goodbye to a legend...

 i grew up in a house that whether i liked it or not, i was going to listen to Tina Turner's music. now, i didn't mind her music as i liked it and i found her to be a very beautiful woman. i was in the ice cream aisle of Kroger today when my phone started going nuts. i must have got about 40 notices at once. all of them were about Tina Turner dying at the age of 83. part of me was stunned. part of me immediately started playing her music in my head. she was an absolute legend and will be missed by millions. goodbye to the queen of rock and roll.

the New York Yankees were down 4-0 last night to Baltimore. thankfully, this team has found its spine. they roared back to tie the game at 4. they trailed again until Aaron Judge homered in the bottom of the 9th. Volpe hit a sac fly in the 10th for the win, 6-5.

part 2 of the season finale of The Voice was really just a long ass goodbye to Blake Shelton. what made it hilarious for me was when Gina Miles won the show and she was on team Niall.

i should be on here tomorrow in the morning, before my mother has her appointment with her foot doctor.
