between the Olympics and everything else, it feels like i have a million things going on today. i swear, there aren't enough hours in the day anymore. of course, what that really means is i am getting closer to death. joy.
i did get up in time this morning to watch the USWNT take on Japan at the Olympics. i wish Japan would have played a different style for this game, but i can't blame them for sitting back as much as they did. eventually, the USA did score. Trinity Rodman is truly coming into her own in this tournament. she scored in extra time and the USA won, 1-0. they will now play the winner of Canada and Germany in the semifinals on Tuesday.
the Yankees lost last night at home to Toronto, 8-5. hopefully, they will find a way to win this afternoon.
Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both good last night. i can't wait for SummerSlam tonight on Peacock.
AEW Rampage was good last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be AEW Collision. i will be watching WWE SummerSlam for most of the evening.
Manchester United will play Liverpool tonight in South Carolina. i'll try to catch those highlights on my phone.
the USA men's basketball team won today at the Olympics against Puerto Rico, 104-83.
i did get some BioFreeze on my back this morning, so it is doing a little better so far today. i guess that will be my future. ointments, creams, ice downs and the ins and outs of misery. joy.
i hope everyone has a great Saturday.
i don't have a clue when i will be on here tomorrow.
until then...

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
so, i did notice this morning that Tony Bennett died. talk about a fucking life. he certainly put just about everything into his 96 years.
i did watch some of the Women's World Cup last night.
What We Do in the Shadows was fucking hilarious last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown and AEW Rampage. i'll watch NXT Level Up sometime tonight on Peacock.
the USWNT plays tonight in the Women's World Cup against Vietnam.
Leagues Cup starts tonight as well. i might watch some of Messi's debut with Inter Miami against Cruz Azul. Leagues Cup is the new in season tournament between the MLS and Liga MX, Mexico's top division of soccer teams. it should be rather interesting.
the Yankees start a series tonight at home against the Royals. to say i couldn't give two shits right now about them is an understatement. Trevino is now out for the season with a wrist tear that he has been trying to play through. if Judge has a setback, they might as well start trading off who they can and just play the fucking kids.
i need to get going since i still have to feed the birds, vacuum the house and make dinner.
i have no damn clue when i will be on here tomorrow.
i was up at 7 this morning. if i would have gone to bed around 10 or so, that would have been lovely. instead, i finally fell to sleep at 4:30. joy.
i put out the new solar light i got for mom yesterday. it's supposed to give off this purple color, her favorite. and considering it was 50% off, i'm hoping it works well this evening. i also put out food for the birds. figured i'd take advantage of the humidity being low this morning.
Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.
the New York Yankees defeated Boston last night, 4-2. all the scoring came in the first inning. they play a doubleheader today. i'm hoping the Yankees win both games.
the finale of Shangri-La last night was excellent. i was very interested to see what kind of damage the wildfires did to the place.
Real Time with Bill Maher was really good last night.
A Black Lady Sketch Show was fucking hilarious last night. i highly recommend it.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be NJPW and ROH.
Manchester United takes on AC Milan today in Wales. i'd love to see United win today.
the pro football hall of fame ceremonies are tonight. i might watch some of that.
i will probably watch some of the German Super Cup today as well. Borussia Dortmund takes on Bayern Munich.
i'm going to try to watch some of TripleMania XVII tonight. i believe i can find it somewhere online for free. it's the one AAA event i try to watch every year.
and somewhere between all the baseball, soccer and pro wrestling today and tonight, i'm hoping to find some more sleep.
that's all for me kids. i have a back to go ice down and a quick nap to take before United plays.
i hope everyone has a great Saturday. call if you need bail money.

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
always fun when the muse asks me a drug question in the morning. reminds me how much older i am than her, how much more experience with drugs i have than her and just how much she trusts what knowledge i do have. as i have done with everyone in my life, i will never object to you doing a drug as long as you do it responsibly. that's usually the key to being able to do the drug again and actually enjoy it. plus, the muse told me she loved me. of course, she will play it off later that she was high or only as a friend, but i will always know the truth. ha ha.
i wrote my first 5 poems of August this morning. i typed them up before i went to the grocery store. i really like the poems. i think i will probably figure out my first submissions of the month this weekend.
the New York Yankees got off to a 4-0 lead last night and then had their asses fucking kicked by Boston. Boston won the game 15-7. honestly, it didn't feel that close by the time i stopped watching. the Yankees better win tonight or i fear they are in for a massacre this weekend.
Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.
Big Brother was fucking great last night. Rachel got evicted 5-4 and couldn't believe it. Angela won the HOH. Brett is somehow is still in the house and slowly becoming a legend with another great eviction speech. easily, the best season of this show in almost a decade.
Snowfall was really good last night.
i watched more of the NFL game last night than i wanted to. i can't wait to watch the New Orleans Saints play this season.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be VICE, Major League Wrestling, Real Time with Bill Maher and Random Acts of Flyness.
the grocery store was a bit of madness today. between the pills, gas, food and alcohol, i spent somewhere around $250. joy.
i will probably be on here in the morning. i think i need to take mom to the bank to drop something off. after that, i need to swing by the local store and pickup some hamburger buns as someone forgot to tell me we where out of them.
i hope everyone has a great weekend.

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
there were over 4 1/2 hours of rain delays yesterday in the New York Yankees game. you can just imagine how thrilled i was when they lost 2-0 7 1/2 hours after the game was supposed to start. i honestly believe if i wasn't groomed to be a baseball fan from birth, i wouldn't be one today. the Yankees start a series tonight in Cleveland. it will be the first Yankees start for Sonny Gray. hopefully the offense wakes the fuck up for him tonight.
Manchester United won yesterday 2-1 over Sampdoria in Ireland. i thought the team played brilliant at times and i was thrilled at how Matic fit in in his first action of the preseason. their next game will be the UEFA Super Cup vs. Real Madrid.
i did watch most of the MLS All Star game last night. Real Madrid ended up winning on penalty kicks. the game was much better in the second half.
Big Brother only showed some of the fucking chaos that has gone on in the house this week. they didn't even show the POV ceremony last night. i figure they saved that for tonight since there won't be an eviction. Paul used the POV on Jason, leaving Jessica and Cody on the block. Jessica will use her HEX to halt the eviction tonight and there will be no eviction. so, basically, Jessica or Cody will have to win the next HOH or their asses will go right back up on the block and the only way they will be safe is to start winning some competitions. i'm hoping for some fireworks tonight.
Lucha Underground was excellent last night.
NXT was really, really good last night.
Snowfall was great last night. it reminded me just how long it's been since i was at a fucking 4th of July party.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Big Brother and The Chris Gethard Show.
i'm so out of touch seeing that i'm no longer playing fantasy football that i forgot the NFL preseason starts tonight.
if i get a wild hair up my ass today, i might go get a haircut before i take mom to her physical therapy appointment. of course, the weather plays a role in that as well. i believe we have a cold front near or my arthritis has decided to simply go to war with me finally.
that's all for me kids. until tomorrow...

i suppose if i was thinking, i wouldn't have started moving shit in the garage while wearing shorts. i cut myself while moving a filing cabinet. just a little cut on my leg. thankfully, the cold helped it clot pretty quickly. but, i got everything done in the garage, so the insulation should go smoothly on Friday.
the New York Rangers got obliterated last night by Pittsburgh 7-2. as soon as i saw the coach was starting the backup goalie again, i didn't watch past the first Penguins goal. i think the injuries have finally caught up to the Rangers when playing good teams. the boys take on Minnesota on Friday.
to cement a shitty night, i heard back from Rose Red Review on my poetry submission from October. apparently the poems were good but just didn't fit the direction of the issue. it's sort of like getting your pants down, teasing yourself and then deciding to go to sleep instead.
the season finale of Scream Queens was excellent.
the Tony Bennett special last night was much better than i thought it was going to be.
205 Live was excellent last night. Neville makes the show must watch.
Smackdown was off the charts great last night. i loved Renee Young slapping The Miz. making the world title match a triple threat next week is great, especially with Baron Corbin involved. add in some Becky Lynch trickery and all in all, it was a great show.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Lip Sync Battle, Total Divas and Lucha Underground. i'll watch NXT sometime tonight on WWE Network when i get home from the basketball game.
the Dayton Flyers take on Vanderbilt tonight at home. this a MUST win game for Dayton if they want to be playing in the NCAA tournament in March.
i'm going to the game with my sister which should be interesting. she's been with me at enough sporting events to know i'm a little bit crazy when it comes to this shit.
i decided since i was going to the grocery store today, i might as well go to the bank as well. and then i figured, i had to do the trash, i might as well start moving the shit in the garage i have to move since i'm going to be cold anyway.
i spent almost $300 at the grocery store. when mom handed me the scroll, i knew i wasn't going to have anytime to hit the liquor store up. now, most of the money was gift cards and over the counter medicine. it was me and the elderly hunting the scraps basically when it came to the Christmas ham. luckily, i found what i was looking for.
i went next door to get the trash done after i put the groceries away. my cousin's husband said that my uncle will be coming home on Friday. that should be nice, if he actually does get to come home. i know everyone would love to see him home for Christmas.
my sister came down today. she's going to go to the basketball game with me tomorrow and Friday. that should be interesting.
i did watch a good amount of The Wall last night on NBC. i could easily see this become one of those addicting game shows at night. i was rooting for the couple to lose all the money, mostly because i'm an asshole. but, having the first episode show a couple walk away with $1.3 million is a pretty good way to attract viewers.
Monday Night Raw was sort of blah for most of the night. i do love Neville as a heel. and i loved what they did with Braun Strowman at the end. having him destroy Rollins and Reigns was excellent. that sets up a very interesting top of the card on Raw now.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, WWE Smackdown, the season finale of Scream Queens and Tony Bennett celebrates 90: The Best is Yet to Come. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.
the New York Rangers play tonight at Pittsburgh. Rick Nash is out injured again. it's somewhat amazing the Rangers are playing as well as they are with so many injuries. tonight will be a stiff test for them.
i'll be on here sometime tomorrow, probably after i get done moving shit in the garage. they are going to insulate the back wall of the garage. i wish i would have known that before i put up all that shit on it. i now have posters to take down and other shit. plus move a few shelves and boxes, filing cabinets, etc. good times.
i hope this finds you well, having your Christmas shopping done and not looking to kill someone in your family.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.
