absolutely stunned...

so, i woke up this morning, took my pill that i have to take when i wake up; checked my phone before i took my blood sugar. that was when i first saw the tragic news out of the NHL this morning. i quickly checked a couple different places and i couldn't believe my eyes. Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew were killed last night in New Jersey when they were hit by a drunk driver while they were on their bicycles. as i dug deeper into the story, it got even worse. they were in New Jersey for their sister's wedding as they were both going to be groomsmen. add in that Johnny just had his birthday 16 days ago and Matthew's wife is pregnant, holy fuck. i have been somewhat numb all fucking day after that.

today was deadline day for Manchester United and all of Europe. United got a few deals done that made me pretty damn happy.

Big Brother was good last night. sadly, Tucker was evicted. Quinn is the new HOH.

NJPW was really good last night.

i will probably be on here tomorrow in the morning as WWE Bash in Berlin will be starting at 11 AM.

i need to go figure out dinner tonight, so that's all for me kids.

oh, by the way, i did write 2 poems last night. so, maybe i will get some poems out before September gets here.

fog every morning, like a certain horror movie, etc...

for like the last three mornings, fog has appeared before the sun does. i didn't know i was suddenly living in a Stephen King novel.

so, i did go out shopping today. i bought some baseball cards at Big Lots since they didn't have anything i was actually looking for. i had a coupon, so i got 5 packs for a little over $16. amazingly, i got two numbered cards in those packs. with those two and the rookies i got, there is probably around $30 worth of cards in it. that made me happy. i resisted getting any baseball cards at Meijer as everything was way overpriced. i did find some cool Halloween towels for the kitchen there. i'm hoping the iced tea i got my mother is the right one. she never texted me back when i asked her, so i got it anyway and will just hope.

so, i guess Vice News Tonight is going to only be on Tuesdays and Wednesdays now, but the show is going to increase to a hour long each night. i'm just happy the show isn't going away completely. it is the only news show i watch.

so i completely forgot that the new season of Batwoman was starting last night. thankfully, i was able to find the episode this morning and watched it. holy shit, looks like it is going to be a crazy final season.

The Masked Singer last night was crazy, as usual.

Alter Ego was good last night.

American Horror Story: Double Feature was great last night. the season finale is next week.

when the USMNT got scored on early last night against Costa Rica, i wasn't happy. the fact that the youngest team the USA has ever put out in a World Cup qualifying game came back to win 2-1... that made me very happy.

the New York Rangers had their asses handed to them last night, losing to Washington, 5-1. i'm really hoping the boys play better tonight in the home opener against Dallas.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Young Sheldon, United States of Al, B Positive, Cake, Dark Side of the Ring and What We Do in the Shadows. i already watched NXT UK this afternoon. it was excellent.

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. i'm hoping to do a little writing tomorrow and probably my laundry. i get the feeling it is going to be rainy tomorrow, so i already know my body will be feeling miserable.

saw the Yankees started cleaning house when it comes to the coaching staff. hopefully, they don't forget to let the manager know he can leave as well.

it is so good to have hockey back. i do like how it looks so far on ESPN and TNT.

surrounded by death...

so, my aunt (and next door neighbor) died last night. it wasn't a surprise for any of us as her health had really gotten bad the last few weeks. the surprise was she had decided years ago to be cremated and never told anyone. that gave me a little laugh today. thanks for the laughs Ethel, at least you lived long enough to watch Trump lose.

my doctor visit went well today. my A1C was down. my weight was down. my blood pressure was perfect. best part, i think i was there for less than 30 minutes.

so, when i got out to the Highlander, i saw that Manchester United was up 1-0 against AC Milan in the Europa League. of course, by the time i got home, the final score was 1-1 as AC Milan scored the crucial away goal in the 92nd minute. fuck me.

the Yankees won today over the Phillies, 6-1. they defeated the Pirates last night, 6-5.

NXT was very good last night.

AEW was very good last night as well.

Snowfall was excellent last night.

The Masked Singer looks like it is going to be fucking crazy this season.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Young Sheldon, B Positive, Clarice, Desus & Mero and two episodes of Cake. i watched NXT UK this afternoon. it was really good.

the New York Rangers play tonight at Boston. hopefully, they'll find a way to get a victory tonight. i'm not holding my breath though.

to top off everything today, it's fucking raining. these are the days i recall a dream i had as a teenager about living with a morphine drip permanently attached at all times.

i did a little baseball card shopping in the last 24 hours, all online. i have some shit coming from Walk Off Wax, Repacked Wax and Topps.com. hopefully, i'll get some really good cards in those. i know the card i am getting from Topps.com. i couldn't resist a Don Mattingly card designed by Action Bronson. it is part of the Topps Project70. my Walk Off Wax order has already shipped. i also got some football cards with the order from Repacked Wax.

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. i don't think i have any appointments to take mom to, so hopefully it will be a quiet Friday where nobody dies.

i do think i'll finally be eligible to get the COVID vaccine tomorrow. they are finally allowing people with Type 2 diabetes to get it.

that's all for me kids.

i'm still amazed god hates me as much as i hate myself...

i should have known exactly what today was going to be like when i pulled into the driveway from the grocery store this morning and there was the cousin that molested me waving at me. it's one thing to accept the pain, it's another to try to withstand constant torture and pretend death wouldn't be the better option. needless to say, the poems didn't get sent out today.

i did go to the grocery store early this morning. of course, they didn't have everything i needed. so, i had to go to the grocery store in town to get my bread and some things mom wanted from the deli. mom didn't like the dinner she made last night, so i'm now in charge of making all meals. she acted like she was depressed about it, but i think it was just a simple ploy to get out of doing anything for awhile. of course, she did something to her horrific back again. i can't wait for her to get another injection later this month.

World Cup Update:
so, i didn't get back from the second store until halftime of the France vs. Uruguay game. mom said France had scored as soon as i left to go to the local grocery store. figures. France scored again in the second half and won the game 2-0. i did watch all of Brazil vs. Belgium. Belgium outplayed Brazil for the majority of the game, although Brazil made it interesting late. Belgium won 2-1. that means the first semifinals is set. France vs. Belgium. that will happen on Tuesday. tomorrow, Sweden plays England and Russia takes on Croatia.

Big Brother was pretty good last night. when the cast realizes that Steve is a former undercover cop and not a mechanic, they will know they did the right thing voting him out first. Kaitlyn won HOH. she is bat shit crazy, so it should be an entertaining week.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be VICE, NJPW and Major League Wrestling.

i either got too much sun this morning or something i ate has declared war on me as i have spent most of this afternoon sitting on the shitter. i don't mind when a poem or two arises from these situations. but, when it's agony that comes instead of poetry... not good.

the New York Yankees start a series tonight in Toronto. i'd love to see them go on a long winning streak before the All-Star break starts.

i will probably be on here tomorrow sometime in the afternoon. the weather is supposed to finally break here and be somewhat decent. so, i might actually get out and feed the birds for a change.

i hope everyone has a great weekend.

my hatred for life will only grow from here...

today was maybe one of the greatest examples of why i hate humans and why i hate technology. now, add those 2 together and you can just imagine the fuck ups that could happen. we were in the grocery store line for probably 20 fucking minutes longer than was needed as mom noticed that the cash register didn't print out the right price for the two liters we got. we bought 4 and they were supposed to be 88 cents each, if you bought 4. they weren't ringing up that way. the cashier called over another cashier, who walked back to make sure we weren't lying about the promotion. that pissed me the fuck off. mind you, this was near 4 in the afternoon and we got to the store before 2 in the afternoon. i made the mistake of not eating lunch before i went to the grocery store. so, the second cashier then went and got a manager. now, the manager simply rung all 4 things up and coded them correctly, so the right price would show up. and then my mom turns around and pays with a fucking check. insert shotgun, say goodbye to the world. i was probably a good 20 miles over the speed limit the entire way home. that included when i was driving by the police cruiser. good thing it was the first of the month. no need to meet their quota just yet. and if a cop ever tells you that's a lie, trust me, that's a secret they don't want the general public to know. good thing i shaved and showered today. who wants to stink while being pissed off.

the New York Yankees were rained out last night in Baltimore. that game will be made up as a doubleheader in July. hopefully, they will get the game tonight in.

Vice News Tonight had yet another great week of shows.

here are your highlights from Game 1 of the NBA Finals last night. i still don't know what the fuck J.R. Smith was thinking at the end of regulation.

a big thank you to everyone who has given to Debbie Kirk's fight against breast cancer. if you would like to donate, please go here: https://www.gofundme.com/5m0wfqg

also, a big thank you to everyone for the very kind comments on the poems published this morning at Synchronized Chaos. i really do appreciate them.

that's all for me kids. i have lost time to go make up.

when the thunder rattles the whole house...

i started aching sometime before midnight. i asked mom when was the rain supposed to begin. she said right about now. so, at least i know my body is receptive still. i probably didn't fall asleep until 4 in the morning. i might have got 4 hours of sleep by the time i got out of bed. mom asked me if the thunder that shook the whole house woke me up? i said yes, having no damn clue what she was talking about. she said it was loud enough to wake the dead. i laughed, as i must have slept right through it. so, at least i know when i do sleep, i get a good 1 to 3 hours of deep sleep. joy.

all this rain we're getting at the moment (2.6 inches so far this morning, i'm sure it's over 3 inches by now) is headed northeast. i'm sure that means they will have a hard time getting the New York Yankees home opener in this afternoon. i hope i am wrong.

here is your poetry for this day of National Poetry Month:

The Voice was really good last night.

mom just cancelled her physical therapy for this afternoon. her arthritis is so bad she can barely move right now. i just checked the rain gauge again and there was another 1.5 inches in it. that's 4.1 inches in less than 12 hours with more on the way. our front yard is starting look like a pond.

Monday Night Raw was excellent last night. i really like the way they have gone into WrestleMania this year.

King in the Wilderness last night was brilliant. the first 5 minutes of the documentary was like a punch right to the gut. it's hard to believe it's been damn near 50 years since he was assassinated. i highly recommend everyone go out of their way to see this one.

i didn't watch much of Villanova's victory over Michigan last night, 79-62. mom had picked Villanova to win the title when she filled out her bracket. i didn't bother to count her wins and losses. i really didn't want to know that she did better than me this year.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Smackdown, The Voice, The Chris Gethard Show, The Jim Jefferies Show and Deadliest Catch. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.

of course, if the storms persist all damn day and night, i have no clue how much of that will actually record.

the New York Rangers play at New Jersey tonight. it would actually benefit the Rangers to win tonight. if they could keep New Jersey from making the playoffs, that second round pick of New Jersey's that the Rangers got in the Grabner trade would be much better than what it would be if they make the playoffs. of course, i'm not expecting the Rangers to win tonight.

and since my afternoon is now suddenly free, i will probably spend a good portion of the afternoon figuring out where my next batch of poems will be going to.

that's all for me kids.

i'll be on here tomorrow after my doctor's appointment.

debe ser el final de los días
