sometimes patience can bring some luck...

mom wanted to go out to Longhorn Steakhouse after her appointment with the eye doctor. i was fine with that as it is normally pretty empty around 2 in the afternoon. well, today the place must have got slammed right before we showed up. we probably sat for almost 15 minutes or so before anyone got our drink order. by that time, we already knew everything we wanted. our waitress was very apologetic and told us our appetizer would be free. after we got our check, mom asked me how much that appetizer would have cost. i said around $12 or so. our bill was under $30. she was thrilled. another lesson in patience boys and girls.

her eye appointment went pretty well. she should know in a few days when she'll be going in for a very quick surgery on her eyes. it's basically scar tissue behind both of the lenses they put in after her cataracts were taken out. the scar tissue has a crease or fold in it that is fucking with mom's vision. so the plan is to go in with a laser and zap it away. she needs it done in both eyes, so i guess i know what part of my September will be.

the New York Yankees were behind 4-0 last night. thank god the offense woke up in time. Andujar hit a 2 run homer. Hicks hit a 2 run homer to tie it. and Neil Walker hit a pinch hit home run to defeat the White Sox in the bottom of the 9th, 5-4. hopefully the Yankees can win tonight to win the series.

Smackdown was really good last night.

205 Live was good last night.

the season finale of Miz and Mrs. was hilarious last night.

The Jim Jefferies Show was fucking great last night.

the season finale of Deadliest Catch was really good last night.

Fuck That's Delicious was great last night.

Hard Knocks was pretty good last night.

The Shop was fucking great last night. i just wish the show was longer.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Lucha Underground, Big Brother and Mr. Mercedes. i'll watch NXT sometime tonight on WWE Network.

the New Orleans Saints made a very interesting trade today:

we've had some rain move into the area here in the last hour or so. so, as you might imagine, misery has come knocking at my door.

the humidity has been fucking unrelenting the last few days.

i'm toying with the thought of taking the tracks i've done on SoundCloud and turning them into something bigger. if you know of or if there are some musicians that would like to collaborate on such a project, shoot me an email and let me know. i'd love to do something that has some drums, guitars and horns in them, along with the poems. my pie in the sky dream is to make it good enough that i have the balls to actually put it out on Bandcamp and let the world buy it and judge it. i'm sure if i was better at computers, i could probably just find all the shit online and do it, but i really prefer to have human interaction with shit like this. call me crazy or fucking old, but that's just how it is.

i'll probably be on here tomorrow, sometime in the afternoon.

me encantarĂa bailar con un hermoso diablo solo una vez en mi vida
