 so, might as well start off with the Ohio State game for the blog today. they defeated Texas last night, 28-14, to win the Cotton Bowl. that also puts them in the national championship game against Notre Dame on January 20th in Atlanta.

the NFL playoffs start today. Chargers at Texans and Steelers at Ravens.

the New York Rangers play at Las Vegas tonight.

i'm sure i will watch some soccer today as well as hockey, football, etc.

we did get some snow overnight. we also got a phone call at midnight last night alerting us there was a gas leak a few streets over. judging by the phone call we got at 3 in the morning, it got fixed by then.

at some point this weekend, i think i need to do my laundry.

i will probably be on here tomorrow after Manchester United plays at Arsenal in the FA Cup.

not the day i was hoping for...

i got up this morning, early for me, to go to the bank and then the drugstore. i made my deposit at the bank and then bought what i thought my mother needed and got myself some toothpaste at the drugstore. turns out, what my mother told me wasn't what she actually. she has a hard time anymore saying exactly what she wants as the words fail to come to her. so yeah, i wasn't pleased, as no store is taking any returns during the pandemic.

and then we get to the New York Rangers. i thought they started off the game better but after the first period, it all went to shit. Carolina won 4-1 and is now up 2-0 in the series. Game 3 is tomorrow night. i'm actually expecting the Rangers to lose as that might help them in the draft lottery. they could certainly use the #1 pick.

the New York Yankees swept the Red Sox last night, 9-7. Aaron Judge is on fucking fire. he hit 2 home runs last night. that's 6 in the last 5 games. they start a series with the Phillies tonight at home.

Perry Mason was excellent last night. i can't fucking wait for the season finale next week.

the series finale of I'll Be Gone in the Dark was really good last night.

Last Week Tonight was fucking BRILLIANT as usual. it should be required viewing for every ignorant fuck in this country.
