the All-Star game. i was hoping for more players since i will be at the game for the first time in my life. oh well. here are the highlights from the game:

i was completely in and out of Ring of Honor last night. i was so fucking tired. i'm going to try to catch some of what i missed later today. of course, that all depends if Manchester United takes care of business early.

Manchester United faces Southampton today. they are finally getting healthy, so i'm a little interested to see what the team looks like today. hopefully, it's a team that has full intentions of getting all three points.

other than the other two NFL playoff games today, all the Sunday night shows start back up. Girls, Togetherness (new show that i hope i like), Shameless, House of Lies, Episodes, and Total Divas. plus, the Golden Globes are on tonight. yet another night where i could use the DVR.

i still owe myself a victory beer from last night. so, i will definitely make use of that today. i have to get out to feed the cats before the weather turns to shit today. plus, i'm going to get the trash picked up but i'm not going to bother putting it out. with another storm coming, it will just end up all over the fucking place. this will become much easier at the new house when it's just a driveway and not a quarter mile lane to drive down.

that's all for me today. i hope everyone had a wonderful Sunday. make sure the girl you picked up last night is still alive and buy her breakfast you cheap fuck. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...
