start the month off with pain...

so, i had to sit in on mom's physical therapy session yesterday. i didn't get the chance to write any poems. i guess mom's sciatic nerve is pinched. plus, her left shoulder has some problems as does her right hip. at least she has the same physical therapist as she did two years ago. so, he knows what he's gotten himself into.

it is raining today, so this truly is the house of misery.

The Voice was good last night. i was a little surprised at one of the eliminations last night. but, the 3 i picked for the finals are still in it...

NXT was excellent last night. i can't wait for War Games this Sunday.

on the DVR tonight will be AEW Dynamite, The Masked Singer, Alter Ego and Hard Knocks.

the Dayton Flyers play tonight at home against Alabama State. Dayton is a 20 point favorite. i'm hoping they actually play like one tonight for a change. it is supposed to be a full house tonight. i'm guessing the roars will be loud after that tournament win in Florida.

the New York Rangers play tonight at home against the Philadelphia Flyers. hopefully, the boys continue to find ways to win.

i should be on here tomorrow in the morning. i think mom is going to cancel her appointment tomorrow, so that should free up my day. this is the first time she has ever dealt with nerve pain. i'm trying to give her what i remember when i dealt with this shit 13 years ago.

that's all for me kids. i need to go ice my back and go get the groceries before the basketball game tonight.

what happens when the pain wins...

my arthritis has been killing me today. i believe these are the days morphine was created for.

so, let me start with the good news. the New Orleans Saints defeated Washington yesterday, 33-22. Jameis Winston threw 4 touchdowns, which made up for his two turnovers, i guess. the hail mary at the end of the first half was awesome. that happened just a little after the pizza mom wanted arrived. all in all, a good way to go into the bye week. hopefully, most of the injured players will be back after the bye.

the USMNT lost to Panama last night, 1-0. i'm not sure why they rotated the team as much as they did. i'm not sure why the coach waited so long to get Ricardo Pepi into the game. and honestly, the whole team was fucking naive about playing in Panama. so fucking frustrating to watch. hopefully, they will play much better on Wednesday in Columbus against Costa Rica.
