took a trip back into the past last night

for some damn reason, Menards has my mother's shipping address as our old farm, but the bills all come to the house. mom alerted them to this when she ordered some things from there, but of course Menards did nothing. so, mom saw last night that it was delivered to the farm. i told her we might as well drive out there, it's probably still on the fucking porch.

i can't believe the number of trees that have been cut down. they have cleared so much and wonder why it floods down at the end of the lane. the family living there now have done a pretty nice job with the house. they are running a little business there as well. the upgrades they made to the porch and summer kitchen was stuff we always wanted to do but never had the money for it. and yes, the package was right where i thought it would be. after that trip, mom wanted Taco Bell. that pretty much summed up a night in a small town.

i think i finished the 8th poem i wrote last night around 3 in the morning. i definitely hopped on a wave last night and rode the fucker to death. i typed those 8 poems up this morning. a few are really fucking good. the total brings me to more than 30 poems this month. so, that goal has been met. i think i will do some poetry submissions in early December and call it a year then. i'd like to actually trick myself into thinking i'm looking forward to Christmas this year.

my plan mostly worked yesterday. i figured if i did the grocery shopping while Manchester United was playing, they would do well. sure enough, when i got home from the store they were up 3-0. they eventually won the game over Watford 4-2. that cuts the deficit in the league back down to 5 points. hopefully City will fuck up today and leave it there.

the grocery store wasn't nearly as crowded as i thought it was going to be yesterday. i was able to find everything on the list. i had to restock the freezer, but i was able to keep the bill under $140.

the New York Rangers lost last night to Florida 5-4. they were in a 3-0 hole after the first period. i guess when you grind your goalie into the ground with so many damn starts in a row, it's bound to happen. but, the Rangers also have had a shitty tendency this season to start games sometime around the second period. it's not a way to have a successful season, i know that much. the Rangers got back into the game, eventually tying the game at 4-4. they should have had the lead by then, but the replay officials in Toronto have no damn clue what goalie interference actually is. Florida scored late in the 3rd to win the game 5-4. i would have loved for the Rangers to at least get a point out of that game. the division is going to be fucking crazy this season and every single fucking point will matter.

Smackdown was pretty good last night. i do love where they are going with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

205 Live was pretty good last night as well.

Drop the Mic was really fucking good last night.

The Voice was its usual travesty last night. what happens nearly every fucking season on this show is some lousy fucking country singer will stay and some black soul singer will be voted off. it never fails.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Total Divas and Bruno Mars: 24K Magic Live at the Apollo. i'll watch NXT sometime tonight on WWE Network.

mom and i are going to the Dayton Flyers vs. Auburn game tonight. i think she's feeling up to it. it's supposed to be close to a sellout tonight. Dayton has never lost to Auburn, although i think that might change tonight. the game is on nationally on CBS Sports Network.

that's all for me today kids. hopefully i will be on here tomorrow with good news.

reĆrse de los demonios
