oh, hello frustration, there you are...

being a Type 2 diabetic is already frustrating enough. and then i started using the drug Trulicity, and i lost a little weight, my numbers started getting better, etc. so, of course, once the rich found out that these drugs actually worked on losing weight, they started hoarding them. now, the manufacturer has no Trulicity. i haven't had it for almost a month now. i know any progress i made on my A1C is lost now. Friday will be the actual acknowledgement of that. i can't wait to see what drug they are going to try to put me on next. mom told me not to worry about the cost. i laughed as i know all the money spent now will be money that won't be there when she dies and i'll need it. as i joked with her yesterday at her doctor's appointment when she asked what i wanted to do with all this and my immediate response was die. i told her if you actually look at all this logically, my death clears most of this shit up. and no one would have to worry about my A1C if i'm dead. she told me to stop it, but i could see in her eyes, she knew i was right. so yeah, should be a really fucking fun summer. and don't worry, i definitely have no plans to die before my new book with C. Renee Kiser comes out. after that though...

happy Juneteenth 2021...

it rained all of last night. i couldn't find a comfortable spot in bed for the life of me. i checked the rain gauge this morning and it was over 3.1 inches. fuck me. we did have some tornadoes in the area last night. one to the north of us, one to the east and i think two to the south. the satellite was out for a good portion of the night, but thankfully i only missed some of Smackdown.

i got to see most of the Hell in a Cell match between Rey Mysterio and Roman Reigns. from the highlights i saw, i really didn't miss much from the rest of the show.

205 Live was good last night.

AEW was really good last night.

Pause with Sam Jay was excellent last night. the season finale is next week.

Real Time with Bill Maher was very funny last night.

Betty was excellent last night.

here are your highlights from the NBA playoffs last night:

here are your highlights from the NHL playoffs last night.

the Yankees lost to Oakland last night, 5-3. they are currently losing again, 4-1 in the top of the 5th. joy.

i did watch most of the Euro 2020 games so far today. i'll watch Spain and Poland when i get done with this. Hungary shocked France this morning with a 1-1 draw. CR7 finally scored against Germany, but it wasn't nearly enough as Germany won 4-2 over Portugal.

by the time the satellite came back on last night, the Copa America was already over with. Argentina defeated Uruguay 1-0.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be ROH.

i'm sure i will watch some of the NHL and NBA playoffs tonight as well.

happy Juneteenth...

if you don't know what i am talking about, please crawl out from the rock you are living under and educate your ignorant ass so the world could possibly be a better place.

in a way, i'm almost happy i was never taught anything about Juneteenth in school. i say that because having educated myself on the matter, while it means the end of slavery, i know too damn well, it doesn't mean the end of oppression or the end of racism. i imagine if i would have learned about it as a child, i would be very naive to the reality of the world.

NXT UK was very good last night.

Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.

Shelter in Place with Shane Smith was very good last night.

Holey Moley was hilarious last night.

Don't was fucking stupid as hell last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown and Real Time with Bill Maher.

Manchester United plays this afternoon at Tottenham. i'd love to see United get a victory today and pick up right where they left off when the shutdown hit.

i know i need to go get mom's pills, so that's all for me kids.

i may try to do some poetry work at some point today. i'd love to get some more poems out before the end of the month.

i wish everyone a great weekend. celebrate and honor and educate while always remembering your rights.

until tomorrow kids...

fuck racism.

fuck hatred.

fuck oppression.

fuck fascism.

fuck segregation.

fuck the police.

stay healthy.

my brain is somewhere around 25, my body is nearing death...

i wanted to write this blog in the morning, but of course, between arthritis, apathy and just pure fucking pain, i didn't get out of bed until 10. that left really no time since i had to get ready to take mom to her doctor's appointment. that appointment is about a 45 minute drive. joy. and of course, between the tornado damage and construction, everything around here is a clusterfuck. thankfully, i took the right back roads and got her down there on time.

i don't think she met any doctors today, more like a nurse practitioner. this one was like a dream woman, tattoos everywhere and stunning, i mean fucking stunning eyes. i was hoping she was going to pick up on the vibe i was putting out. of course, that never happened. the appointment went really well. after that, mom wanted to go to lunch at Rusty Bucket. they were a little crowded, but not too bad. the food was excellent as always. the drive home was a bit of a drag, mostly because of fucking horrible drivers and the heat. of course, now i feel it is raining again.

i got home in time to watch the rest of the Yankees game and some of the Women's World Cup.

the Yankees won last night over the Rays, 6-3. this afternoon, they completed the sweep, defeating Tampa Bay 12-1. that victory was CC's 250th of his career. it also means the Yankees are 3 1/2 games up in the division now. they start a series with Houston tomorrow night.

the USMNT won last night, 4-0 over Guyana. when it was only 1-0 at halftime, i was not happy. i was a little more pleased by the end of the game.

Smackdown was pretty good last night, as was 205 Live.

Deadliest Catch was really good last night.

Songland was excellent last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and The Wrestlers. i'll watch NXT and NXT UK sometime tonight on WWE Network.

here are your scores from the Women's World Cup:
England defeated Japan 2-0 and Scotland vs. Argentina finished 3-3.

in the Gold Cup last night, Panama defeated Trinidad & Tobago 2-0. tonight, Cuba takes on Martinique and Canada plays Mexico.

i hope everyone had a good Juneteenth. if you don't know what that is, please educate yourself and stop being fucking stupid.
