the last day of 2022

i think the rain is supposed to stop by tonight. not that i'm going out to celebrate New Year's Eve or anything. those moments are light years behind me now. trying to manage my arthritis is enough excitement for me anymore.

Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both really good last night.

AEW Rampage was good last night.

i did watch some college football last night:

so, the rain kept me up until 5 this morning. i didn't watch any of the Manchester United game since i didn't wake up until a little after 9. thankfully, they won over Wolves, 1-0.

the New York Knicks play tonight in Houston.

the Dayton Flyers play this afternoon at Davidson.

team USA plays Finland today at the World Juniors. the winner of the game will win first place in the group.

Ohio State plays Georgia tonight in the Peach Bowl. the winner of the game will play the winner of TCU vs. Michigan for the national championship.

i'm sure i will watch some other college basketball and football games today. hell, probably some hockey and soccer as well.

i should be on here tomorrow before the New Orleans Saints play.

i hope everyone has a great and safe New Year's Eve.

and may 2023 be a great year for all of us.

that late summer heat...

i always love walking outside and it feels like you just stepped into a bowl of soup. the rain we were supposed to get today hasn't happened yet. joy.

so, i didn't watch much of the Yankees game yesterday. i really don't feel like watching them when they are playing like shit. they lost to a A's team that probably couldn't beat a wet paper bag on most nights, 4-1. they start a series tonight in Anaheim against the Angels. the lead in the division is down to 7 1/2 games.
