well, i had a productive Friday the 13th...

 13 happens to be my lucky number. and being a superstitious fuck, Friday the 13th has always been a day that i cherish. today was one of those days i suppose. a couple of poems published. more poems accepted for publication. and, i wrote 5 poems this morning while my mother was getting her hair done. add in a trip to the post office to mail back an autographed book to CRK and i have been quite the productive fucker.

i slept through most of the NFL game last night. the Rams won over the 49ers, 12-6.

so, i guess Anthem is fucking with me on my health insurance. they sent me a bill today for $613 for my insurance for the first month of 2025. the guy that helps me do this can't find anything as the marketplace believes i should have an income around $20,000 right now. well, i don't. so, he has to send my shit to Medicaid, which will get rejected because my mother makes too much on her social security. and once i get that rejection notice, then he should be able to get me insurance on the marketplace at a really good rate. and people wonder why people get so fucking frustrated with this shit that they do insane things. so, shit is really going to get tight around here in January. and i have absolutely no faith that i will get good insurance for next to nothing given what the government is going to look like soon.

so yeah, if there was anything to piss on my parade today, that was it.

i will probably be on here in the morning tomorrow before the New York Rangers play in the afternoon.

 so, i got up this morning at 6:50 AM. i was hoping to sleep to around 9. so much for that. the contractor hasn't called this morning, so i'm assuming he hasn't found the part he needs to make sure the dishwasher doesn't leak. god forbid the company actually call a plumber to do this. 

the New York Rangers won last night at home over Anaheim, 5-1. they play at Boston tonight.

Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both really good last night.

AEW Rampage was good last night.

it always happens around this time of year...

 it always seems like the end of the year, especially for the last few years, becomes the year of death. i woke up this morning to the news of the death of Mike Leach. he was one of my favorite college football coaches and humans on this planet. a true original who never shied away from talking about absolutely anything. he will be sadly missed. rest in peace coach.

so The Voice last night was very good. i don't know who is going to win this season, but i hope it is Morgan.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night.

the New York Rangers won last night over the Devils, 4-3 in OT. that ended the Devils 11 game road winning streak. 4 wins in a row for the Rangers, i think they have finally found a groove. hopefully.

at the World Cup today, Argentina defeated Croatia, 3-0. it was a Messi masterclass today to be honest. he is now one win away from ending the debate on who is the greatest player of all time.

NXT UK was really good last night.

mom's doctor's appointment went well yesterday, just was long as hell. it was over a hour long appointment. so afterwards, we went to Perkins to have lunch/early dinner. good times.

the New Orleans Saints coach tested positive today, so he's going to miss the Sunday night game at Tampa Bay now. joy.
