up too early on a Saturday...

 so, i got up this morning at 6:50 AM. i was hoping to sleep to around 9. so much for that. the contractor hasn't called this morning, so i'm assuming he hasn't found the part he needs to make sure the dishwasher doesn't leak. god forbid the company actually call a plumber to do this. 

the New York Rangers won last night at home over Anaheim, 5-1. they play at Boston tonight.

Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both really good last night.

AEW Rampage was good last night.

up early on a Saturday...

 so, i got up early today to get the Highlander into the dealership. i got there at 7:55. i thought that was pretty good for running behind this morning. of course, i was one of 5 vehicles that pulled in at the same time. thankfully, the Highlander was done a little before 10. and the price was lower than the estimate, so it was only around $700. 

Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both pretty good last night. i hate that they fucking changed Pete Dunne's name to Butch. and Big E breaking his neck was scary as fuck to see.

AEW Rampage was really good last night.

a change in plans...

i forgot the Yankees play a day night doubleheader today against the Red Sox. so, instead of trying to squeeze the blog in when i get home today, i'm just going to do it now.

the Yankees defeated the Angels last night, 2-1. all the runs came in the first inning. next up on the homestand is 3 games against the Red Sox. if the Yankees can somehow win all 3 games, they will be in a wildcard position by 1/2 game. hopefully, they pull it off.

Monday Night Raw was good last night. SummerSlam is this Saturday.

i'm hoping mom's doctor's appointment goes well today. i think she wants to know if she can get the injections into her spine again after her congestive heart failure. i'm hoping the doctor says yes as she is in pain every day now. between her spinal stenosis, bad left hip, arthritis and her Meniere's Disease, i can understand why she sleeps all the time and is trying to take the hardest drugs she can find around the house.

you would think the world is ending...

 it didn't rain today, thankfully. we're supposed to get over 2 inches of rain tomorrow. i'm guessing that is why all the grocery stores were fucking packed today. fuck.

i had to go to 4 stores to get everything, sort of. Meijer really pisses me off sometimes. their website and their store stock doesn't exactly match up most of the time. but, i did find shit comparable to what i was looking for. i did find some baseball cards at Rite Aid today. thankfully, i did get a few good cards in it. 

i got home just in time to watch Manchester United play in the Champions League today. they were playing the top team in the Bundesliga, Red Bull Leipzig. considering United is 15th in the Premier League, to say i was pleasantly shocked today would be an understatement. United won 5-0 today. that alcohol is going to taste so damn good tonight.

The Voice was pretty good last night.

i did get a good laugh at the Dodgers winning their first World Series since 1988 last night. mostly because Tampa lost the game relying on their bullpen too much once again.

i got 2 of my orders from Amazon.com today. so, most of my mother's Christmas gifts are here and i will be doing plenty of work on my baseball cards tonight as i got my order of soft sleeves in.
