well, that was disappointing...

i didn't sleep worth a shit last night. i'm not very good at putting eye drops in my own eyes either. and what the eye doctor gave me is more of a gel, so that didn't help my cause. thankfully, my mother helped me. i figure i'll get better at that with time. i usually sleep with a fan on me. i figure that probably played a role in my eye being dry. so, i changed that last night. i couldn't get used to the lack of sound that i normally sleep to. so, i'm basically trying to teach an old dog new tricks. i'll be dead before i'm 50.

team USA lost yesterday to Sweden 4-2 at the World Juniors. honestly, Sweden was the better team. you really can't give up 2 short handed goals on a power play and expect to win. the USA will face the Czech Republic today for the Bronze medal. Canada will take on Sweden for the Gold. hopefully the USA will take home a medal today.

Manchester United takes on Derby County today in the FA Cup. that's probably the only trophy United has a real chance of winning this season. hopefully they can keep that dream alive by winning today.

that game will be on at the same time as the Bronze medal game between the USA and the Czech Republic. plus, i will probably be doing my laundry while all of that is going on. thank god i can pause live tv.

before all that happens today, i need to take a shower and go do the grocery shopping. i believe it's a balmy 3 degrees outside right now, so i just can't wait to get out there and start this shit show.

mom said if the weather is decent, we'll be going to the basketball game tomorrow. so, if i get a wild hair up my ass, i'll try to get the blog done before that happens. if not, it will be in the afternoon while i'm busying watching wrestling from Japan.
