sure, when i think mid-April, i was always think of snow...

when it started snowing this afternoon, i basically threw hands up in the air and just said fuck it. i knew i was going to have to go drive in it to pick up some prescriptions. oh fucking joy.

we're under a damn freeze watch or warning or some shit until tomorrow night. i figure at this rate, summer will start sometime in August. who am i kidding, it's Ohio. it will probably be back to 70 by next week. this state is really fucking good at keeping everyone sick.

here is your poetry for this day of National Poetry Month:

i did write 7 poems yesterday. i typed them up and really like them. i think i might send out a few poems next week.

the New York Yankees had both games of their doubleheader rained out yesterday. those games will be made up in June (hopefully). the Yankees start a series at home tonight against the Marlins.

Drop the Mic was pretty fucking funny last night.

the season finale of Here and Now was pretty crazy last night. the way the episode ended, i do hope there is a season 2.

Silicon Valley was funny last night.

Barry was really good last night.

Last Week Tonight was fucking hilarious.

Homeland was excellent last night.

Billions was really good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, I Am Evidence, Monday Night Raw, The Voice and Fuck, That's Delicious.

i think i waited longer in line to get the prescriptions today than it took me to drive to the grocery store and back. that gives way too much time to think and people watch and come up with some pretty weird shit in my head. but, that should shed a little light how the poems get made. you're welcome.

hopefully it will be warmer when i have to drive mom to physical therapy tomorrow.

i'm going to try to get the blog done early tomorrow. i know mom will probably want to go out to eat after her appointment.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

gracias por las amables palabras Pauline

hello anger, i remember you...

i certainly wasn't expecting Manchester United to come out and destroy West Brom today and win like 5-0 or something. i was expecting United to find a way to fucking win though. silly me. to watch United lose 1-0 to the team at the bottom of the league, a team that had won 1 of their last 31 fucking games, and in the process give Manchester City the Premier League title was... i don't know if i have the fucking words for how fucking angry i am right now. it's raining cats and dogs here, my arthritis is raging and all i want to do is drive fists through walls or come up with enough money to give United a fucking heart that exists each fucking week. i'm not even going to bother with any of the post game shit. it's all excuses anymore. not exactly how i wanted to start off this fucking day.

here is your poetry for this day of National Poetry Month:

the New York Yankees have already had game 1 of their doubleheader today at Detroit postponed by the rain. game 2 is supposed to be tonight. i doubt that happens either.

Elvis Presley: The Searcher was really good last night. i think i know more about Elvis than i ever wanted to.

Saturday Night Live was hilarious last night.

ROH was excellent last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be the season finale of Here and Now, Silicon Valley, Barry, Last Week Tonight, Homeland, Billions and Drop the Mic.

i will probably do some writing today and maybe flip between the NHL and NBA playoffs.

i'm really hoping the rain tonight doesn't change over to snow. i'm sick of this fucking shit.

i did listen last night to a special Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast about the upcoming superstar shakeup. you can find that by going here: https://soundcloud.com/srwrestling/2018-superstar-shake-up-bonus

sometimes you can have too much birthday cake...

that metaphor is my drained brain speaking about the 7 hours of wrestling i watched last night at WrestleMania. more on that in a bit. but first,

here is your poetry for this day of National Poetry Month:

WrestleMania was great in spots, really good at times, really bad at times and just a touch too long. perhaps if the match order was different, my feelings would be different. perhaps if the crowd wouldn't have been dead by the end, it would have had a completely different feel. my highlights were Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt teaming up to win the Andre the Giant battle royal. the triple threat match between The Miz, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor was excellent. Ronda Rousey was amazing last night, especially for her first match on that big of a stage. The Undertaker beating John Cena in under 5 minutes was great. Daniel Bryan wrestling again and looking great doing it was awesome. and Braun Strowman picking a child out of the crowd to be his partner and then going on to win the Raw tag team championship was hilarious. the triple threat tag team match was a complete waste of time. the New Day and Uso's have put on some classics, but WWE wasted them last night. i was shocked that Asuka lost to Charlotte, but if the streak was going to end, it should have ended at WrestleMania. the company now has to set up Ronda vs. Charlotte for the next WrestleMania. the AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura match just seemed off for some reason. the crowd felt pretty dead by this point. this was the match i was most looking forward to. what saved it from being a stinker was Shinsuke turning heel after the match. the last match was Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns. this was awful. the only thing that saved it for me was Roman bleeding at the end of the match. he was certainly wearing the crimson mask at one point. i could hear Gordon Solie's voice in my head as that was the wrestling i grew up on. it will be interesting to see what surprises are on Monday Night Raw tonight. if Vince feels like Mania was not what he was hoping for, tonight will be filled with a ton of shocks and surprises. the first one has already happened, as Brock Lesnar has re-signed with the company.

the New York Yankees scored 5 runs in the first inning yesterday. they pissed that away and lost 8-7 to Baltimore in 12 innings. the offense isn't getting any clutch hits these days. they are off today and start a series at Boston tomorrow night.

the season finale of Our Cartoon President was hilarious last night. new episodes will be back in the Summer.

Homeland was crazy last night.

Billions was excellent last night.

Here and Now was really good last night. the season finale next week should be amazing.

Barry was really good last night.

Silicon Valley was excellent last night.

Last Week Tonight was fucking great as usual.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and The Voice. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

i'm going to try to be on here in the morning tomorrow. mom has a physical therapy appointment in the afternoon.

this was the second Monday in a row that i have woke up to see snow on the fucking ground. the people that live two doors down from us just came back from Florida. i bet they are fucking thrilled.

i had to take mom to the grocery store this afternoon to get her prescriptions. we also had to get a few things that we were low on; ketchup, sweetener, etc.

i didn't make any coffee this morning since we were out of sweetener. if i make it through the shows tonight without falling asleep i'll be shocked.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

probably my favorite Sunday of the year...

this is the day where the child in me gets to really have some fun. i have been a wrestling fan since i was a little kid. and by little, i mean like from the age of 2. so today is WrestleMania 34. i have seen every single one of these. if all the matches go the way i think they could tonight, this might be one of the best ones ever.

and before i get into just how fucking brilliant NXT Takeover New Orleans was last night...

here is your poetry for this day of National Poetry Month:

NXT blew my damn mind last night. every single match told an incredible story and the wrestling was fucking insane. from one of the best ladder matches i have ever seen to the end of the incredible feud between Gargano and Ciampa.

Saturday Night Live was really good last night.

ROH was excellent last night.

the New York Rangers talked before the game yesterday like they had something to play for. and then they went out and had one of their most listless performances of this listless season. they lost to Philadelphia 5-0. i hoped that the coach would have been fired right after the game. 5 hours later, the GM finally did what had to be done. thank god this nightmare of a season is over.

the New York Yankees won 8-3 yesterday over Baltimore. they will go for the series split this afternoon.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be the season finale of Our Cartoon President, Homeland, Billions, Here and Now, Silicon Valley, Barry and Last Week Tonight.

i will be watching WrestleMania for just about the whole damn day. the pre-show starts at 5 and the main show starts at 7 and i wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing isn't over until midnight.

i suppose before that comes on i'll watch a little of the Yankees game and maybe some golf as well.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday is even better.

and then there's snow in April...

i woke up this morning to see a decent amount of snow in the grass. thankfully the pavement and sidewalks were still too warm for the snow to stick. and they are saying that by this time tomorrow, we'll be having thunderstorms. welcome to the fucking apocalypse.

here is your poetry for this day in National Poetry Month:

saw my new favorite at the bank today. one of these days i will confess to Alexis just how beautiful she is.

the New York Yankees were humming right along yesterday, up 4-1 over Toronto. then the usually steady bullpen shit the bed and gave up two massive home runs over the next 2 innings to turn a sure victory into a defeat, 7-4. the Yankees were supposed to have their home opener today, but the snow nixed that. so, they are going to try tomorrow afternoon to have the opener against Tampa Bay.

i spent a good portion of yesterday going through my records, sending out queries to all the places i had submitted to over the last year or so that i haven't heard back from. i figure if i don't hear back from someone after this query, i'll simply try to send the poems somewhere else and never bother to submit to that place again. i sent out 8 queries and heard back from two of them within a hour of sending the email. this is the job of being a poet that i wish i was rich enough that i could have that little boy that Bukowski said wrote his poems keep track of this shit for me.

Our Cartoon President was hilarious last night. the season finale next week should be great.

Homeland was fucking crazy last night.

Billions was excellent last night.

Here and Now was great last night.

Barry was really good last night.

Silicon Valley was really funny last night.

i might watch some of the national championship game tonight between Michigan and Villanova. hopefully it's as good as the women's national championship game yesterday.

i will probably be on here early tomorrow as mom has physical therapy in the afternoon. this is a pretty busy week as i have a doctor's appointment on Wednesday and mom has one with a different doctor on Thursday. good times.

welcome to national poetry month 2018

since being a poet is one of the few gifts i was given at birth (that and being a smart ass), i try to do something a little special in this blog for the month. but my ambition is usually derailed by my lack of skill with this technical shit, so it will be either a video or a link, but i do want to spotlight some poetry each day for April.

so here is your poetry for today:

the New York Yankees lost to Toronto yesterday 5-3. the demons that Betances developed last year have followed him to this year. joy. and the injuries are fucking piling up already. the Yankees still have a chance to win the series with a victory against Toronto today.

the New York Rangers won 2-1 last night at Carolina. that eliminated Carolina from having a chance to make the playoffs.

i didn't watch much of the basketball games last night. i'm not surprised that the title game tomorrow will be Michigan vs. Villanova.

Operation Odessa last night was great. probably one of the more entertaining documentaries i have seen in a long time. i highly recommend it.

ROH was excellent last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Our Cartoon President, Homeland, Billions, Here and Now, Barry, Silicon Valley and Last Week Tonight.

my sister made coffee this morning. i forgot she likes her coffee like she likes her men, black and bitter. needless to say, i'm without my caffeine today. joy.

i did watch the debut of Zlatan Ibrahimovic yesterday for the LA Galaxy. let's just say i wasn't surprised...

i think everyone is going next door for Easter today. so at least i'll be able to watch the Yankees game today in peace.

i will probably get my next batch of poems ready to go out this month at some point today. i'd like to be really productive this month.

i forgot just how much i like the taste of brandy. i was hoping those two drinks would have put me to sleep last night. instead, i was up at 3 in the morning watching some show about beavers being reintroduced into the wild and all the good they do. insomnia will eventually be the death of me.

i hope everyone had a wonderful Saturday. hopefully your Easter Sunday will be even better.

every once in a while you get to see something magical...

i was really looking forward to the match last night between the Golden Lovers vs. The Young Bucks at NJPW Strong Style Evolved. between the storytelling, the moves, the crazy ass spots... it certainly did not disappoint. the match was definitely an instant classic. the broadcast went better than what they did live last year. and i think the venue looked better on television as well. thankfully i was paying attention last night and was able to record the 20 minutes it went over past midnight. a few of the matches last night weren't that memorable, but the ones that were were fucking excellent.

the game yesterday between Duke and Kansas was as good as i thought it was going to be. i was pretty happy that Duke lost. i ended up 33-30 in this tournament. that's 1 game worse than i was last year. that's not bad considering i really didn't watch much college basketball this season, mostly because of the shitty taste that watching Dayton left in my mouth all season long.

Our Cartoon President was fucking hilarious last night.

Homeland was really good last night.

Billions was excellent last night. season 3 looks like it is going to be really good.

Here and Now was an excellent mindfuck last night. i love this show.

Barry was fucking great last night.

Silicon Valley was very funny last night.

i watched all the Sunday nights shows after wrestling last night. i think i got to bed sometime before 5 in the morning. i'm currently running on about 4 hours of sleep. joy.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Voice and The Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Washington. the Rangers called up their two first round picks for the rest of the season. hopefully the coach will really give them a chance to show what they can do.

the New York Yankees play tonight against Atlanta. 3 days until the season begins. of course, the injury bug has already popped up. fuck.

i've got to be up early tomorrow morning to take the car in to get the license plate fixed. i think mom wants them to change the oil as well. and considering the vehicle has over 225,000 miles on it, i'm sure something else will need to be fixed/replaced as well.

if that all gets done in the morning, i'm going to try to get the blog done before i take mom to her physical therapy in the afternoon. if that doesn't go as smoothly as i hope, then i'll be on here after a late lunch after mom's physical therapy session.

what i'm really hoping for is another blast of poems tomorrow. i think i have written 30 this month. i'd love to throw another high number on top of that before the month is over.

i hope everyone had a great weekend. i think i'm going to go take a nap.

after a night of drinking...

i figured i had some time last night before ROH came on, so i did some writing. i wrote 6 poems in a little under 50 minutes. i typed those up this morning. they are pretty dark and really good. i'm either going to do another round of submissions this month or maybe actually get some poems together for a book submission. time will tell i suppose.

for those of you interested, mom got an appointment on Tuesday morning to get the car all fixed up. hopefully they can get everything done in the morning as she has physical therapy in the afternoon.

i'm not really surprised that Loyola-Chicago and Michigan are in the Final Four. i think both of them were the better teams last night. today's games are Villanova vs. Texas Tech and Duke vs. Kansas. i'll probably watch most of those games.

the New York Rangers defeated Buffalo last night 5-1. the Rangers have certainly found a new, young backup goalie. he had 43 saves last night. plus, Buffalo just fucking stinks.

ROH was really good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Our Cartoon President, Homeland, Billions, Here and Now, Barry and Silicon Valley. i'll be watching NJPW: Strong Style Evolved for most of the evening.

mom said she saw a crow out in the front yard this morning. i told her that was a sign of impending doom. i have no idea if that's true, it just sounded good.

that's all for me kids. i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hopefully, your Sunday will be even better.

the horror of the Sunday paper

i know when i hear my mother tell me she's gone though the Sunday paper, if there was something she saw that she wants, and if the weather on Monday is nice, she will want to go shopping. sure enough, today was sunny and in the 50's.

at least we found most of what she was shopping for. plus, i think i have a new favorite at the bank i go to. and i was able to get gas before the fucking snow comes tomorrow night.

i believe i got 7 of the Sweet Sixteen correct this year in the NCAA tournament. given how fucking crazy this tournament has been, that's not too bad. of course 75 % of the Final Four i picked is already gone. oh well.

Our Cartoon President was fucking hilarious last night.

Here and Now was really good last night.

Homeland was very good last night.

the season finale of The Chi was excellent last night. it certainly did set up season 2 rather nicely as well.

Last Week Tonight was fucking hilarious as usual last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Voice and Arthur Miller: Writer. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

much like what has happened for most of my life, i tried to do something good today and it completely fucking backfired. i took some spray paint to make the numbers on our mailbox be a little more clear as they were starting to fade. so, right as i began to spray, a gust of wind came along and fucked everything up. i tried to wipe the paint up, which only made shit worse. so, now i've been trying to "fix" it and finally just decided to call it fucking art. i figure next time i'm out i'll be looking for some stickers or something better than paint or markers.

hard to believe tomorrow is the first day of Spring and they are talking about accumulating snow. at least mom doesn't start back to physical therapy until Thursday. hopefully by then some of it will have melted.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

i knew there was a reason i was getting a haircut today...

i just watched the team i picked to win the national championship this season (Michigan St.) lose in the NCAA tournament. never good when my brackets can't make it out of the first weekend.

a little poetry news to pass on... i did get that wild hair up my ass, it was either that or a little too much alcohol and sent out 17 poems today. 6 each to In Between Hangovers and Midnight Lane Boutique; 5 to Horror Sleaze Trash. when i hear back from these places, i will pass along the verdicts.

Manchester United advanced in the FA Cup yesterday 2-0. it was a rather listless performance. to me, it seemed like the mind fuckery going on with the coach to his players has the majority of the players afraid to fail. that's never a good thing. Lukaku and Matic scored the goals. they have played for Mourinho before, so they know his tricks. United will play Tottenham in the semifinals of the FA Cup next month.

the New York Rangers lost in OT last night against St. Louis 4-3. it does look like the kids like playing the role of spoiler.

ROH was really good last night.

Saturday Night Live was fucking hilarious last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Our Cartoon President, Homeland, the season finale of The Chi, Here and Now and Last Week Tonight.

the weather was finally nice enough today that i was able to take mom to get her haircut. i figured i would get mine done as well since i hadn't had it cut since December. as i told the lady before she started, my only hope is i look different than when i came in here. mission accomplished.

after we got done there, i had to take mom to get some cash out of the ATM. we ended up driving past where we used to live. i was pretty surprised at the amount of water damage in the area. hell, one field was still under water about a mile or so from our old farm.

i will be on here tomorrow after a trip to the bank and getting some gas. i think there's a chance of snow this coming week and then a quick warmup after that. joy.

i hope everyone had a good Saturday. hopefully your Sunday will be even better.

my brain works in the most peculiar ways...

i wrote 8 poems this afternoon while sitting in the waiting room of the doctor's office. my mother always asks me how do i come up with what i write? i always just sort of shrug my shoulders and say it's the joy of being crazy. i'll probably type up the poems tonight sometime. i think i have a few winners in this batch.

i was not impressed with the selection show yesterday for the NCAA tournament. and i certainly wasn't thrilled with some of the teams that made the tournament. i honestly don't think Oklahoma, Syracuse or Arizona St. should be in it. of course, they are big schools, which the committee will always pick over the smaller schools with better records and better teams. it's a television show after all. they are thinking of getting people to watch, not what would make for a better tournament. mom got tickets to the First Four again. so i will be watching 4 games of college basketball in the next 2 days. more on that tomorrow.

WWE Fastlane was pretty good last night. i love that Asuka is going to face Charlotte at WrestleMania. i love that Shinsuke Nakamura vs. AJ Styles is now official for WrestleMania. i didn't mind Randy Orton winning the US Championship last night. the main event last night was a bit of a clusterfuck at times, but it did tell the right story. here's hoping Kevin Owens gets to beat the shit out of Shane McMahon one day.

Our Cartoon President was hilarious last night.

Homeland was really good last night.

The Chi was fucking amazing last night. the season finale next week should be awesome.

Here and Now was excellent last night.

Last Week Tonight was fucking hilarious as always last night.

enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and The Voice. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

the New York Rangers play at home tonight against Carolina. i'm expecting another loss.

i believe the New York Yankees play the Twins tonight. i might check out some of that.

i will be on here tomorrow hopefully long before Manchester United plays in the Champions League.

i'm sure the birds are happy now...

i did remember to set the clocks before i went to sleep last night. not that i was using that damn hour for anything anyway. i think i might have slept for something close to 6 hours last night. of course, that was broken into two segments. if i get 6 hours straight it's most likely due to a coma.

i had to take mom to the store this morning. she had to return something and she needed to buy more pads. i do like it when she saves me the potential embarrassment of buying the wrong ones.

we got back in time to watch most of the A10 final between Davidson and Rhode Island. Davidson won 58-57 which basically means the A10 will get 3 teams in the tournament this year. that could also mean that Rhode Island losing could knock the coach's brother's team out of the tournament. if that happens, i will laugh my ass off tonight. one of the assistant coaches at Davidson was at Dayton for 6 seasons. so, congrats to Kevin Kuwik on his 5th straight trip to the tournament.

Saturday Night Live was very good last night.

ROH was pretty good last night.

the New York Rangers put up a good fight last night but eventually lost in a shootout to Florida 4-3. i did watch a good portion of the game as it was way more entertaining than i thought it was going to be.

the New York Yankees lost today to the Marlins 7-5. i didn't see any of the game, so i'm more or less pretending it never happened.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Our Cartoon President, Homeland, The Chi, Here and Now and Last Week Tonight. i'll be watching WWE Fastlane for most of the evening.

i will probably watch the selection show for the tournament before i start watch wrestling tonight. i'm not sure if i'm going to gung-ho to fill out a ton of brackets this year like the past. i might just fill one out for shits and giggles.

it was nice enough this morning that after breakfast, i went out and fed the birds. it's been so shitty these last few months that i haven't even bothered to go out and fill the feeders. but, the sun was out this morning and there wasn't water standing in the yard. i filled all the bird feeders, which probably means it will fucking rain and ruin half of the fucking seeds.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hopefully your Sunday will be even better.

just like the old days

i needed to take mom to the bank before her doctor's appointment today. of course, the bank is in a different county, so it was going to be interesting. we got to the bank in plenty of time but it was like no one in the place had seen a check that had two numbers to the left of a comma before. it took way longer than it should have in there. i knew my only hope to get mom to her doctor's appointment on time was to take the highway. i hated doing that because of all the fucking construction around here. thankfully, i'm a great driver under pressure. and thankfully, the winds weren't crazy enough to fuck with the SUV when i was going over 80 mph. i got mom to her 2:30 appointment on time. thankfully, this doctor has his shit together and we were in and out in about 15 minutes. after that, it was off to the sports bar.

of course, the sports bar we went to didn't have the Manchester United game on. it's probably a good thing as i turned on the game at home right after United cut the lead to 2-1. Smalling scored the first goal. Lukaku tied the game at 2-2. and then, with an absolute beauty, Matic scored the game winner in the 91st minute for the 3-2 victory. that felt like the old days a bit. that's a big win before they play those cunts from Liverpool on the weekend.

i did do some poetry work this morning after my shower. i have good idea where my next 24 poems are going. that should happen in the next few days.

Our Cartoon President was fucking hilarious last night.

Homeland was excellent last night.

The Chi was great last night.

Here and Now was really good last night.

the season finale of Divorce was much better than i was expecting.

the season finale of Crashing was excellent as well.

Last Week Tonight was fucking great last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and The Voice. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

i believe there is supposed to be some rain or a wintry mix moving in overnight. oh great. well, i didn't sleep worth a shit last night (thanks to a phone at 3 in the morning), might as well make it 2 for 2.

i didn't get to the phone in time as i had just fallen asleep. it felt like the phone was ringing in a dream. no message left and i checked the caller i.d. i know who it was, but i haven't heard back from her yet either. i figure it might have been a butt dial or it could have been the end of the world. not sure yet.

i'll be on here tomorrow sometime in the afternoon.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

blood blisters...

i felt a pain on my waistline last night as i was trying to fall asleep. i already had 3 drinks in me, so i was wondering if this pain was actual or was my imagination drunk and living it up. nothing quite like an investigation at 4 in the morning and discovering a blood blister. i decided not to pop it. i usually do that in the shower. that makes cleanup a little easier. so, i put on some ointment and was able to get nearly 3 hours of sleep. on a night where 3 drinks should have put me out for 5 or more hours. fuck life.

the Dayton Flyers won yesterday on Senior Day over George Washington 88-78. that gives them the 9th seed in the upcoming A10 Tournament. they will play VCU on Thursday. and if they somehow get past them, they will play top seeded Rhode Island next. it will take an act of god or whatever to get them to the weekend.

i had 2 people cut me off while i was trying to get out of the parking lot after the game. and then i had a woman come to a dead stop coming off the highway to make a left turn. this dumb fuck thought there was a stop sign. if i wasn't paying attention, i'm pretty sure one of us would be dead. as i told mom when i got home, well, your brakes work.

the New York Rangers won last night in Edmonton 3-2. it was the first win for their backup goalie in his NHL career. i really can't believe they are now just 3 points out of the playoffs. they play again on Tuesday at home against Winnipeg.

Saturday Night Live was fucking hilarious last night.

ROH was excellent last night.

on the DVR tonight will be Our Cartoon President, Homeland, The Chi, Here and Now, Last Week Tonight and the season finales of Crashing and Divorce.

i doubt i will watch any of the Academy Awards tonight.

i did watch some of the New York Yankees this afternoon. they finally had a game where nothing went their way. they lost to Tampa 9-1.

my sister did come down last night. she brought with her some girl scout cookies. just what a house of diabetics need. i guess she came down to help our cousin with the family tree. they went through a ton of pictures this afternoon. that's something that has never interested me. i come from a long line of drunks, crazies and assholes, or even better, all of the above. i don't need to dig any deeper.

if i'm not on here in the morning tomorrow, it will be a really late afternoon blog. mom has a doctor's appointment and i believe she wants to go out to eat afterwards. i already told her that we will be going to a sports bar since Manchester United plays on Monday afternoon.

i hope everyone had a good Saturday. hopefully your Sunday was even better.
