i guess i needed some sleep...

 so, all the shopping i was going to get done today never happened. apparently, i needed some sleep. so, i guess i know what i will be doing tomorrow...

mom's appointment at the eye doctor went well. i think we have a better idea what has been playing a part in all her falls. i'm hoping the new glasses will help that. now, i didn't love the way they basically rushed her out of the place since we were the last appointment. they didn't even bother to give mom the chance to actually pick new frames if she wanted them. in the end, that probably saved her some money, but mom was not happy about it. i can understand. but, i also know now, never get the last appointment of the day.

Big Brother was good last night. Daniel did get evicted. Taylor is the new HOH.

NXT UK was really good last night.

NJPW was excellent last night.

the USA world juniors team defeated Switzerland last night, 7-1. they play Austria on Saturday afternoon.

on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown, AEW Rampage and Real Time with Bill Maher. i'll watch NXT Level Up sometime tonight on Peacock.

the Yankees start a series tonight at the Red Sox. i'm hopeful that the Yankees will pull their heads out of their asses and start winning again. hopefully soon.

it was cool enough today that i was actually able to open the house up a bit and let some air move through. that probably actually helped me sleep more as well.

i am going to try to be on here tomorrow before Manchester United plays.

and if i actually get my ass in gear tonight, there might be another blog post after i send some poems out.

i hope everyone has a great weekend.

and here's hoping that Salman Rushdie doesn't die tonight.
