actually saw some snow this morning...

it was kind of funny this morning. i opened the garage door to go down and get the paper and there was the UPS driver walking up the driveway. i think we were both surprised to see each other.

it snowed a little this morning. nothing stuck but it was nice to see some flurries at least 8 days before Christmas.

Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both really good last night.

AEW Rampage was excellent last night.

Young Rock was pretty funny last night.

both episodes of Random Acts of Flyness were beautifully strange last night. next week is the season finale.

enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Saturday Night Live and WWE Tribute to the Troops.

the New York Knicks won last night in Chicago, 114-91.

the New York Rangers play tonight in Philadelphia. hopefully they will keep their winning streak going.

i was up in time to watch the 3rd place game today at the World Cup. Croatia defeated Morocco, 2-1.

i'm sure i will watch some of the NFL games today as well as some college basketball and football. and sometime today i will get my mother's Christmas gifts wrapped. and i need to vacuum the house. and i think i need to do my mother's laundry as well. so yeah, just another boring weekend.

Real Time with Bill Maher was very good last night.

Painting with John was great last night.

both episodes of Hip Hop Uncovered were excellent last night.

the New York Rangers lost to Boston last night, 1-0. the boys showed plenty of fight last night, but they can't score worth a shit this season.

the worm has turned...

when the New Orleans Saints got down 14-0 yesterday, i wasn't happy. thankfully, the team woke up in the second quarter and showed just how dangerous they can be in the playoffs. Michael Thomas set the NFL record for receptions in a season. he still has a game to go. the Saints won 38-28. right now, they are the 2 seed in the NFC playoffs. hopefully, the Vikings beat the Packers tonight and the Saints will be one step closer to that #1 seed.

the New York Rangers ended their losing streak yesterday with a dominating 5-1 win over Anaheim. they play tonight at Philadelphia.

Dublin Murders was excellent last night. the season finale is next week.

Ray Donovan was very good last night.

Shameless was fucking hilarious last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Monday Night Raw.

i'll be at the Dayton Flyers game tonight. they are playing Grambling State. hopefully, Dayton wins big tonight.

i did listen to episode 270 of Notsam Wrestling this morning. you can find that by going here:

mom has physical therapy this afternoon. i will probably write a few poems while i'm there.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

Happy Christmas Eve Eve

no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. i think my sister is supposed to get down here in the evening of Christmas Eve. she leaves Christmas day because she has to work the next day.

i'm off to go ice down my back and get ready to take mom to her physical therapy.

exhausted and happy

like an old man, i fell asleep before 10 last night. i woke up at 11:30 and for some fucking reason, felt refreshed. i might have slept a few hours here and there the rest of the night because i knew what was coming in the morning. i made sure i got a good breakfast in me and tried my best to loosen my back up because i knew i was in for some tension.

USA vs. Russia. Olympic hockey. in Russia. if you didn't get to see the game, you missed out. if saw the game and weren't excited, i'll ask you to please die now. as for the rest of us, what a fucking game. i was completely fucking exhausted by the end of it. and i do hope T.J. Oshie never has to buy a drink in this country again. a big 3-2 win in an instant classic shootout. and the best part, doing it all in front of Putin and shutting a crowd the fuck up. now, i hope the USA have it out of their system, for they have to go out tomorrow morning and win the group. and it won't be easy.

after that, i checked out some FA Cup action and some more hockey in the Olympics, but mostly got some more sleep. hopefully that means i'll be able to stay up tonight for ROH.

thankfully, we got plowed out this morning. we probably got close to 5 inches. i truly felt like shit watching my mom try to shovel it. i offered to do it but she doesn't want me to injure myself more. of course, the guy that plowed us out told my mom he was planning on doing it. if he would have got here 5 minutes sooner, he would have. but mom was thankful as she needed to get to the store.

i imagine i will be watching some of the dunk contest and the three point shooting contest tonight for the NBA All-Star weekend festivities. and some of the college basketball games as well. all while sipping on a victory beer. i think NBC is going to show the shootout when they start their Olympic coverage tonight. i'll happily be watching that again.

that is pretty much all for today. i hope this finds everyone well. i'll be on here tomorrow after (hopefully) another team USA win in hockey.

peace and chicken grease.

some days just bleed together

i was up way too late last night and up way too early this morning. needless to say, i feel like i have been in a damn fog for the last 18 hours or so.

first off, i did send out 12 poems today. 6 to ZYX and 3 each to Dead Snakes and The Camel Saloon. when i hear back from these places i will pass along the verdicts.

i did watch most of the New York Rangers 4-1 loss last night. too many fucking mistakes, too many defensive lapses, too many mind cramps, and way too soft at times. a thank you to Rick Nash for dropping the gloves last night when none of his pussy teammates would. mostly, a thank you for the 5 penalty minutes. much needed for my fantasy team. hopefully they get Captain Cally back by Monday and figure some shit out or the 9 game road trip to start the season could be really fucking ugly.

The Big Bang Theory was hilarious last night. really great writing. nothing else really struck me as funny on television last night.

i did watch a good portion of the NFL game last night. i picked the right team to win but i didn't care for how they won. i'm now 41 points behind in fantasy football. that's a big fucking hole to climb out of. especially when your QB is facing the best defense in the league. so much for my momentum from last week.

i actually had to turn on the A/C today. first week of October and it's in the mid 80's. fucking ridiculous.

not sure what i'm watching this evening. i might just turn on some baseball so i can fall asleep.

i'll be back on here after the Manchester United game tomorrow afternoon. if they lose again, expect a rant that might get me banned from the internet for life.

hope everyone has a great weekend. or at least a better one than the assholes you hate.
