i might have got 3 hours of sleep last night. that cargo ship colliding with the bridge in Baltimore kept me up most of the night. the problem with having friends and knowing people all over the place... thankfully, no one i know was involved.
The Voice was good last night. tonight is the last night of the battles.
Monday Night Raw was excellent last night.
here are your NBA highlights from last night:

i say that because there is some rain on the way, at least that's what these old bones of mine are saying.
i had to drive mom to her bank today to deposit some checks. thankfully, they built a little satellite office one town over. so, now i won't have to drive her all the way out to the next damn county. after that, i had to drive her to her accountant so she could give him her tax info. she always likes getting them done as soon as possible. of course, she's been up the last 2 days going nuts over all the paperwork. joy.
after that, mom wanted to try the new Hardee's in town. i probably haven't ate at a Hardee's in over 20 years. we waited in the drive thru for over 20 minutes, mostly because the woman 2 cars in front of me must have ordered the whole damn menu. i swear she got 3 bags of food and 2 damn boxes. fuck me. all we got was two burgers and some onion rings. it was good, a little pricey, but good. at least there's another option in this town.
today was supposed to be opening day in MLB. i have no damn clue when sports will exist again in this country.
The Masked Singer was pretty good last night.
NXT was good last night.
AEW was excellent last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be 2 episodes of Indebted, Better Things and Cake. i'll watch NXT UK sometime tonight on WWE Network.
i was pleasantly surprised when i woke up this morning and realized there was 2 new Nine Inch Nails albums released and they were FREE. Ghosts V and V1 are both excellent. available at https://nin.com
i will probably be on here tomorrow after i get the grocery shopping done. i'm hoping i can get all of it done at the local grocery store, but i'm not counting on that.
until tomorrow kids...
stay healthy...

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
i was hoping for the best today at my doctor's appointment. sadly, that wasn't what happened. i guess my A1C skyrocketed here in the last 6 months. it's still at a range where they aren't worried (7.0) but considering 6 months ago it was 5.4, i'm a little pissed. i also had to get 2 vaccines today, which i didn't mind. i go back in a month to get the second round of the Hepatitis B vaccine; 3 months to get my A1C checked again. a 30 minute visit turned into 90 minutes. joy. mom thinks my drinking has something to do with the A1C going up. if that's the case, here's where i become the non-compliant patient.
so you might have seen all the good news with my poetry in the posts earlier today. here's the flip side. i heard back from Katie at Glintmoon on my recent poetry submission. despite enjoying what i sent, they decided to pass on the poems. that slightly pisses me off, especially since it's one of the few places i have found that actually pays. well, there's 5 more for the unpublished file.
The Voice was really good last night. it was the first night of the battle rounds.
Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night. you can definitely tell WrestleMania is getting closer...
i did watch One Nation Under Stress last night. boy, that hit fucking home. if you live in the Midwest, the whole hour or so you could only shake your head and know exactly what the fuck they were talking about.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Smackdown and The Jim Jefferies Show. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.
the USMNT plays tonight against Chile. this should be their toughest test yet under their new coach.
the New York Rangers scored the first 2 goals last night against Pittsburgh. sadly, the Penguins scored the next 5 to win 5-2.
the New York Yankees lost last night against the Nationals, 5-3. they start their season at home on Thursday against the Orioles.
i've got the trash all picked up and out to the curb, so now i just need to figure out what is for dinner.
i'll probably be on here in the afternoon tomorrow, most likely.
hope everyone is doing well.
until tomorrow kids...
Moriré con una bebida en mi mano

i woke up this morning and it was 14 degrees outside. by 5 PM, it had barely made it above freezing. and to think it is supposed to be spring. the fuckers on the tv say a warm up is coming, but throw in the caveat that it may end with some wet snow. maybe the dirty little secret this year is winter is never going to end. good times.
i did watch all of The Voice last night. Usher easily has the best team. of course, that doesn't mean he will win. i'm interested to see what the second round of battles brings. i think it makes the most sense to make sure only the best of the best makes it to the live shows.
the New York Rangers play tonight against Philly. i will be glued to that game. the Rangers are battling injuries and the flu bug and this game is a MUST win if they want to host a series in the playoffs. it's on national tv tonight in case anyone is interested. NBCSN at 8 PM.
also tonight i'm going to try to squeeze in Legit, Ali G, and Duck Dynasty. yet another night i wish i had a DVR.
i didn't do any writing last night or today. too many nerves at the moment regarding the Dayton Flyers. my mind is consumed with their game against Stanford. and my dreams are busy figuring out how they can shock the world and win the national championship. that's one thing i learned as a child; if you're going to dream you might as well dream BIG.
i ran out of nerve pills today so i'm wondering how the next few hours go. i go back to the doctor on Friday. i'd like to think i don't need them anymore but i've got a feeling that is not going to be the case.
i highly recommend the latest Sam Roberts Show Online, #95, especially if you are a wrestling fan. more than a hour with Jim Ross. all the stories and inside stuff that you haven't heard before. you can find it on iTunes, Stitcher, notsam.com and the right hand side of this blog.
that's all for me kids. off to eat a little dinner and get my mind right for some hockey. hope this finds everyone well. i'll be on here tomorrow sometime between loads of laundry.
peace...
