one of those days where the back just won't cooperate with me...

 thankfully, it doesn't happen too often, but i do have days where no matter how much i stretch or ice or whatever, my back won't loosen up for anything. these become the days where i slip down a rabbit hole on YouTube and just waste the hours away. fun times.

i did write 4 poems yesterday while mom was doing her physical therapy. i typed those up and really liked them. i will hopefully do a little writing this weekend as well.

the New York Yankees lost the first game of the doubleheader against the White Sox yesterday, 6-5. they won the second game, 3-0. they start a series tonight at home against Boston.

i guess i needed some sleep...

 so, all the shopping i was going to get done today never happened. apparently, i needed some sleep. so, i guess i know what i will be doing tomorrow...

mom's appointment at the eye doctor went well. i think we have a better idea what has been playing a part in all her falls. i'm hoping the new glasses will help that. now, i didn't love the way they basically rushed her out of the place since we were the last appointment. they didn't even bother to give mom the chance to actually pick new frames if she wanted them. in the end, that probably saved her some money, but mom was not happy about it. i can understand. but, i also know now, never get the last appointment of the day.

Big Brother was good last night. Daniel did get evicted. Taylor is the new HOH.

NXT UK was really good last night.

NJPW was excellent last night.

the USA world juniors team defeated Switzerland last night, 7-1. they play Austria on Saturday afternoon.

it was cool enough today that i was actually able to open the house up a bit and let some air move through. that probably actually helped me sleep more as well.

feel like a zombie...

 so, i guess i needed some sleep. 3 hours just wasn't going to cut it for today. i didn't get to bed until 6:30 this morning. i was up a little before 9:30. did my usual morning shit, got the Christmas cards into the mailbox, had breakfast and went to my massage chair. next thing i know, i was waking up and it was 4 in the afternoon. 3 of you getting Christmas cards from me this year will have yours mailed out tomorrow. i love a rural post office that closes a little after 4. but, since i have to get bloodwork done at 8:45 in the morning tomorrow, i know i will get to a post office on time then. good times.

i didn't get any writing done yesterday. it started to rain like the world was ending last night and my arthritis decided it was time for a bender. joy.

so, the plan for tomorrow is to get my blood drawn. then, go to the post office. and then i get to have breakfast and will hopefully get some poems written. and oh by the way, it is supposed to snow tomorrow. good times.
