so, i'm starting to believe that maybe my mother's blood sugar is dropping at odd times now. the only other or i can think of is a fucking tumor of some kind and i don't want to have to cross that fucking bridge until i must. so, i tried to do the grocery shopping with all of this on my mind today. thankfully, i was able to get everything on the list and a few extras and not get charged an arm and a leg. i also got some baseball cards today. two boxes at Rite Aid for $11. there were plenty of hall of famers in both boxes, so i'm guessing the cards were worth around $20, so that made me happy.
the Yankees pissed away a 3 run lead last night and lost to the Reds, 4-3. what made it worse was it was the Yankees bullpen that pissed this away. 3 outs from a victory... hopefully, the Yankees will win tonight.
NXT was very good last night.
the season finale of Holey Moley was fucking crazy last night.
Deadliest Catch was good last night.
both episodes of What We Do in the Shadows last night were fucking hilarious.

so, NHL free agency started today. i was pretty interested to see what the New York Rangers were going to do. well, i was a little shocked that they signed Vincent Trocheck. he does fill the need for a second line center. i just hate they had to give him 7 years to get him to sign with the Rangers. they traded Nemeth to Arizona and signed two backup goalies. i can't wait to see what kind of magic Chris Drury works to get their own free agents under the cap now. all in all, i do think Trocheck will help in the short term. now, if he's still playing great 7 years from now at 36 years old, i'll be fucking thrilled.
i think mom is making some tuna for tonight. i didn't want to fire up the oven in the heat again, so i got a veggie tray that i thought we could have for dinner tonight. mom wanted to make some tuna to go along with it and i figure that will be a nice, light dinner for sure.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

the NFL playoff games yesterday were fucking crazy. but, given that Tom Brady is out of the playoffs, i am a happy boy. it is pretty amazing that this will be the first championship week in the NFL in 12 years that don't involve Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers. the Rams defeated Tampa Bay, 30-27, after they tried their hardest to blow a fucking lead. the Chiefs defeated the Bills, 42-36 in OT. that was one of the craziest fucking games i have ever seen in my 46 years of life. so, the Bengals will play at the Chiefs for the AFC Championship and the 49ers will play at the Rams for the NFC Championship. it would be pretty crazy if the Bengals and the 49ers play in the Super Bowl, especially since both times the Bengals have made it, they have lost to San Francisco.

so, i went to the bank today to deposit the money from my birthday. after that, i went to Rite Aid to get some stuff for mom. and after i got done there, i finally got my hair cut. it feels so much better now.
i should be on here tomorrow after i go to the post office to sign for some mail that they don't trust the carriers to actually deliver. i'm guessing it is from the property in Florida that sold. i haven't decided if i am going to the Dayton Flyers game tomorrow night or not. kind of depends on the weather and my bad back. good times.
