mom was hoping to go out to this store a few miles away to look at some plants. i looked at her and asked if she had looked outside. she noticed it was raining. oh well.
i really hope everyone took some time today to educate yourself on Juneteenth.
the New York Yankees lost both games of the doubleheader to the Red Sox yesterday, 6-2 and 4-1. it is so easy to see right now, this team fucking sucks without Aaron Judge.
the USMNT defeated Canada last night, 2-0, to win the CONCACAF Nations League title.
VICE was very good last night.
both episodes of The Righteous Gemstones were fucking hilarious last night.

so, all the shopping i was going to get done today never happened. apparently, i needed some sleep. so, i guess i know what i will be doing tomorrow...
mom's appointment at the eye doctor went well. i think we have a better idea what has been playing a part in all her falls. i'm hoping the new glasses will help that. now, i didn't love the way they basically rushed her out of the place since we were the last appointment. they didn't even bother to give mom the chance to actually pick new frames if she wanted them. in the end, that probably saved her some money, but mom was not happy about it. i can understand. but, i also know now, never get the last appointment of the day.
Big Brother was good last night. Daniel did get evicted. Taylor is the new HOH.
NXT UK was really good last night.
NJPW was excellent last night.
the USA world juniors team defeated Switzerland last night, 7-1. they play Austria on Saturday afternoon.
enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown, AEW Rampage and Real Time with Bill Maher. i'll watch NXT Level Up sometime tonight on Peacock.
the Yankees start a series tonight at the Red Sox. i'm hopeful that the Yankees will pull their heads out of their asses and start winning again. hopefully soon.
it was cool enough today that i was actually able to open the house up a bit and let some air move through. that probably actually helped me sleep more as well.
i am going to try to be on here tomorrow before Manchester United plays.
and if i actually get my ass in gear tonight, there might be another blog post after i send some poems out.
i hope everyone has a great weekend.
and here's hoping that Salman Rushdie doesn't die tonight.

the New York Yankees won yesterday in Toronto, 4-0. they go for the sweep this afternoon.
Colorado whipped Tampa Bay last night, 7-0, to win Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final. Game 3 is Monday night in Tampa.

in a way, i'm almost happy i was never taught anything about Juneteenth in school. i say that because having educated myself on the matter, while it means the end of slavery, i know too damn well, it doesn't mean the end of oppression or the end of racism. i imagine if i would have learned about it as a child, i would be very naive to the reality of the world.
NXT UK was very good last night.
Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.
Shelter in Place with Shane Smith was very good last night.
Holey Moley was hilarious last night.
Don't was fucking stupid as hell last night.

Manchester United plays this afternoon at Tottenham. i'd love to see United get a victory today and pick up right where they left off when the shutdown hit.
i know i need to go get mom's pills, so that's all for me kids.
i may try to do some poetry work at some point today. i'd love to get some more poems out before the end of the month.

just enough rain in the area today that it feels like there's a 40 lb. gorilla trying to escape through my joints. it's one of those things that i have grown to handle (i'm laughing as i typed that) but it truly just grinds my production to a fucking halt. but, the show must go on.
a little poetry news before we get the shit show rolling...
i heard back from Nerve Cowboy on my poetry submission from January. they decided to pass on what i sent. i read the poems again and really liked them. so, i guess i'll go back to the drawing board and roll the dice again. these 5 poems will get published somewhere.
the New York Yankees lost the suspended game yesterday against the Nationals (5-3) and won the second game 4-2. they start a series tonight at home against Seattle.
Monday Night Raw was very good last night.
i woke up this morning to see Japan was up 1-0 on Colombia and Colombia was playing with 10 men. i guess that's what i get for tuning in 20 minutes late to a World Cup game. Japan ended up winning the game 2-1. Senegal upset Poland 2-1. and Russia blitzed Egypt in the second half to win the game 3-1. tomorrow Portugal plays Morocco, Uruguay takes on Saudi Arabia and Iran plays Spain.
It Will Be Chaos was very interesting to watch last night. it's one of those documentaries i wish everyone would watch.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Smackdown, The Jim Jefferies Show and Deadliest Catch. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.
i think tomorrow is supposed to be stormy as well, so i have no damn clue when i'll be on here. i know i still have the trash to pickup here and next door, and i guess i should get that done before i get caught out in a thunderstorm.
i think i can tell now when it's going to be a really bad storm. the last two thunderstorms that have come through here, five minutes before they hit, my right shoulder started to hurt. so, chalk another one up for arthritis. thankfully i got the mail before the rain came. i could tell right away when i walked out of the house, we were going to get nailed. clouds as dark as night at 2 in the afternoon are never a good thing.
the New York Yankees pissed away another lead yesterday and got swept by Oakland 4-3. that also means the lead in the division is gone as well. thank god they are off today and play tomorrow at home. of course, i just found out their top prospect in AAA needs Tommy John surgery. so much for him coming up this season and being their next third baseman. when it rains, it pours.
i picked every match on WWE Money in the Bank correctly last night. i even had the interference correct. i suppose that's not a good thing. i wasn't thrilled with the show until the main event. the match between AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Shinsuke Nakamura, Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin was spectacular. and i'm really happy they gave Baron the briefcase. they can do so much with him now in that position. that is of course if the writers actually have a fucking plan for him. the one thing i have learned over the years with WWE is so much of it is done by the seat of their pants.
Silicon Valley was hilarious last night. the season finale looks like it will be amazing next week.
Veep was great last night. the season finale next week looks great as well.
Last Week Tonight was hilarious as always.
Twin Peaks: The Return was yet another delicious mindfuck.
I'm Dying Up Here was really good last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.
i saw the news about what happened in London last night. i always find it interesting when a white person goes on an attack, he's mentally unstable. when a person of color does it, they are a terrorist. i suppose once that difference gets removed from society, we will finally be a step closer to racial equality. although, i doubt i see it happening in my lifetime.
i did watch Germany beat Australia in the Confederations Cup today, 3-2. finally, i get to enjoy some alcohol tonight.
i hope everyone had a great weekend. at the very least, i hope your weekend was better than mine.
mom has two appointments i have to drive her to tomorrow, back doctor and eye doctor. i imagine i will be back on here sometime after all that is over.

another day, another afternoon adventure. i believe this is my mother's way to slowly work me back into society. i feel like i am more comfortable in public but, fuck i miss my afternoon naps. today we went to Menards to get some shit that mom needed. she didn't find what she was looking for but got something anyway. it is heavy as fuck and guess who gets to put it together. and this is where my hatred for my father is the strongest as he taught me absolutely nothing as a child about tools, putting shit together, etc. so, this is simply an argument waiting to happen. good times.
after that, we went to lunch. i had a sandwich and fries and the absolute weakest lemonade i have ever tasted in my life. it was more water with lemon that anything. at least the sandwich was good.
at the grocery store, it appeared like since they were doing some reconstructing, they were testing the fire alarms. you can imagine with my mother's disease how happy she was at this. while we were walking around, i did catch eyes with this stunning black girl. that was the problem though, she had jail bait written all over her. i felt like giving her my card and telling her to call me in 4 years or so.
once we got home, i had 86 fucking emails to go through. seeing what little money i make is from online surveys, i have to go through each and every fucking email. tedious would be an understatement. at least dinner was excellent tonight.
enjoy a quick music break:
Smackdown last night was excellent. i really enjoyed the match between Cesaro and Kevin Owens.
enjoy the top ten highlights from the show:
The Comedians last night was excellent. next week is the season finale.
here is some funny shit from last night:
the New York Yankees offense came alive last night as they beat the Marlins 9-4. that split the series with them as they start a series with the Tigers tonight. they are currently tied in the 2nd inning. Alex Rodriguez got his 3,000th hit in the first inning tonight by hitting a HR. figures, he did it just like Jeter. hopefully i will be enjoying a victory beer tonight.
i figure i will be flipping between baseball tonight and god knows what else. i'd love to get the ROH ppv tonight but i'm being a cheap ass tonight.
speaking of being a cheap ass, if anyone would like to get ANYTHING from my Amazon.com wishlist for me, you are more than welcome to do so. there are plenty of items on it that are just a few bucks. a sure way to win my love forever. you can find my wishlist on the right hand side of this blog.
i'm sick of the fucking rain. and whenever the damn sun comes out, the whole area turns into a damn sauna. and my frustration is boiling over with the fucking squirrels. i'm at the point where i'm going to start poisoning the little flying rats.
that's all for me today kids. i hope everyone has a great weekend. i'm hoping to get shit done this weekend. hopefully my arthritis allows it. have a drink on me kids.
