and here comes the words...

i heard from my good friend Janne Karlsson today. i hadn't heard from him for months, so that made me happy. so, of course, we talked about death and joked about it, etc. i think we both know the temptation of suicide, especially since neither one of us are rich enough to never have to think about such things. but, i did write 3 poems after our conversation. Janne has always loved my poetry and has helped me get it out there, mostly due to my refusal to ever be on Facebook. so, thank you once again my friend.

Vice News Tonight had another great two shows this week.

AEW Dynamite was excellent last night. i love a company that shows just how great tag team wrestling can be when done correctly.

Batwoman was really good last night.

i got my order from Topps.com today, both of them actually. i got a Columbus Crew card for FREE and i got a box of that Mickey Mantle set they were selling last week. i did get a numbered card in the pack i bought, so that made me happy.

and amazingly, the last gift i got for my sister actually arrived today from Asia. so now, i am done with getting shit for Christmas. good times.

on the DVR tonight will be Young Sheldon, United States of Al, B Positive, the season finale of What We Do in the Shadows, Cake, Desus & Mero and the season finale of Dark Side of the Ring. i did watch NXT UK this afternoon on Peacock. it was good.

here are your NBA highlights from last night:

it has rained here for most of the day. this has been a house of misery for the most part. i think it is supposed to rain for most of tomorrow as well. joy.

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. i think i will be going to Big Lots at some point tomorrow. i know mom wants to find something to cover the back patio furniture. of course, i suppose i need to measure that shit first before i go. have i mentioned how i hate the rain?

until tomorrow kids...

apparently, i have to sleep in shifts...

i have spent most of today either aching from the rain this morning or trying to find a spot for my right arm not to hurt. the massage chair has helped me get a couple naps in. but, i'm only sleeping 3 to 4 hours at night. it's fucking draining me, i know that.

the New York Yankees offense came to life last night, finally. they defeated Tampa 8-3. there's a chance for rain tonight, so i don't know if that game will be played or not. hopefully, it will be and the Yankees will win again.

Smackdown was good last night, but could have been much better. i do love that it seems that Kevin Owens is going to get a major push now.

205 Live was excellent last night.

Deadliest Catch was really good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Big Brother and Snowfall. i'll watch NXT sometime tonight on WWE Network. i watched NXT UK this afternoon, it was good.

so, the rain woke me up this morning. after i took my blood sugar, i went out to get the paper. the trash truck was coming, so i figured i would wait around for it. i watched the fucker take the trash out of our can and leave the lid open and walk away. that truly pissed me off. i went back outside and brought the can back into the garage. thankfully, not much water got in it. i had to take the neighbor's cans up to their garages, so i got plenty of the rain this morning. it probably took me the rest of the morning to get to feeling better. joy.

i did see that Manchester United won again in Australia today, over Leeds, 4-0.

if i can block out the pain for long enough tonight, i'm going to try to get some writing done. i know i need to crank out a fresh batch of filth, as i have a few places in mind to send to.

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. these hot and humid days are just a grind to get through anymore.

these are the days where i wish lived by the ocean or a lake, somewhere where i could just have some cool water nearby. i always had a dream when i was a kid that i would have a little slice of land that had a pond on it. the farm i used to live on had a little bit of running water in the back, a little creek. that's probably as close as i will ever get to it.

hope the heat isn't bad wherever you may be. until tomorrow kids...

one of those unexpected moments...

Drew Brees threw his 500th and 501st touchdown passes yesterday. when the Saints were up and the Ravens were driving, i was really hoping the defense would find a way to make a stand. silly me, the Ravens went right down the field and scored a touchdown. thanks to an act of Mother Nature, the Ravens kicker, who had NEVER missed an extra point in his professional career, missed the kick. Saints won 24-23. that's a huge fucking win on the road and that gives Drew Brees a victory over every team in the NFL.

the New York Rangers lost to Calgary last night, 4-1. to be honest, i didn't watch much of the game at all. i figure there's going to be plenty of games like that this season.

America to Me was pretty good last night. the series finale is next week.

Shameless was great last night. i'm a little pissed the show won't be on again until January, but i'll get over it.

Kidding was fucking great last night.

The Deuce was excellent last night.

Camping was pretty funny last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Voice and Stolen Daughters: Kidnapped by Boko Haram. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

i woke up this morning to 5 poems being rejected by North of Oxford. not exactly the way i hoped to start a Monday, but oh well.

i will be on here tomorrow after mom has her eye surgery on her left eye and after Manchester United plays Juventus in the Champions League.

physical therapy went very well today. i don't have to go back. my therapist showed me another exercise to add to my routine. i told him i've been doing the stretching and exercises four times a day here the last few days and the back has really responded. so, that will be the plan going forward. hopefully, i won't have to have any physical therapy for the rest of the year.

i mailed off my mother's and my absentee ballots today. so i guess i'm back in the system now.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

Entonces, ¿alguna sugerencia para cenar esta noche?

when silence isn't good enough...

so Debbie pushed all the right buttons today and i gave her the line i had in my head knowing this day was coming. "at 45, i would hope you know about choices and consequences. you wanted change, this was what you got." as you might imagine, that did not go over well. the best part of the long ass stupid argument today was her believing my mental health is on shaky ground and needs attended to. pot, meet kettle. i left the option to her if she wanted to end the friendship or not. she was too much of a pussy to give me an answer, even though she pretty much gave me her answer in the update on the Gofundme page. i laugh at her belief that i'm upset at her not doing things the right way. there is no right way when fighting cancer. it's called whatever works. she never could get that into her head. she would rather have me tell her how good of a job she was doing and constantly need that affirmation every fucking hour of every fucking day. for someone who brags about being this bad ass and so damn tough because of surviving the streets... and so fucking unwilling to just admit the truth. this shit is scaring the shit out of her. and it should. it's life and death type shit now. and god forbid that i want her to use the social worker, use all the damn resources available to make things as easy as possible. and Debbie never wants to admit, she chose Colorado because weed was legal. i'm not sure you can complain about not having anyone there for you when that was never a concern when going there in the first place. but, once again, what the fuck do i know.

what truly pisses me off about this is i am falling madly in love with this woman in Rome, Italy and i can't fucking enjoy it because my best friend needs to have a fucking argument every fucking day.

and i am an asshole for saying she needs some psychological help immediately. her reply is i will never treat mine. that made me laugh.

i did get up this morning after some really shitty sleep. my left ankle has really been bothering me here lately. i can constantly feel the pressure building up in it. when i crack it (like cracking your knuckles), there is some relief, but it feels like it's just jammed right into my foot. good times. that had me tossing and turning for most of the night.

the grocery store was kind of dead this morning. and of course, they didn't have everything i needed. so, i had to go to the local grocery store to get everything else. all in all, i got it all done before noon. that includes getting gas as well. so, at least i got it all done before it got too fucking hot today. they are saying it's going to feel like 100 for the next few days. joy.

Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.

Big Brother was pretty good last night.

Lip Sync Battle was much better than i thought it was going to be last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be VICE, 2 episodes of NJPW, Major League Wrestling and Real Time with Bill Maher.

the New York Yankees play Boston tonight at home. the Yankees are 1 game behind in the standings, so this is a pretty big series before July hits. hopefully, the Yankees win tonight and win the series.

i wasn't shocked that LeBron opted out today. at least everyone knows what the summer is going to be about in the NBA.

i will probably be on here tomorrow after the World Cup games are over. tomorrow France takes on Argentina and Portugal plays Uruguay. both of those games should be really good.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. if it is hotter than shit where you are, enjoy the air conditioning or remember to drink a little more water than liquor.

nothing like 3 hours of sleep

i couldn't fall asleep for anything last night. masturbation didn't help. alcohol didn't help. boring ass infomercials didn't help either. i guess between the hurricane coverage and exhaustion, my body finally tapped out. for a whole 3 fucking hours. fuck me.

the New York Yankees left a small village on base last night (they left the bases loaded 3 different times) and eventually lost to Seattle, 2-1 in 11 innings. so much for the fight bringing them together. hopefully they actually get some hits this afternoon and win. they pissed away a chance to gain ground on Boston last night.

VICE was excellent last night. the situation in Venezuela is fucking horrible.

NJPW was great last night. Kenny Omega is another wrestler i could watch forever and never get bored.

Treehouse Masters was good last night.

Room 104 was great last night. being a writer and sometimes wishing i was adopted, i totally understood the episode.

Whitney: Can I Be Me was pretty damn sad last night. it was pretty obvious that eventually she wasn't doing the drugs, the drugs were doing her. such a talent gone way too fucking soon.

Real Time with Bill Maher was pretty fucking funny last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be ROH and Jackie.

i guess there's some big fight in Las Vegas tonight. i really couldn't give two shits about it.

Manchester United plays Leicester City this afternoon. hopefully they can continue their great start to the season.

i'm not sure if the New Orleans Saints game is going to happen tonight or not. if they do play, they are playing against the Texans.

i am planning on making a trip to Menards today. a few odds and ends for the house and the birds, plus it's the last day of their 11% rebate on everything sale.

i suppose i should try to sneak in a nap before i make that drive.

i hope everyone has a great Saturday. i hope the floods in Texas aren't as bad as feared.

too cold for me to be in a good mood

when i woke up this morning, it was 2 degrees outside. it's not the cold that i hate, it's the people bitching about it, like they really are in agony over it. i worked outside for 7 years. i know what frostbite is like, i know what being so fucking cold your eyeballs are starting to freeze is like. being cold because you forgot to layer is not my problem.

i knew the foam insulation would have no chance of getting done today with how cold it is. the guy doing it called mom right before 9 AM and told her so. he did do the attic though, as that wasn't going to be foam. i guess next week is supposed to be warmer, so he's going to do the job then. i took everything off the walls last night inside the house. now, i have to do the same on the two walls of the garage he's going to do from the inside. great.

imagine being cranky and having to go to the grocery store to pick up $60 worth of prescriptions and trying to figure out which pad would be best for your mother since the one she asked for isn't on the shelf. no wonder i next went to the liquor store inside of the grocery store and got a bottle of whiskey and a bottle of spiced rum. merry fucking Christmas. i'm hoping i won't have to go back to the store for a few days at the very least now.

Lucha Underground was great last night.

NXT was pretty good last night.

Total Divas was pretty fucking funny last night.

WWE Tribute to the Troops was much better than i thought it was going to be last night.

i'm saving the Saturday Night Live Christmas special for sometime around Christmas.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Big Bang Theory, Life in Pieces and Impact Wrestling: Total Non-Stop Deletion. i'm only recording that since it's supposed to crazy as hell. plus, i haven't seen the Rock and Roll Express wrestle in probably 20 years.

i did listen to the latest Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast today. i highly recommend it. you can find it by going here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/sam-roberts-wrestling-podcast/id934576040?mt=2

i got some great FREE music on NoiseTrade this afternoon. i will post the link below in the music section and i HIGHLY recommend you check it out.

i might do some writing tonight, either that or figure out where the next round of poems are going. i know i'd like to get another batch out before the end of the year.

the New York Rangers play at Dallas tonight. hopefully all the rest did The King well. he'll be back in goal tonight.

that's all for me kids. i hope everyone stays warm.

and then BOOM!

it was another Yankee game where i find myself wondering in the middle innings why the fuck do i bother to watch this team. constantly swinging at bad pitches and getting fooled by a guy with a bad arm and nothing over 85 mph.

and then BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a walk, a misplayed fly ball double and a home run. 3 pitches, score tied. 2 batters later Eric Chavez hits the first pinch hit home run of his injury riddled career and the Yankees have the lead. and then the best bullpen in baseball, even without the hammer of god (Mariano Rivera) struck out nearly everyone left in the game. a nice way to end a losing streak.

i have no clue if the Yankees will be able to hit a knuckle ball tonight or not.

i also have no clue who is going to win today between England and Italy in EURO 2012 action. could be a great chess match or just what i need for an afternoon nap. regardless, i think the finals will be Spain and Germany. both are just playing too good at the moment.

chance of rain tonight. yeah right.

looking forward to the new HBO show tonight, the newsroom or whatever the fuck it's called. looks like it will be pretty good.
