nothing like 3 hours of sleep

i couldn't fall asleep for anything last night. masturbation didn't help. alcohol didn't help. boring ass infomercials didn't help either. i guess between the hurricane coverage and exhaustion, my body finally tapped out. for a whole 3 fucking hours. fuck me.

the New York Yankees left a small village on base last night (they left the bases loaded 3 different times) and eventually lost to Seattle, 2-1 in 11 innings. so much for the fight bringing them together. hopefully they actually get some hits this afternoon and win. they pissed away a chance to gain ground on Boston last night.

VICE was excellent last night. the situation in Venezuela is fucking horrible.

NJPW was great last night. Kenny Omega is another wrestler i could watch forever and never get bored.

Treehouse Masters was good last night.

Room 104 was great last night. being a writer and sometimes wishing i was adopted, i totally understood the episode.

Whitney: Can I Be Me was pretty damn sad last night. it was pretty obvious that eventually she wasn't doing the drugs, the drugs were doing her. such a talent gone way too fucking soon.

Real Time with Bill Maher was pretty fucking funny last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be ROH and Jackie.

i guess there's some big fight in Las Vegas tonight. i really couldn't give two shits about it.

Manchester United plays Leicester City this afternoon. hopefully they can continue their great start to the season.

i'm not sure if the New Orleans Saints game is going to happen tonight or not. if they do play, they are playing against the Texans.

i am planning on making a trip to Menards today. a few odds and ends for the house and the birds, plus it's the last day of their 11% rebate on everything sale.

i suppose i should try to sneak in a nap before i make that drive.

i hope everyone has a great Saturday. i hope the floods in Texas aren't as bad as feared.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

surviving the pain

first off, to all my friends, fans and enemies in Texas, keep safe and run for the fucking hills. i know what i'll be watching tonight, hurricane coverage.

i love when i get a little shot of pain from my arthritis when i'm in the shower. nothing like almost falling and figuring this is how they will find you when you die. and you just know some jackass will think, that's what he gets for trying to suck his own dick in the shower.

the grocery store today was pretty easy to navigate. i had to get gas and pills as well today. i kept it all under $200, so i'm happy.

the New York Yankees played one of the craziest baseball games i have seen in years yesterday in Detroit. 8 ejections and 3 bench clearing brawls. i suppose the dog days of summer are upon us. both Yankees catchers have appealed their suspensions. hopefully they can wait until after Sept. 1st so the Yankees can call up another catcher without having to make any roster moves. the Yankees lost 10-6 yesterday by the way. Boston lost as well so they didn't lose any ground in the division. they start a series at home tonight against Seattle.

Big Brother went as i expected last night. Mark was evicted and Jason is the new HOH.

Weekend Update was fucking hilarious last night.

The Chris Gethard Show was beautifully absurd once again last night.

i forgot it was on, but i did eventually get to see Fuck, That's Delicious Classics last night. excellent as always.

Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be VICE, NJPW, Treehouse Masters, Real Time with Bill Maher, Room 104 and Whitney: Can I Be Me.

i will probably be on here tomorrow before Manchester United plays.

i've got the Weather Channel on now. this looks like it's going to be a motherfucker of a storm.

i hope everyone has a great weekend, all things considered.

welcome to your life

so there i was, 3 in the morning, typing up poems in emails because my arthritis no longer allows me to use a fucking computer mouse correctly, Drugstore Cowboy on in the background, remembering my 20's, and the mad dashes to the main post office at 3 in the morning on a Sunday night... i get the feeling my death will not be pretty.

i sent out 24 poems earlier this morning; 3 to Rusty Truck, 5 each to Horror Sleaze Trash, Carcinogenic Poetry and Philosophical Idiot, and 6 poems to Record Magazine. when i hear back from these places, i'll pass along the verdicts.

mom just got a phone call from her job saying she has been terminated since she's been out a year. i get the feeling this is going to be a really fun day.

the New York Yankees routed Detroit again last night, winning 10-2. they will go for the sweep this afternoon.

NXT was pretty good last night. it was sort of a fill in episode since they have to tape new episodes after Takeover. i could watch Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate wrestle for the next 20 years and never get bored.

Lucha Underground was really good last night. The Cueto Cup Finals was excellent. and i'm sort of wondering what the shenanigans in the main event mean for the next Ultima Lucha.

Big Brother was pretty funny last night. i'm pretty sure Mark will get voted out tonight and then the house will have to decide who is the next target. the longer they keep Paul in the game, the more stupid they look.

Mr. Mercedes was excellent last night. the show is really getting creepy now.

Snowfall was great last night. just two damn episodes remain. what a great show.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Big Brother, Weekend Update and The Chris Gethard Show.

i did listen to the latest Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast this morning. you can find that by going here:

i didn't mind the draw Manchester United got for the Champions League.

plus, look who is back:
of course, the picture Zlatan used is fucking classic:
things just got interesting.

i'm not sure if i'm going to the grocery store today or tomorrow. plus, i know i need to make a trip to Menards as well.

that's all for me kids.

no good deed goes unpunished...

so i went next door to do the trash yesterday and my aunt said to leave the garage door open when i left. no problem i told her as i handed her her mail. i walked back out to the garage and there was the cousin that molested me getting out of her SUV. well, hello, how are you doing? i swear if she would have tried to touch me i would be asking to write this from jail today. i kind of just mumbled some bullshit and she went into the house. i tried to get finished as quickly as i could. it's this kind of shit that will make sure i hate life until i am finished with it.

a little poetry news to pass on. i heard back from Easy Street on my poetry submission from a few weeks ago. they decided to pass. i just love the first email i open up in the morning being a rejection letter. kind of just tells you to buckle up asshole, it's going to be a bumpy one. so, i'm going to take those 5 that were rejected and 3 others and add them to the submission pile for tomorrow (hopefully).

the New York Yankees scored early and often last night, defeating the Tigers 13-4. Gary Sanchez had a monster night and for the first time in 37 games, Aaron Judge didn't have a strikeout. hopefully they can get another win tonight.

Smackdown was pretty good last night. i love that Bobby Roode is now on the show. and i can't wait to see what happens with Shelton Benjamin finally being back in WWE. i think it's pretty obvious they are going to have a Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens match sometime soon. i think they missed the boat though by not putting Sami Zayn and Kevin back together. that could have been amazing.

205 Live was pretty good last night as well. i can't wait to see Neville beat the shit out of Enzo on a weekly basis.

Hard Knocks was good last night. it was a short episode, which tells me that Tampa is full of boring ass guys.

Deadliest Catch was sad as fuck last night. i don't think any reality show has dealt with death better than this one.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Big Brother, Mr. Mercedes, Snowfall and Lucha Underground. i'll watch NXT sometime tonight on WWE Network.

i had to take mom to get some blood work done today for her upcoming cataract surgeries. after that, she wanted to go out to lunch. we went to this sports bar that she likes that we used to go to all the time before she had her hip replaced. lunch was pretty good but i think all of it was a little much for mom. i'm hoping she will start to feel much better once she can actually see again.

i'm really interested to see what group Manchester United is going to end up in tomorrow in the Champions League draw. all i'm hoping for is close games so they don't have a ton of travel and avoid the group of death. please.

the heating and air guy was out here today. everything looks good with the air conditioner. pretty soon, it will be fucking winter i suppose.

i guess school started back up here today. i guess i will have to start driving the speed limit in town again.

i might have the artsy fartsy juices flowing again. i have stacks of magazines and poster boards and scissors. what could possibly happen?

i'll be on here sometime in the afternoon most likely. hopefully i will get the poems out in the morning.

it's always something...

plenty of poetry news to get out of the way first kids...

i want you to check out this site and please pass it along to every poet you know.
https://hatepoetmagazine.wordpress.com/

i had a long conversation with my best friend last night. as soon as i saw her number, i knew it was going to be something borderline tragic. 60 minutes later, i'm hoping i gave her some decent advice and hopefully she creates a plan and sticks to it. i know, i almost started laughing while i typed that. i did get a really good poem out of the conversation though. that will be included in my next round of submissions.

i'm pretty sure i know where my next 16 poems are going to go. i am hoping to get those out in the next day or two.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night. i love that the next Raw pay per view will have the main event of Braun Strowman vs. Brock Lesnar. take my money now.

I Hart Food was pretty good last night as well. there has always been a part of me that wanted to live in Asheville, North Carolina.

enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Smackdown, Hard Knocks and Deadliest Catch. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.

i went to the bank today while it was raining. the woman i normally flirt with wasn't working today. my luck, she probably doesn't work there anymore. of course, by the time i came out of the bank, the rain had stopped. it had started once again by the afternoon. as always, fun time for someone with arthritis.

i have trash to pick up and dishes to do, so that's all for me today.

i'll be on here sometime in the afternoon tomorrow most likely.

4 in the morning and still not tired

the only thing i don't like about the long ass WWE pay per views on Sunday nights is all the other shit i'm missing while it's on. so after sitting there and watching about 6 hours of wrestling, i then had 7 hours of shows that i was recording during wrestling to watch. fuck me runnin'. i wouldn't mind it if the wrestling blew me away. sadly, 2 of the matches were really fucking amazing. the rest of the show was nothing better than something they show on Monday or Tuesday. that being said, the fatal 4 way main event last night at WWE SummerSlam between Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman, Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns was fucking crazy good. it was so good that you could easily have a really positive feel about the whole show after it. the other match that was great was The New Day vs. The Usos. it's obvious that both of these teams have great chemistry. the shitty part is the match was on the damn pre-show. all in all, i get the feeling that tonight on Monday Night Raw they will use their "second chance" to get it right, like they normally do.

the New York Yankees could only manage 3 damn hits yesterday as they lost to Boston 5-1. they are off tonight and start a series tomorrow in Detroit.

shockingly, the New Orleans Saints won a damn preseason game last night against the Chargers, 13-7. i only saw some of the highlights from the game. if they actually have a defense this year, they will be scary.

Big Brother was pretty funny last night. i see Christmas is going along with Paul's plan. i wish they would just give him the damn money already.

Power was fucking great last night. that ending almost had me in tears. next week should be crazy.

Ballers was really good last night.

Insecure was excellent last night.

Last Week Tonight was brilliant as always.

The Strain was great last night.

Episodes was pretty damn funny last night. hopefully they have a great final season.

Ray Donovan was really good last night. looks like there might be more sex in this season.

Twin Peaks was another tasty mind fuck last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and I Hart Food. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

it was a little cloudy here today, so i ended up watching most of the eclipse coverage on the NASA channel.

i did see Wayne Rooney score his 200th Premier League goal today for Everton. i got a good laugh that it was at Manchester City.

that's all for me today kids. i have checks to write and shit to get together to make a deposit at the bank tomorrow. i'll be on here after that trip into the unknown.

i hope everyone had a great weekend. my only suggestion if you didn't is to get better friends, real or imaginary.

sometimes these things write themselves

my poem "sometimes these things write themselves" has been published in HST Quarterly (Fall 2017). for more information about it, go here: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/36025163-hstq

good to feel like a kid again... i think

when i was going to the kitchen to fix my second drink last night, laughing my ass off while i was chanting Adam Cole's name in my head, i started to think about my damn near 40 years of watching pro wrestling. one of my earliest memories is sitting on my grandfather's lap watching wrestling on the television. this is 1979 i believe. i was 3 years old and already reading baseball box scores. fast forward 38 years, i love that i can still get a jolt of whatever from simply watching pro wrestling. and when something exceeds my expectations, for a brief moment or two, all is right with the world.

NXT Takeover Brooklyn III last night was great. every match got slightly better as the night went on, right up to the main event. like what has happened before, the heavyweight title match had to come after an outstanding women's title match. and honestly, Ember Moon vs. Asuka was the match of the night. something just felt a little off about Bobby Roode vs. Drew McIntyre. when Drew won the match and won the championship, i pretty much thought that means Bobby is getting called up to either Raw or Smackdown. and then, Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly showed up. they already appeared in the show earlier beating the hell out of everyone after the tag team title match. when i saw them standing on the apron, i immediately got up from my bed and started to wonder where Adam Cole was going to appear from. as soon as the crowd starting going ape shit, i knew it was actually happening. sometimes the rumors are true. Adam came in the ring and destroyed Drew. i guess we have a new feud for NXT now. seeing three of my favorites from the last few years of ROH standing in a WWE ring together was beautiful and surreal. just like pro wrestling. another absolutely great show that will probably be better than SummerSlam tonight.

ROH was really good last night.

the New York Yankees once again found a way to beat Chris Sale. i have no damn clue how they have managed to beat him this season. a couple home runs and then hold the fuck on. thankfully, Girardi took Chapman out of the closer role and it worked last night. the Yankees won 4-3. hopefully they will win the series this afternoon.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother, Power, Ballers, Insecure, Last Week Tonight, The Strain, Twin Peaks, Ray Donovan and Episodes.

i'll be watching WWE Summerslam for most of the evening.

rest in peace Dick Gregory. you did an amazing job while on this planet.

the New Orleans Saints play the Chargers tonight. i'll be slightly amazed if the Saints do something other than lose.

i'll be on here sometime tomorrow, unless the eclipse kills us all.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hopefully your Sunday will be even better.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

a good way to start the morning...

before i go on and on about another Manchester United victory...

i got a line stuck in my head while i was driving back from the drugstore this morning. i have no damn idea where it came from but i'm going to have to write it out sometime tonight because it is still at the top of my brain 4 hours later.

Manchester United defeated Swansea this morning 4-0. i certainly could get used to them scoring 3 goals every second half. i think even more important is back to back clean sheets. i'm desperately hoping that this is what this team is going to be all season. very strong defensively and then fucking lethal in the counter attack. that will win trophies.

the drugstore trip went pretty good. i was able to find everything and do it pretty quickly. i almost bought some more stupid shit for the yard. they had stuff marked 75% off. but i resisted.

i did feed the birds this morning. this weekend is supposed to be dry, so i figured i'd give them some food. looks like i'm going to have to get more suet soon.

the New York Yankees came from behind last night to take a 6-3 lead. no sooner than they scored those runs, Boston came right back in the bottom half of the inning and took the lead right back. fuck me runnin'. the Yankees lost 9-6. they will have to get their shit together quickly if they want to win this series. they face Boston's best pitcher tonight. joy.

VICE was excellent last night. good to see they are making progress with the gorillas in the Congo.

NJPW was great last night. the match between Naito and Ibushi was amazing.

Treehouse Masters was pretty cool last night. i would kill to have a property with that much forest on it.

Room 104 was really fucking weird last night. i enjoyed the shit out of it, especially since it ended with one of my favorite Guided by Voices songs.

Real Time with Bill Maher was pretty good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be ROH.

i'll be watching NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III tonight on WWE Network. it should be an amazing show (fingers crossed).

it's just about time for my damn nap.

i got the dishes done this morning so basically the rest of my day can be a shower, a little writing and then an evening of pro wrestling.

i will be on here tomorrow in the morning, hopefully before the Yankees play.

i hope everyone has a great Saturday. call if you happen to need bail money.

bring on the weekend

so, when the Yankees were cruising along last night, leading 7-0 at one point, i started thinking about different scenarios how they might actually take the division back from Boston. of course, the Mets made a late comeback to get it closer, but the Yankees still won 7-5. that's the first Subway Series sweep for the Yankees since 2003. they start a series tonight up in Boston. they are 4 games behind in the division.

they actually showed more on Big Brother last night than i was thinking they were going to. that means i really don't know what the fuck they are going to show tonight. Cody was evicted first last night. Elena was next out. i guess i'll figure out who is the new HOH sometime tonight.

Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.

Weekend Update last night was fucking hilarious. i warned my mother before she watched it... be prepared to piss your pants from laughing.

The Chris Gethard Show was wonderfully absurd last night.

enjoy some music:

mom's eye appointment went well today. i think everything with her cataract surgeries is going to be covered by her insurance. and i think she's pretty confident about the surgery as well.

she then decided to go with me to the grocery store. this was the first time she's gone grocery shopping in damn near a year. she didn't hold me up too much, although she did buy some extra shit that i wouldn't get if i was there by myself.

i will be on here tomorrow sometime after Manchester United plays in the morning.

such an ugly world

so, here i am yet again, starting a fucking blog off with another fucking terrorist attack. this is one thing i do agree with conservatives on. radical Islamic terrorism must be ended. but, unlike the conservatives, i don't think every fucking Muslim is a fucking terrorist. it's beyond obvious that the only way this government thinks they can beat Isis is through absolute force. how is that working out? i suppose you can't win a war for hearts and minds when your President doesn't have one. personally, i don't think there is much difference between Isis and the fucking Nazis. and i'm way too old and too fucking cynical now to believe love will ever win. i know that's the goal, but i'm a fucking realist. all i can do is treat people the way i would love for them to treat me. i would love to live in a peaceful world at least once before i die. i won't be holding my fucking breath. my thoughts are with Barcelona tonight. mucha fuerza mis amigos.

i see some of the GOP have found their nuts today. good job.

the New York Yankees won again last night, 5-3. Aaron Judge hit a mammoth home run last night. of course, he set a strikeout record as well. they will go for the sweep of the Mets tonight.

Big Brother was pretty funny last night. Cody will be the first one evicted tonight. i don't think the tv audience will get to see who wins the next HOH and the VETO competition and the next eviction until tomorrow night. hopefully there are some damn fireworks for a double eviction night.

Mr. Mercedes was fucking great last night.

Snowfall was fucking brilliant last night. easily, one of the best shows on television right now.

Lucha Underground was amazing last night. the matches were excellent and the brawl to end the show was fucking great. next week should be incredible.

NXT was very good last night. Takeover Brooklyn III should be great on Saturday night.

i wrote 3 poems this afternoon. i figured it was raining and i was in pain. so, i might as well try to squeeze a little creativity out of that. the first poem was a long ass one i had bottled up in me since the weekend. i'm not sure where i'll ever send that epic, but i'd love to see it get published somewhere. the other 2 were pretty good as well. i'm still on a good pace for the month. hopefully, i'll have another writing session and then another round of submissions in the next week or so.

Real Madrid thoroughly outplayed Barcelona yesterday to win 2-0 and win the Spanish Super Cup. given the players that weren't playing for Real Madrid, they are going to be a fucking scary team this year in the Champions League.

i didn't go to the grocery store today. i figure i will go tomorrow after mom's next eye appointment. i believe tomorrow is the measurement day to see what kind of new lens she can get for her eyes.

that's all for me today kids.

happy Elvis is dead day

i have never really been a big fan of Elvis. that is probably due to my father being a huge fan. most of the men in my family that i remember growing up were fans. hell, i remember one cousin dreamed of being an Elvis impersonator. it was probably then that i questioned if i was adopted or stolen from another family. thankfully, i'm not old enough to really recall 40 years ago today.

is anyone really surprised the President is racist? or is it just the typical old man no longer with a filter that actually thinks there is such a thing as a good Nazi? and the silence from the Jews in his inner circles is baffling to me. i guess money can buy every fucking thing in this country, including your fucking soul. enjoy the shit show ladies and gentlemen. you wanted it.

the New York Yankees held on to win last night, 5-4. i do like that Gary Sanchez is heating up. and Sonny Gray finally got some damn run support. but, it might be time to try someone else as closer. they play tonight at the Mets. oh joy, National League baseball.

Smackdown was sort of odd last night. i guess the company lost faith in Baron Corbin, having him cash in the Money in the Bank contract and then having Cena help him lose. i guess i know what that means for SummerSlam. all in all, it's kind of scary how much better Monday Night Raw is at the moment.

205 Live was pretty good last night.

Hard Knocks was pretty funny last night. i do love watching Tampa Bay lose.

Deadliest Catch was really good last night.

The Jim Jefferies Show was fucking fantastic last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Lucha Underground, Mr. Mercedes, Snowfall and Big Brother. i'll watch NXT sometime tonight on WWE Network.

i do plan on watching the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup today between Real Madrid and Barcelona. Barcelona will have to score some away goals today to make it interesting.

it is hotter than shit today. i think it is easily in the 90's. i never like these days. one, i sweat so easily it's ridiculous. two, the heat really fucks with mom's Meniere's disease.

i think it is supposed to storm tomorrow, so it figures that i'll probably have to go to the grocery store. i'll probably be on here after all of that.

i'm really hoping i won't be sitting on the computer at 4 in the morning again like i was 12 hours ago. nothing quite like drinking and then having insomnia.

always good for a laugh

i just watched a "news" conference with President dipshit and the dumb fuck decided to take questions and immediately went right back to his words from Saturday... violence on many sides. that pretty much proves what i said yesterday, his "new" remarks simply being a public relations clean up mess more than his heart, was actually true. he can't fully remove himself from the racists because he knows that eliminates so much of his damn support that he won't have much to stand on. so if he thinks the protests against him are bad now, just fucking wait. i always wondered what this country was like in 1968 with the threat of assassination constantly in the air. my gut tells me i'm going to see it firsthand. i almost feel sorry for the fucker at the White House who has to clean up this mess, again.

the New York Yankees came from behind last night to beat the Mets 4-2. solo home runs from Judge, Sanchez and Hicks did the job. for all of them, that was the 40th home run of their careers. that's kind of spooky. even better last night, the Red Sox lost, so the Yankees picked up a game in the division. hopefully they can win again tonight.

Monday Night Raw was very good last night. they certainly are going into SummerSlam with some good momentum.

I Hart Food is the new show on the Food Network from Hannah Hart (My Drunk Kitchen on YouTube). it was really good, as i thought it would be. it certainly provided a bit of a mental break from the fucking news, that's for sure.

Vice News Tonight last night was great. it was completely a behind the scenes look at what happened in Charlottesville over the weekend. i highly recommend it, especially since it shows you the fucking dumb fucks behind the rally to begin with.

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Smackdown, Hard Knocks, The Jim Jefferies Show and Deadliest Catch. i'll watch 205 Live on WWE Network sometime tonight.

i did listen to the latest Jim Norton & Sam Roberts podcast this morning. you can find that by going here: https://soundcloud.com/jimandsamshow/ep-037-anthony-cumia

i think the alcohol worked last night as i got a good amount of sleep overnight. not as much as i probably needed as i probably need a damn coma to catch up quite honestly.

i do need to get the trash picked up here and next door, so that's all for me today kids.

i have no clue when i'll be on here tomorrow. everything has been sort of thrown out of whack now that mom is more or less finished with her physical therapy.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...

the epitome of a brutal loss

the New York Yankees were two outs away last night from an incredible win against one of the best pitchers in baseball and would have been just 3 1/2 games out of the division. instead, an unbelievable home run and some shitty managerial decisions took place and the Yankees lost 3-2 in 10 innings. an absolute brutal loss that has them 5 1/2 games out. thank god i have matured a bit. 10 years ago that would be the kind of loss that would have me up 2 days later still wondering about it. the Yankees start a series with the fucking Mets tonight. hopefully they start to fucking win consistently again.

Big Brother was pretty funny last night. the look on Cody's face when he couldn't even lose correctly was priceless.

Power was fucking great last night. another excellent ending.

Ballers was really good last night.

Insecure was fucking fantastic last night.

Last Week Tonight was absolutely hilarious.

The Strain was really good last night.

Ray Donovan was good last night.

Twin Peaks was yet another delicious mind fuck. loved the David Bowie flashback.

the season finale of I'm Dying Up Here was excellent last night.

i did watch the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup yesterday. CR7 had a very interesting few minutes. come on as a sub, score an amazing goal, get a yellow card for showing the crowd how many abs you have, get another yellow card (wrongly) for falling down in the box and then push the referee in the back when he shows you the red card. he ended up with a 5 game suspension for just about 20 minutes of action in the game. Real Madrid defeated Barcelona 3-1. the second leg is on Wednesday.

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and I Hart Food. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

my last load of laundry is in the dryer. the dishes are already done. so, now all i have to do is clean the toilets. joy.

i think i got almost 5 1/2 hours of sleep last night. sadly, i don't think i moved at all. so, waking up this morning, that felt like murder in my joints. hello arthritis, fuck you.

just imagine if the dipshit acting as President would have said what he said today on Saturday. i imagine a good number of people would actually think he was starting to understand what being President actually means. instead, today was simply cleaning up a public relations mess and nothing more. he looked so damn uncomfortable throwing the racists, his people, under the bus. i'm sure all you Trump voters must feel proud.

i hope everyone had a great weekend. i'm off to go fold clothes and get ready for dinner.

better than the dreams

i don't think i could have dreamed of Manchester United getting off to a better start to this season. they played the best i have seen them play in years, probably since Sir Alex. and to get a 4-0 win over West Ham to start off the season will hopefully be a sign of things to come. 2 goals from Lukaku and a goal each from Martial and Pogba. i will certainly enjoy that drink this evening.

the New York Yankees got off to a good start yesterday and then the shit hit the fan. Boston whipped them 10-5 and honestly, it never felt that close. i would say hopefully they will win tonight, but i seriously doubt they will. they now have 2 starters on the disabled list and honestly, i could see them have to fight tooth and nail just to hang on to a wildcard spot for the playoffs.

ROH was really good last night.

i did get a good laugh from the President's inability to say the KKK or white nationalists or white supremacists in his bullshit comments on what happened yesterday in Charlottesville, Virginia. of course, when you have fucking racists whispering into your ear everyday from inside the White House, what should i expect. the hoods have been replaced with red hats. as one headline said today, Trump lit the flames of hatred, it's up to us to put them out. i urge all of you to check out this link and read the article and then really, really think about what fucking country you want to live in.

i do plan on watching the Spanish Super Cup this afternoon, which is getting ready to start now. this is the first leg between Real Madrid and Barcelona.

i had a heartbreaking phone call with my best friend this morning. when she told me her apartment has a gas leak but the landlord won't do anything to fix it, i was furious. but, since she told she's been fucked over by every social service there is in Arkansas, i told her the best advice i had for her is to either leave the state or die as quietly as she can. there certainly is a piece of me that thinks i might not hear from her again.

i have no clue when i'll be on here tomorrow. all i'm hoping is that my damn headache is gone by then.
