while on the topic of poetry, i finally put pen to paper today with all the shit regarding my father. i haven't typed the three poems up yet, as i really needed to walk away from them for a bit just so i don't let emotion get too involved. as you might imagine, this was a bit of a catharsis. as much as i needed it, it doesn't solve anything really. his death will be the only thing that will cleanse me i suppose.

a little warning, i've been listening to a ton of music here lately, so be prepared.

the New York Rangers once again last night proved why they are the best road team in the NHL. 40 very tight minutes where they built the lead. the last 20 minutes they did bend but did not break. a 2-1 win to go up 2 games to 1 in the series. highlights below:

the New York Yankees pissed away some great pitching last night from CC and lost in Detroit 2-1. hopefully they can do better tonight.

i caught up on all the shows i missed last night this morning/afternoon. Gotham was great. i really can't wait to see how the last two episodes of the season play out. Monday Night Raw was pretty good. it wasn't exactly how i thought they would go into a ppv, but their creative team seems lost anymore. The Voice had two performances that absolutely blew me away:
i'll be interested to see who makes the top 8 tonight.

on the DVR tonight will be Deadliest Catch and whatever late night shows i decide i should get sleep instead of staying up for.

here's this gem from last night:

that's all for me today. the wind is finally starting to settle down here. of course, it almost made it to 60 degrees today. oh well.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...
