well, this day went better than a week ago...

i joked with my mother when i got home from the store today... at least i knew where she was, which was better than last Wednesday. i feel like i have bought every fucking food on earth low in sodium in the past 6 hours. we might as well be vegetarians now... i did get everything on the grocery list today.

Young Rock was good last night.

Kenan was good last night as well.

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, NXT, AEW, two episodes of Name That Tune and two episodes of Snowfall.

the Dayton Flyers play tonight at Saint Joe's. the game is on ESPN+. i'll be way beyond pissed if Dayton loses tonight.

the New York Rangers play tonight at Philadelphia. i'd love to see them keep on winning.

the USWNT takes on Argentina tonight. hopefully they will win, just like they did against Canada and Brazil.

i did get some baseball and football cards today at Rite-Aid. i bought 2 Fairfield boxes for around $8. i think i pulled around $30 worth of cards from them both. so, that made me happy.

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. i think there are two different home health nurses coming tomorrow. so, i'm hoping to get the blog after they leave and after Manchester United plays in the Europa League.

so, i voted today...

i filled out my absentee ballot and mailed it today. my mother did the same thing. i had to buy more forever stamps today as well. after that, i took mom to get her flu shot. she decided to get it done at the local Rite Aid. of course, we came when the pharmacist was on break. so, we had to kill around 15 minutes. thankfully, she got back from her break on time and mom got her flu shot done pretty quickly. after that, she wanted some McDonalds. we went through the drive thru as i had no interest in eating out in this town. of course, after lunch, mom took a nap. i laughed. she does more than 1 thing in a day and she is dead tired.

so i guess my sister is coming down tomorrow. her and mom got into last night as my sister, since she can't shop like she wants to because of the pandemic, isn't participating in Christmas this year. i know it's one of the dumbest fucking things i have heard, but, less money i have to spend then. i told mom we'll just share gifts before she gets down here for Christmas and that's that. so yeah, can't wait to see if there are some fireworks tomorrow. my sister did tell me she found some baseball and football cards where she lives. so, i know i will be making a PayPal payment to her tomorrow at some point.

the Yankees got some good pitching last night and some timely offense and defeated Tampa, 5-1. that sets up Game 5 tonight. winner goes on to the ALCS to face Houston. loser goes home. Cole will be pitching on 3 days rest for the first time in his career for the Yankees. Tampa's starter will be going on 2 days of rest.

in a little sad Yankees news today, Whitey Ford died. The Chairman of the Board was 91.

Big Brother went as i was expecting last night. Tyler was evicted. Nicole is the new HOH.

Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.

on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown, Real Time with Bill Maher and the series finale of Room 104. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.

The King signed with the Washington Capitals today. i figured this day would come. boy. it's going to be really fucking weird to see him in that sweater. as for the Rangers, they had some minor signings for the most part. the most interesting signing was defenceman Jack Johnson. they are getting him cheap, so i like that part. most of the signings are to make sure they have players for the expansion draft coming up for Seattle soon.

Game 5 of the NBA Finals is tonight as well. i'll be slightly shocked if the Lakers don't close it out tonight.

i'm going to try to be on here early tomorrow. i'd love to have the blog done before noon when Texas and Oklahoma plays.
