making the most of a bye week...

so on this Sunday that the New Orleans Saints aren't playing, i wanted to get some shit done. i asked mom if she wanted biscuits and gravy for breakfast this morning. she said yeah, so i got to it in the kitchen. mom didn't like how thin the gravy was so she added some flour to it. and by some, i mean way too much. so, instead of biscuits and gravy we had biscuits and porridge. she didn't like it. it was edible, but i'm paying for it now. i'm in the middle of doing my laundry while my stomach is doing gymnastics. good times.

the New York Rangers won yesterday in Nashville, 2-1. i think the boys have found a style that clicks with them.

the Dayton Flyers won yesterday against Cedarville, 93-60. i was happy with the way the team looked. they are way deeper and more athletic than last season. if they can stay healthy, they should have a chance to do something special this season. the renovations to UD Arena look fucking amazing. of course, with all my mother's medical conditions, i doubt she'll be able to go to the games and actually enjoy herself. when i'm there alone, i do a ton of people watching during timeouts. i should have a few poems stirring about. here are some highlights from the game:

NJPW was really good last night. i could watch Sanada and Okada wrestle forever.

ROH was good last night.

Bluegrass Underground and Austin City Limits were both really good last night.

Saturday Night Live was pretty funny last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Axios, Batwoman, the mid-season finale of Power, the series finale of The Affair, Watchmen, Silicon Valley, Mrs. Fletcher and Last Week Tonight.

i'm going to try to do some poetry work tonight, especially since i realized the other day i didn't send any poems out in October. hello depression, my name is...

mom starts her physical therapy tomorrow, so i should be on here after that is over.

i hope everyone had a good Saturday. hope your Sunday is even better.

i have clothes to go fold. so, until tomorrow kids...
