so, my aunt (and next door neighbor) died last night. it wasn't a surprise for any of us as her health had really gotten bad the last few weeks. the surprise was she had decided years ago to be cremated and never told anyone. that gave me a little laugh today. thanks for the laughs Ethel, at least you lived long enough to watch Trump lose.
my doctor visit went well today. my A1C was down. my weight was down. my blood pressure was perfect. best part, i think i was there for less than 30 minutes.
so, when i got out to the Highlander, i saw that Manchester United was up 1-0 against AC Milan in the Europa League. of course, by the time i got home, the final score was 1-1 as AC Milan scored the crucial away goal in the 92nd minute. fuck me.
the Yankees won today over the Phillies, 6-1. they defeated the Pirates last night, 6-5.
NXT was very good last night.
AEW was very good last night as well.
Snowfall was excellent last night.
The Masked Singer looks like it is going to be fucking crazy this season.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Young Sheldon, B Positive, Clarice, Desus & Mero and two episodes of Cake. i watched NXT UK this afternoon. it was really good.
the New York Rangers play tonight at Boston. hopefully, they'll find a way to get a victory tonight. i'm not holding my breath though.
to top off everything today, it's fucking raining. these are the days i recall a dream i had as a teenager about living with a morphine drip permanently attached at all times.
i did a little baseball card shopping in the last 24 hours, all online. i have some shit coming from Walk Off Wax, Repacked Wax and Topps.com. hopefully, i'll get some really good cards in those. i know the card i am getting from Topps.com. i couldn't resist a Don Mattingly card designed by Action Bronson. it is part of the Topps Project70. my Walk Off Wax order has already shipped. i also got some football cards with the order from Repacked Wax.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. i don't think i have any appointments to take mom to, so hopefully it will be a quiet Friday where nobody dies.
i do think i'll finally be eligible to get the COVID vaccine tomorrow. they are finally allowing people with Type 2 diabetes to get it.
that's all for me kids.
until tomorrow...

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
so, 3 of the teams i live and die with will be playing today. at noon, 12:30 and 2 this afternoon. i suppose today is the day i give my blood pressure a workout.
at noon, Ohio State plays at Michigan State. i am hoping Ohio State, who will be short-handed and without their head coach today, finds a way to win this game and keep their undefeated season going.
at 12:30, Manchester United will be playing. they really need a victory today after that debacle midweek against PSG. now, they are playing at West Ham, so it will not be easy.
at 2 this afternoon, the Dayton Flyers play at home against SMU. i'll be watching the game on ESPN+. i'm really hoping Dayton plays much better than they did in their first game.
Smackdown and 205 Live were both pretty good last night.
mom decided she wanted pizza last night for dinner. luckily, i had that free coupon from Pizza Hut to use, so i did. we got a large pizza that would have cost us $21 for FREE. of course, i had to get a bunch of other stuff to have it delivered, but that was fine. the sweets i got we had for breakfast this morning. and what is leftover will be either lunch or dinner today.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Saturday Night Live, ROH, Bluegrass Underground and Austin City Limits.
i'm sure i'll watch some other sports today. i'm also hoping the baseball and football cards i ordered show up today.
i should be on here tomorrow in the morning before the New Orleans Saints play.
thanks to everyone who has checked out my latest published poems:
i got in my massage chair a little before noon today, mostly to ice my back and take a nap. that nap turned into a 3 hour siesta. i probably needed it, especially since Dayton doesn't play until 9 tonight for some fucking reason.
my thoughts on Super Tuesday are pretty simple. i'm not a fan of Joe Biden, and no one who wants to see this country change should be, but i'm also pretty sure no one can fuck this country up more than the asshole running it now. so, if i have to vote for the lesser of two evils, i'll swallow my pride and do it. but, i will always hold out the hope that the sheep in this country will wake the fuck up one day and see the light.
the New York Rangers lost to St. Louis last night, 3-1. i can only imagine what the game would have been like if the refs would have called the 6 or so penalties the Blues got away with other than the three they did call.
WWE Backstage was really good last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Masked Singer, NXT, AEW and Miz & Mrs.
the Dayton Flyers play at Rhode Island tonight. it's senior night, so i'm really hoping Dayton is up to the task of playing the villain tonight. plus, it would put them one step closer to going 18-0 in the league. it also probably means if they win tonight, they will be the only team from the A10 that will make the NCAA tournament, unless Dayton stumbles. i'd love to see Dayton win tonight, but my gut tells me this could be the game that ends the winning streak. i'd love to be wrong.
i should be on here tomorrow after mom has her doctor's appointment. i'm hoping to get some poems written.
Manchester United plays in the FA Cup tomorrow. i think that's going on at the same time as mom's doctor's appointment. so, hopefully i'll have some good news to report tomorrow.
that's all for me kids. until tomorrow...

i was absolutely elated when the New England Patriots lost last night. at the very least, there will be a Super Bowl with someone different in it. and i do hope, one of those teams will be the New Orleans Saints. they play at home today against the Minnesota Vikings. hopefully, i will be a happy boy in a few hours.
both playoff games were excellent last night. i'm hoping both are today as well. in the second game today, Seattle is at Philadelphia.
Manchester United and Wolves finished 0-0 yesterday. that's a worst case scenario for both clubs as they now have to play the game again at Old Trafford.
the New York Rangers played better last night but lost in Vancouver, 2-1. i can't imagine that was a fun plane ride back to New York.
ROH was pretty good last night.
Austin City Limits was very good last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Power, Ray Donovan and Shameless. i'll probably be watching the Golden Globes for most of the evening.
the Dayton Flyers play this afternoon at Saint Joseph's. i'm hoping Dayton beats the shit out of them and gets part 2 of the Philly curse over with. they haven't won at Saint Joseph's in almost 20 damn years.
the final of the World Juniors is today as well. Canada takes on Russia for the gold. that should be interesting. Sweden takes on Finland for the bronze medal.
mom got these new sheets for our beds at Christmas. that was like wrestling a motherfucker last night getting those on her bed. i guess my bed is up for today. joy.
i'm going to try to be on here in the morning tomorrow, before i take mom to her doctor's appointment. if not then, it will be after we get back home.
i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday is even better.
until tomorrow kids...

so i made it to my appointment this morning on time. i took the EMG test. the doctor had a very thick accent, so that was fun. damn good thing i have a high pain tolerance. so, the test revealed i have a mild pinched nerve in my neck and carpal tunnel in my right wrist. oh joy. after that, i had to go to Meijer down the street to get some stuff for the house. of course, they didn't have it. i did get some things i wasn't planning on getting that i knew we needed instead. and then i went to McDonald's to get breakfast. mom likes their big breakfast. sometimes i think she has me get it because she doesn't trust me to cook something for her. oh well. the funniest part of this morning was the physical therapy place calling me to see if i could come in at 10:30. of course, they called at 10:20 while i was on the toilet taking a shit. good times. so, i'm guessing i will be doing some physical therapy at some point for all of this. so, my liver is dying, my neck is pinched, i have the same shit in my wrist that my father had and the cashier at Meijer wasted 10 minutes of my life randomly talking about her car accidents and fucked up neck. the life of a poet. and you wonder why we all want to die.
The Voice was pretty good last night.
Total Divas was good last night.
The Jim Jefferies Show was hilarious last night.
Mr. Mercedes was excellent last night.
Mayans M.C. was very, very good last night.
enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be NXT, AEW, The Masked Singer, 24/7 College Football, Cake and American Horror Story.
i love that the Rays pushed the Astros to a Game 5. that means both teams won't have their pitching staffs in line for the ALCS against the Yankees. i do plan on watching some of both Game 5's today in the NLDS.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. i think mom is feeling better, so i don't think i have to rush for any medical supplies. she's going to have one hell of a scar from this one.
that's all for me kids. until tomorrow...
