hurry up and wait...

so, i had to go to the bank today and to Kroger to get my pills. the bank took forever. i think they had one woman working the inside and drive-thru. so, by the time i left there and got to Kroger, the pharmacy was on their lunch break. so, i decided i might as well try to remember what was on the grocery list and get it done while they were on break. i got everything i could remember (it was all but 2 items that i forgot) and then got it line at the pharmacy. checkout for the groceries was very interesting. the register wasn't taking off the right amounts on certain things. i will give the lady running it credit, she was on it. thankfully, what i got cost less than $100, and that includes my pills.

the New York Rangers won last night at home against Nashville, 4-0. they play tonight at home against the Islanders. the Rangers are 2 points out of a playoff spot.

both episodes of The Americas last night were excellent.

The White Lotus was great last night.

Last Week Tonight was BRILLIANT as usual.

Yellowjackets last night was fucking crazy.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be The Voice. i'll watch Monday Night Raw sometime tonight on Netflix.

i just downloaded the Telegram app for my phone. i imagine nothing but chaos. but, since i will have a new book out soon, i know i have to whore it around.

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

been raining cats and dogs all damn day...

today has been pretty miserable here. nothing but heavy rain. arthritis has really fucked with me since i woke up this morning. thankfully, the contractor did show up today and got a good amount of things done in the bathroom. and since mom has no appointments next week, i'm hoping it will be almost finished by this time next Friday.

so, the New York Rangers lost last night at home to Ottawa, 5-3.

here are your NBA highlights from last night:

Vice News Tonight was good last night.

Young Sheldon was pretty funny last night.

NJPW was really good last night.

today was the trade deadline for the NHL. most of the big moves happened in the past few days, but there was a couple of big trades today.

gambling has really been hit and miss the last couple of days. hopefully i will catch a few more breaks in my bets tonight and tomorrow.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown, AEW Rampage, The 12th Victim, Real Time with Bill Maher and Game Theory with Bomani Jones. i'll watch NXT Level Up sometime tonight on Peacock.

the New York Knicks play tonight at Miami.

the Dayton Flyers play tonight at Saint Louis. Dayton already has the number 2 seed in the A10 tournament, so i'm hoping they win tonight to boost their resume a bit.

hopefully, the rain won't knockout the satellite feed tonight.

i haven't looked at the rain gauge to see how much we have got today. it has to be a couple of inches easily so far.

i need to figure out what i'm making for dinner tonight.

i should be on here tomorrow in the morning before the New York Rangers play in the afternoon.

i hope everyone has a great weekend.

and here comes winter again...

well, i was glad i got the shopping done yesterday. today, winter came back. i think it was close to 40 degrees colder than yesterday was. fuck me.

the New York Rangers came from behind last night and defeated St. Louis, 5-3. that is one of those wins that gives me hope that this team has a long run in them when the playoffs come around.

AEW Dynamite was excellent last night. i about shit my pants when Tony Khan said he bought Ring of Honor. this is like the second and third biggest wrestling companies in the USA joining forces. if they do this right, it will be true competition for WWE.

mom just thought she was having a heart attack. she's not. but, i do know this is a fucking glimpse of my future now. good times.

I Can See Your Voice was good last night.

Snowfall was fucking fantastic last night.

the season (most likely series) finale of Batwoman last night was great.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Young Sheldon, United States of Al, B Positive, NJPW and Dicktown. i watched most of NXT UK this afternoon on Peacock. i guess they have changed it where you have to watch it when it is live and you have no chance to see it again. just fucking stupid.

i'm guessing at some point tomorrow mom is going to tell me what she forgot to put on the grocery list. i know i have to take her to physical therapy tomorrow. if i don't have to go shopping after that, i'll be on here most likely.

now, i need to figure out what the fuck i am making for dinner.

and the sun brings more people out...

it got into the 50's today. of course, that meant more jackasses out and about today. and of course, since other states are lifting their mask mandates, there were plenty of fuckers out today without a mask. the ignorance of the people around here is slowly driving me insane. i did get everything on the grocery list today. had to go to 4 stores to get it done... i was really disappointed at Meijer today. i was hoping to pick up some baseball cards there, but they had fucking nothing. at least the coffee mom likes was on sale...

The Voice was pretty good last night.

Young Rock was pretty funny last night.

Kenan was pretty funny as well last night.

thank god the Manchester United game was on Peacock today. if i would have busted my ass to get home to watch another fucking 0-0 game, i would have pulled my eyes out.

the New York Rangers won last night over Buffalo, 3-2. that's a big victory before their 6 game road trip.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, NXT, AEW, two episodes of Name That Tune and Snowfall.

i will hopefully be on here tomorrow before the Dayton Flyers play in the afternoon.

my mother had her first physical therapy session today. they are really focusing on her Meniere's Disease first before they start with everything else. when i got home from the grocery store, i could tell she was whipped. i think there is someone coming out tomorrow to draw some blood. better than having to drive her somewhere i guess.

so the news that floored me today was that Aaron Boone had to leave the Yankees for a few days because he needed to have a pacemaker put in. that was a bit of a HOLY SHIT while i was grocery shopping.

until tomorrow kids... i need to go get dinner started...

at least we had a little sun...

we had a pop up storm hit last night. knocked out the damn power for about 10 seconds or so, you know, long enough that all the fucking clocks had to be reset, etc. i would bitch and moan, but then i saw the tornado that ripped through Nashville last night and know it could always be worse here.

i did go to the bank today. after i made that deposit, i went to Office Depot to get some better pens. the ones i got there last time fucking sucked. i did find some good pens, a new mousepad and some other shit, all for less than $20. the store is going to close on March 21st. i told mom if she wants to make a last trip, let me know.

at least i got home before the rain started again. nothing like sitting at the computer and your body just starts to fucking ache, before you even hear the rain hit the roof. joy.

Monday Night Raw started off great last night and ended hot as well. it was all the shit in the middle that i wish was much better.

The New Pope was excellent last night. the season finale is next week.

McMillion$ was great last night. that finale is next week as well.

The Voice was good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be WWE Backstage.

the New York Rangers play tonight at home against St. Louis. i'd love to see the Rangers find a way to get something out of this game tonight.

so, i see the Democrats are once again trying to steal the nomination away from Bernie Sanders. so, that just made up my mind on whom i'm voting for. i'm down for a revolution.

i should be on here early tomorrow. it will definitely be long before Dayton plays at Rhode Island tomorrow night.

i need to get the trash picked up here and next door and hopefully do it between storms.

until tomorrow kids...

and here comes the snow...

it started snowing around 10 this morning. i believe it's supposed to stop around 10 tonight. i have no clue if it actually will though. it doesn't look like it's sticking to the road or the sidewalk, so i hope that stays like that.

the New York Rangers lost today to Washington in the shootout, 3-2. it was one of the crazier finishes i have ever seen. the Rangers backup goalie threw his stick at Ovechkin in the shootout and the on ice officials must not have seen it well enough to actually know what happened, since the officials in Toronto had to actually make the call that it was an awarded goal. just fucking crazy.

i did watch some of the MLS last night.

Saturday Night Live was really good last night.

ROH was really good last night as well.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be part 1 of Leaving Neverland, Crashing, High Maintenance, Last Week Tonight, Shameless, Black Monday, SMILF and Total Bellas.

i think mom has physical therapy tomorrow afternoon, so i'll probably be on here after that.

hopefully, i will get the first poems of March written tomorrow.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday is even better.

you ever hear a certain song on the radio...

so last night was a little weird. we got a phone call from next door saying that my uncle is now in remission. how the fuck can someone go from one day having cancer spread to the liver to being in remission in 24 hours? now, the one good thing about all of this, the doctor that told him he was in remission is the same doctor that was my stepfather's cancer doctor. so his word carries a little more weight than these other assholes in my book. so, i'm happy for my uncle, but i really hope no one thinks remission actually means cancer free.

it has been snowing here all day long. amazingly, i think we might have a 1/4 inch of accumulation. hopefully it stays that way.

NXT was really good last night. i am thrilled to see Austin Aries in NXT. too many people have no clue how fucking great he actually is. and the main event between Finn Balor and Neville was off the charts great.

Lucha Underground was amazing, as usual. the ladder match was about as violent as i have seen a ladder match be in years. plus, the awesome storytelling that comes with every episode was top notch once again.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Life in Pieces, WWE Smackdown and Baskets.

the New York Rangers play at Pittsburgh tonight. i did see that Rick Nash skated a little today in practice. he's about 2 weeks away from returning. hopefully the boys can continue to play well in his absence. tonight will be a strong test for them. hopefully i'll be enjoying a victory beer later tonight.

i've been swimming in nostalgia today in music. i happened to hear a song from The Replacements yesterday when i was driving and it has been stuck in my head ever since. one thing leads to another and i'm digging through all my music to find some songs from the 90's. you'll see it all in the music section below.

i took a long hot shower this afternoon, hoping that would help my arthritis some. i believe any relief i got is starting to wear off right now. good times.

i have no clue when i'll be on here tomorrow. i think mom has a physical therapy appointment in the afternoon. so, i'll probably be on here in the early evening or so.

i hope this finds everyone figuring out what words of praise you want to say for the three poems i got published today.
