sometimes you learn to hate the world a little more each day

i talked to my best friend for the first time in months today. if even 1/3 of what she told me is true, i hate the world more than i even thought was possible. hopefully she has found a little piece of freedom now and can get cracking on the book to put all of us to shame.

the New York Yankees had as many hits as errors last night. that pretty sums up why i didn't watch more than the first inning. not exactly the debut i wanted for Sonny Gray. the Yankees lost 5-1. hopefully they will do better tonight in Cleveland.

Big Brother went as i expected last night up until the new HOH. holy shit, Josh is the new HOH. this week should be interesting.

Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.

The Chris Gethard Show last night was beautifully absurd. i highly recommend it.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice, Real Time with Bill Maher, Room 104 and Treehouse Masters.

i took mom to Menards this morning. this was sort of a test to see how well she would do in the car on that long of a drive. her goal is to be able to go to my sister's condo one more time before she sells it. mom did pretty good. thankfully, it didn't rain much. we found pretty much everything we were looking for.

i went to the grocery store this afternoon. mom's scroll wasn't as long as the one last week, so i had a better chance to keep it close to $100. after about $30 in coupons and discounts, the final total was around $109. not too bad considering what i was getting.

i need to go out tomorrow afternoon and get ink for our printer. i can't wait to see what that is going to cost.

i wouldn't be shocked if i don't have some poems creep into my head after the phone call i had this afternoon. thankfully, it looks like it's going to be a good weekend to write.

mom surprised me with some new clothes that came in the mail today. sometimes i just mark things in the magazines she gets for shits and giggles. so, now i'm the owner of some incredibly tacky camouflage shirts, shorts and pants. and not the green kind, think more like orange, blue and pink. this is where i enjoy being a member of the sophisticated white trash.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. to my friends in the Pacific Northwest, stay hydrated.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...
