and here comes hell...

the doomsday local media has done its job well today. i drove past the local store when i was out getting the mail at the post office and the parking lot was packed almost out to the street. we supposedly have 3 to 5 to holy shit inches of snow coming tonight and into tomorrow morning. so, of course everyone had to go out and stock up for the end of days.

i'm not sure i have caught up on my sleep yet, but i'm still kicking. i'm drained beyond belief. that should be the perfect mix for shoveling snow tomorrow.

i did watch Total Divas last night. i think i'm really going to enjoy Paige on the show. you can tell she totally has a 'i don't give a fuck attitude' that i love. she should make this shit enjoyable for me.

i spent most of today just lounging in front of the television. i did get a good laugh when i saw the next round of the FA Cup draw. Manchester United is on the road yet again, against the lowest ranked team left. hopefully they can get the job done easier this time.

tonight is back to my usual Monday night clusterfuck. Gotham comes back on tonight. i'm pumped to watch that again. at the same time is Monday Night Raw and the gold medal game of the 2015 World Juniors between Russia and Canada. the New York Rangers have 3 prospects in that game that will play a major role. so, the plan i have in my head is to watch Gotham and flip between wrestling and hockey during the commercial breaks. just a few more weeks and hopefully i'll be moved and that whole home DVR will be taking care of these problems for me.

it did get pretty damn cold last night. it's supposed to get even colder the next few days. i turned the heat up in the house as mom thinks she's coming down with something. i had a hell of a time changing the water filter in the cellar today. the perfect time for my bad back and arthritis to collude against me. but, i got the fucker changed after 10 minutes of cussing and wondering if i was going to snap a pipe in two. hopefully we don't have any frozen pipes in the next few days.

i saw most of the cats today. the next few days will be interesting for them. if we do get the snow these assholes are saying we will get, this will be the first significant snowfall some of them have ever seen. i'll definitely have to be on the lookout for dead cats in the next few days. i've already had one freeze to death earlier in the season. i'm not doubting there will be a few more that don't make it.

i'm not sure when i'll be on here tomorrow. i figure it depends on the weather and how bad it truly does get. i'm expecting i'll have some shoveling to do. hopefully my back holds up.

my uncle goes in for surgery on his hip tomorrow. mom wanted me to go over and say hello to him. i asked if it was just in case he doesn't make it through the surgery. she said yes and i refused. i told her to tell him i didn't come over to say hi because he's not going to die. he got a good laugh out of that.

that's all for me today. hope everyone had a great weekend, a better Monday and... ah, who gives a shit. hope this finds you alive. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your time.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...
