my sister made it down here this afternoon. she brought pizza with her, so that was good. of course, she also brought rain as well, so that's not so good.
Under the Grapefruit Tree: The CC Sabathia Story was very good last night.
the baseball cards i ordered did show up today. 3 boxes of cards for $40. i had no clue what was coming. i was a little disappointed with the 1988 Donruss, only because i have so fucking many. the 1991 Fleer box was a good one, mostly because i don't have much of that. the last box was of 1991 Classic minor league cards. i wasn't very happy with that until i started seeing minor league cards of Pedro Martinez, Chipper Jones, Jeff Kent, Jim Thome, Carlos Delgado, etc. etc. i definitely got my money's worth from these cards.

Manchester United won today over Everton, 2-0. they will now play Manchester City in the semi-finals of the League Cup. i think that's in a week or so. Cavani and Martial scored the goals for United. if they were more clinical today, they might have scored 7 or 8 goals.
