i hope everyone has a safe and happy halloween.
Smackdown and 205 Live were both pretty good last night.
a delightful trip into the dark mind of an evil genius or simply the musings of an asshole
i hope everyone has a safe and happy halloween.
Smackdown and 205 Live were both pretty good last night.
the sun was out today, a complete 180 from yesterday. it was windy and a little cold, but a pretty nice day for this late in October.
i had to go pick up my prescription from the pharmacy today. i decided to check and see if i could find any baseball cards at Walgreens. of course, there was none. the grocery store was fucking packed. this is why i stopped getting groceries on Fridays. mom wanted a frozen Coke from Burger King. i went there on my way home. they were only taking exact change or credit cards. that's a perfect example of 2020. using a fucking credit card at a fast food place.
i did watch most of the NFL game last night. i'm still a little shocked that Atlanta didn't find a way to blow the game.
it has been raining all damn day here. last i checked, we were at 1.1 inches. i'm sure we're probably around 2 inches by now. fuck me.
mom got sick overnight and decided to cancel her appointment with the foot doctor today. that gave me a chance to get all my baseball cards into sleeves and move a few things around to get better organized. i'm hoping it's just the rain and the normal shit with my mother. last thing i need is a fucking COVID outbreak in the house.
the season finale of Big Brother was good last night. Cody won the season by defeating Enzo 9-0. i fucking love that Cody made Nicole the last person to get evicted. he is only the second person to win unanimously.
it didn't rain today, thankfully. we're supposed to get over 2 inches of rain tomorrow. i'm guessing that is why all the grocery stores were fucking packed today. fuck.
i had to go to 4 stores to get everything, sort of. Meijer really pisses me off sometimes. their website and their store stock doesn't exactly match up most of the time. but, i did find shit comparable to what i was looking for. i did find some baseball cards at Rite Aid today. thankfully, i did get a few good cards in it.
i got home just in time to watch Manchester United play in the Champions League today. they were playing the top team in the Bundesliga, Red Bull Leipzig. considering United is 15th in the Premier League, to say i was pleasantly shocked today would be an understatement. United won 5-0 today. that alcohol is going to taste so damn good tonight.
my arthritis has been raging so damn much these last few days, i feel like i'm swimming in a heroin withdrawal. joy.
Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night.
my left knee has been killing me all day long. the joys of arthritis. fuck.
the New Orleans Saints defeated Carolina yesterday, 27-24. i thought the offense did pretty well given the number of wide receivers that are injured. the defense did just enough to win.
i'm still working on a huge mug of coffee this morning. i didn't get to sleep until 5 this morning. ah, the joys of a poet's life on the weekend. where watching porn is actually "research" and sleep is an option that no one ever fucking needs. i guess Wild Turkey had more of a say in the night than i even thought.
Manchester United played a lifeless 0-0 draw yesterday against Chelsea. the optimist in me could say well, at least they didn't lose at home or the defense played good enough for a clean sheet finally. but, i'm not a fucking optimist.
to be honest, college football hasn't been the same for me with Ohio State not playing. thankfully, that all changes today as they take on Nebraska.

one thing i hate about politics in this country is all the fucking email i get sent to me about either party. it's beyond tempting to just fucking delete them, especially since i have already voted. and no, i didn't watch the fucking debate. no, i'm not sending you money i don't have. this shit can't get over quick enough.
Big Brother went as i expected last night. Cody evicted Christmas. i guess Nicole won the first part of the final HOH of the season. that means Cody has to take on Enzo to see who faces Nicole in the final part of the HOH.
Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.
i got my mother's Christmas gifts ordered last night. i figured i needed to buy some soft sleeves on Amazon for my baseball cards and they were actually in stock. so, i decided to just get everything at once and get it over with. this way, it will be here long before any backlogs in orders, etc.
i did go out to Meijer today to look for some things for mom. i did find a couple things she wanted. then, i went over to Big Lots to get some baseball cards. i had a $10 off coupon i needed to use. i ended up spending around $40 on the cards. i think i might have broke even in total. i got two short prints from 2019 Topps Heritage and i got an Aaron Judge card that is worth a little money. all in all, not bad.
NXT last night was excellent.
i didn't get much sleep last night. i got in bed around 2 and i think the first time i saw the clock it was 3:10. fuck me. i got up and i was in pain this morning. that's the joy of having a bad back. some days, it will just fuck with you for the sake of fucking with you. i put a little ice on it late morning, after breakfast, hoping it would help before i had to do the grocery shopping. of course, when i am in a ton of pain, the ice will eventually put me to sleep. the phone rang a little after noon. i only know that because mom left the phone by her chair in the living room and the ringer is all the way up since she's basically deaf now. so, i definitely woke up from that. i would put a number on the pain around 7. and given my high tolerance for pain, 7 is around 15 for "normal" people. and that's on a scale of 1-10. so, this was how i went out into the world today.
the first grocery store was fine. i can't fucking stand white people that don't wear a mask because their leader told them they don't have to. i live in a town so far up Trump's ass, i'm bound to destroy someone just because. the second grocery store was a fucking zoo. too many people without a mask on while coughing. thank god i already got my fucking flu shot. bad enough on the way there, this fucking guy with Texas plates was doing his little Sunday drive. doing 40 in a 50. took everything i had not to run that fucker off the road. and then of course, the cheese my mother wanted needed to have a price check on it. there's 5 minutes i'll never get back. did i mention it was raining and i fucking have arthritis? these are the days where my death can't come soon enough. but it gets better.
i got home and got the groceries put away, in time to start watching some of the Champions League. and just as i kick back in my chair to ice my back, the fuckers come to finally pick up the recycling. and of course, they drop some of what was in our container in the street and leave the fucking container open, so the rain can collect in it. as i said loud enough for the dead to even fucking hear it before i left the house, i can't start killing people fast enough. i swear, if just 10% of the stupid people on this planet could be eliminated, it would be a much fucking better place.
The Voice was good last night.
we ended up with around 2 inches of rain over the last two days. not good for someone with arthritis from head to toe.
The Voice was pretty good last night.
We Are Who We Are was very good last night.
Big Brother was pretty funny last night.
Fringe Nation was a bit disturbing last night. why people are so attracted to the Nazi's is beyond fucking frustrating for me.
i did watch a little of both football games yesterday. the Chiefs defeated Buffalo 26-17 and the Cardinals destroyed the Cowboys 38-10.
enjoy some music:
