when i woke up this morning i saw the news about Road Warrior Animal dying at age 60. The Road Warriors were my favorite tag team growing up. they introduced me to Black Sabbath. they looked like true bad asses and were easily, at least in my mind, the greatest tag team that ever lived. it's so damn hard to even think that both Hawk and Animal are now dead. thanks for all the memories. may you rest in power and peace.
a delightful trip into the dark mind of an evil genius or simply the musings of an asshole

breakfast at noon
i'm not sure last night could have gone any worse for me. just one shitty thing after another. i was beyond fucking annoyed by the time i got to bed at 5 this morning.
the New York Yankees lost to Toronto last night, 11-5.

well, that was fruitless...
i had to go out and pick up some pills for my mother today at the grocery store. i figured, since i was out, i'd check out the Walgreens across the street and see if they had any baseball cards. i remember getting a jumbo box there a month or so ago. of course, they were all out. i decided to check at Rite Aid where i live to see if they had any. nope. well fuck.
the Yankees lost to Boston yesterday, 10-2, but thanks to Seattle losing to San Diego, the Yankees did clinch a playoff spot. they start a 4 game series with Toronto tonight. hopefully, they get back to winning so they can at least have the first round of the playoffs at Yankee Stadium.
here are your NBA highlights from last night:
the finale of Love Fraud was good last night.
Our Cartoon President was fucking hilarious last night.

at least the day got better as it went along...
so, when i was last on here, it was right before Manchester United was going to play yesterday. thank fucking god i didn't watch the game. United lost to Crystal Palace 3-1. great. maybe this will be a wake up call to the club to sign some fucking people. or, maybe the owners want them to become an afterthought.

let the hypocrisy begin...
my mother audibly screamed last night when she found out about the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. i told her i'm pretty sure the Republicans will ram through a nominee in the 6 weeks before the election, kindly forgetting the bullshit rules they established when Scalia died in Obama's presidency. i'd love to believe the American people are tired of this kind of hypocrisy, but i know more to actually believe that. the stupid fucks in this country believe god is on the side of the right, therefore they can do whatever the fuck they want. i can only imagine their sadness when they realize religion is all bullshit too.
the Yankees were down 4-0 last night early to the Red Sox. i didn't like their chances, but, the Red Sox are tanking their season. the Yankees came back to win 6-5 in 12 innings. that's 9 wins in a row. hopefully, tonight they make it to 10.

welcome to the weekend...
they simply don't have enough hours for all the shit i try to get done each fucking day. but, i try my best to do as much as possible since i know, one day, i won't be around anymore. and i know exactly what i'm seeing on the horizon.
i think i made my first sale of baseball cards today. fingers crossed.
i am going through all my albums of cards and getting them in order. i went a little nuts this afternoon and did 8 of them. i think i only have 3 left to do now. i have 36 total!!!!
the Yankees became the first MLB team to ever hit 6 or more home runs in 3 straight games. they swept the Blue Jays last night, 10-7. they start a series tonight in Boston. i really hope they just keep on fucking winning.
response from Terror House Magazine
i heard back from Matt at Terror House Press on my latest poetry submission. my poems "as bad as it feels anymore", "endless scars from life" and "flowers that never bloom" have been accepted for publication in the magazine on or around October 11th.

where does the time go...
i really hate the new Blogger format. i'm sure i'll come to adjust to it, but i will be kicking and screaming all the fucking way.
i was up until 7 this morning. but, i finally got a nibble on the baseball cards. i'm really hoping this sale will go through, as i need the fucking money.
the Yankees hit seven home runs last night and defeated the Blue Jays, 13-2. this was the first time in franchise history they hit six or more home runs in back to back games. holy shit. they go for the sweep tonight.
Wednesday, September 16, 2020
so, i went to bed at a decent hour...
the Yankees whipped the Blue Jays last night, 20-6. they got a few players back from injury last night. tonight, they get Aaron Judge back from his injury. hopefully, they are getting healthy at the right time.
Big Brother was good last night.
Deadliest Catch was very good last night. the season finale is next week.

the grocery shopping went pretty good today. mom was a little shocked at how much i got. she was then stunned when she saw the receipt and saw how much i had saved. i keep telling her, if she would have had me doing this years ago, she'd be richer.
i'm not sure when i will be on here tomorrow.
thanks again for everyone that checked out my latest poem that was published. i really appreciate it.

i do hope to watch some of Game 7 tonight between the Nuggets and Clippers. i won't be shocked if the Clippers choke again.
the Yankees start a huge series with the Blue Jays tonight. hard to believe there are only 13 games left to this season. the Yankees are 1/2 game behind the Blue Jays in the division.
i need to pick the trash up here and next door. so, that's all for me kids.
i should be on here after i get the grocery shopping done tomorrow.

always fun going to bed when the sun is coming up...
yesterday seemed long as fuck, but in a good way...
my sister left in the afternoon yesterday. it was a pretty quiet visit for the most part. i do believe she liked her birthday gifts.
the Yankees came from behind yesterday and swept the Orioles, 3-1. that's 5 victories in a row now. they are off tonight and start a HUGE series at home against Toronto tomorrow.
here are your NBA highlights from yesterday:
here are your NHL highlights from yesterday:
the New Orleans Saints defeated Tampa Bay yesterday, 34-23. the defense looked great yesterday. the offense needs some work. Drew Brees looked like an old man finally. but, they did enough to start the season off with a victory and make Tom Brady look like an even older man than Brees.
the season finale of We Hunt Together was very good.
Love Fraud was good last night. the finale is next week.
Desus & Mero was fucking hilarious last night.

i had to go out this afternoon and pick up mom's pills from the pharmacy. i decided i'd go and check out some baseball cards at Meijer since i was out. they didn't have much at all. i got a few packs of 2019 Topps Series 1 and some 2019 Score football cards. i got a few good ones, probably worth about as much as i paid for everything. mom wanted me to get her a frozen coke while i was out. thankfully, the machine at Burger King was working today.
i'll probably watch a little of the NHL playoffs tonight. the NBA is off tonight.
i'm not sure when i will be on here tomorrow. i know i'd love to get to bed before morning, that's for sure.
i hope everyone had a great weekend.
