part of my childhood has died...

i'm sure i'm not the only one that felt that punch to the gut today when the news hit that Pee Wee Herman was dead. Paul Reubens played that character so damn well that you can't imagine anyone else on earth ever doing it. i remember watching the Pee Wee Herman Show when i was probably too young to watch it. and then came the movies, Pee Wee's Playhouse, etc. that always made me laugh. and it taught me a valuable lesson in how uncomfortable can be fucking hilarious. to know that cancer was the reason for his death at 70 years old crushed me. cancer is probably one of the things i hate the most in this world. thank you for allowing a young kid to laugh at stupid shit and actually have fun.

i went and got my new glasses and sunglasses today. my vision is horrible and i can tell my eyes are only getting worse. but, i can see way better with these than my old ones. hopefully, i won't need new ones for a few years (fingers crossed).

the Yankees lost last night at Baltimore, 9-3. they start a series tonight at home against Tampa Bay.

i did watch a good amount of the Leagues Cup last night.

i went to Meijer yesterday since i had a few coupons that were going to expire. i shocked mom by getting dinner last night with a pizza at Meijer for less than $3.

WWE NXT Great American Bash was good last night.

Heels was very good last night.

the two episode finale of The Righteous Gemstones was fucking hilarious last night.

i have no damn clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

hard to believe July will be over in a few hours. time for the dog days of summer i suppose.

so, i went to bed at a decent hour...

5 in the morning. ha ha. i should have just stayed up until the damn sun came up and got my usual sleep, etc. instead i tried to get a little more sleep and i have been dragging all day long. fuck it.

the Yankees whipped the Blue Jays last night, 20-6. they got a few players back from injury last night. tonight, they get Aaron Judge back from his injury. hopefully, they are getting healthy at the right time.

Big Brother was good last night.

Deadliest Catch was very good last night. the season finale is next week.

here are your highlights from the NBA last night:

the grocery shopping went pretty good today. mom was a little shocked at how much i got. she was then stunned when she saw the receipt and saw how much i had saved. i keep telling her, if she would have had me doing this years ago, she'd be richer.

i'm not sure when i will be on here tomorrow.

thanks again for everyone that checked out my latest poem that was published. i really appreciate it.

sometimes you just have to walk away...

when Marcus Rashford put a ball off the crossbar in the first minute today against Barcelona, i had a good feeling about Manchester United's chances today. but, 2 goals from Messi in the first 20 minutes put any good thoughts to bed. i turned the game off after the first goal. if United comes back and pulls off the miracle, i'll gladly watch the highlights. but, i've got shit to do and watching them lose in the Champions League isn't on the docket for today.

i got to bed at a decent hour last night (3 AM). i still only slept about 5 hours or so. so, apparently it doesn't matter if i drink coffee or not, i'm simply not sleeping worth a shit anymore. might be time to go back to my teens and start smoking marijuana again.

here are your highlights from the NHL playoffs last night:

here are your highlights from the NBA playoffs last night:

i thought Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night. it will be interesting to see who goes to Smackdown tonight on the second night of the superstar shakeup.

The Voice was really good last night. i thought the Crossover Battles was a good way to freshen up the show a bit. the results show is tonight.

mom wanted Chinese food for lunch today. i have no damn clue anymore with her taste buds. i'm more or less the chauffeur that sits around and waits for orders.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Smackdown, The Voice, The Jim Jefferies Show, Miz & Mrs. and Deadliest Catch. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.

the New York Yankees start a 2 game series tonight at home against the Boston Red Sox. the Yankees put Greg Bird on the injured list today. i have NEVER seen a team have so many god damn injuries at the start of a season in my 43 years on this planet. holy shit.

i do plan on watching plenty of the NHL and NBA playoffs tonight as well.

here are your videos for this day of National Poetry Month:

the weather is really nice here today. warm, but windy.

i will probably be on here tomorrow after a trip to the bank.
