like an elephant sitting on my back

it seems like i have had a bad back forever. it is probably more like over 20 years now. i have a knot in the middle of my back that i can't get loose. warm water didn't help. stretching, ice, etc., nothing. so, today has been one of those pain management days. joy. just what i wanted 3 days before my birthday.

i did have a very good conversation with an old friend this morning. she wants to give me a birthday present. now, i just have to figure out how to get to where she lives. good times.

AEW Dynamite was very good last night.

I Can See Your Voice was good last night.

here are your NBA highlights from last night:

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be NJPW.

the New York Rangers play tonight at Las Vegas.

got some good news last night on a potential poetry project. i have a good feeling about this one. hopefully, it will be coming out in late spring (fingers fucking crossed). i have to send some more poems, which i should get around to later tonight, most likely.

we are supposed to get some snow, so i figure when it gets bad, that will be when Rite Aid texts me to let me know my prescription is ready to pick up. and considering it is the shot i take for my type 2 diabetes, i kind of have to go get it.

i should be on here tomorrow in the afternoon.

i hope everyone is staying warm and is safe.

until tomorrow kids...
