i hope you had a fun, relaxing, or whatever the fuck kind of day you wanted to have on this labor day. mine has been one of relaxing, being in pain, relaxing, forcing myself to sleep, etc. i called in a couple of prescriptions i needed filled and i tried to make my eye appointment finally. i have been meaning to do that for a few months now. apathy, what a wonderful gift.
well, i guess i'll start with the Manchester United debacle. i was hoping that it would be a good game to watch. i should have turned it off at halftime, but i am a glutton for punishment. i did turn it off when Liverpool went up 3-0. this is exactly what i was fearing with bringing ETH back. now i have to stew on that loss for the next two weeks since the international break is upon us. joy.
the Yankees lost yesterday at home to the Cardinals, 14-7. they start a series tonight at Texas.
Big Brother was good last night.
Industry was very good last night.
NXT No Mercy was excellent last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Monday Night Raw and Name That Tune.
DIRECTV and Disney are having a pissing fight, so all the Disney networks aren't on DIRECTV right now. as a sports fan, this is insane since ESPN is under that Disney umbrella. so, i will have to follow the college football game tonight on my phone i guess.
i should be on here tomorrow after i take mom to get her hair done.
i hope everyone had a great weekend.
until tomorrow kids...

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
hopefully, you have been relaxing by a pool or enjoying a cookout or something better than doing your laundry and sending out poems. i wanted to get my laundry done yesterday but my back wasn't having it. so, i took a shower last night, got some sleep and got after it today. my last load is in the washer. good times.
the Yankees swept the Astros last night for the first time in a decade. they won 6-1. they are off tonight and start a series at home against Detroit tomorrow.
i did catch a little of the LSU and Florida State game last night.
i also caught a little of the MLS last night.
Big Brother was good last night.
Heels was very good last night.
Power Book IV: Force was excellent last night.
Billions was great last night.
The Chi brought back some memories last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Monday Night Raw.
i did listen to episode 463 of Notsam Wrestling this morning. you can hear that by going here:
it started raining last night and i woke up this morning to a thick fog. we're supposed to get more rain today. joy. i always love spending a holiday in pain.
so, the big plan today was to get the poems out first and then do this blog while doing my laundry. of course, nothing in my life ever goes as planned. so, the blog is first today. the poems will go out later, most likely after a shower and my laundry.
Manchester United defeated Arsenal yesterday, 3-1. that made me very happy. United is now 5th in the Premier League, 3 points out of 1st.
the Yankees won yesterday down in that dump in Tampa, 2-1. Aaron Judge hit his 53rd HR to lead off the game. he ended up scoring all the Yankees runs in this series. the last player to do that in a 3 game series was Babe Ruth. the Yankees start a 4 game series at home this afternoon against the Twins.
the season finale of The Chi last night was very good.
Big Brother was good last night.
City on a Hill was awesome last night.
Power Book III: Raising Kanan was excellent last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Monday Night Raw, Industry and Don't Forget the Lyrics.
NXT Worlds Collide was excellent yesterday.
i will do another blog later today when i get the poems out.
i need to go take a shower and then get my laundry going. i helped mom do hers all weekend. now, it is my turn.
i hope everyone had a great Sunday. enjoy your Labor Day.
i have no damn clue when i will be on here tomorrow.
until then kids...

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
i've been contacted by 3 people out of the blue this morning. 3 complete fucking strangers. i've already busted one as trying to scam me. i'm working on a second one posing as a general in Syria. he has the decency to actually pose as a Christian as well. ok, just nailed him. you would think one day these stupid fuckers would realize i will not fall for this stupid shit. the third one says she is a student and model in London. i'm waiting for when she asks me for money. it will happen, i have seen it for years now. it's beyond fucking rare anymore to find an "actual" person on the internet that wants to have a conversation and not just weasel some money out of you.
so, welcome to my Labor Day. hopefully yours has started better.
the New York Yankees got a huge victory yesterday, 5-2, avoiding a sweep in Baltimore. they are back home this afternoon playing against Toronto. they really need to start stringing together victories if they want to stay in contention for the playoffs. sadly, every team they play (except for Tampa) are playing for the playoffs as well for the rest of the season.
that game between Notre Dame and Texas last night was an instant classic. Texas won in 50-47 in 2OT.
Big Brother was pretty good last night. this will be the last week in the house for James or Natalie.
Power last night was excellent. the shit is getting really good now.
The Strain was fucking great last night. the ending was certainly very interesting.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be the final part of the CM Punk UFC documentary. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening. i will probably check out the Florida State vs. Ole Miss game as well.
mom did pretty well yesterday. of course, she's paying for it today. we went to the local grocery store and she got some things she wanted. i think took her to this chicken place as she had been talking about wanting chicken for the last two days. so, there was lunch and dinner yesterday. this morning she feels a little drained. hopefully the muscle relaxers help her.
i'm not a big fan of crowds, waiting in line, people in general, etc. so when i drove my mother and sister up to Waffle House this morning and the parking lot was full, the first thing i thought was i forgot pen and paper. this is poem making material. now, i have a tendency when i get around people to hear all the conversations going on at once. then i sort of pick and choose what to listen to. so there was one guy that spent all morning mowing grass and there's the other who had a buddy go to Las Vegas to get rich and then the woman coughing up a lung who wanted a little more sugar in her coffee. the only problem with this tendency is i go silent while doing it. so i'm not the greatest companion in this type of situation. good thing both my mother and sister know i'm an asshole, so it's not a big deal. amazingly, we were in and out of Waffle House in a little over 30 minutes. after that, i drove out to the old farm to see the damage. they are still in the process of selling off the old barns; most of the structure of the old hog barn is still up. and to think i spent damn near half my life out at that place. i have to admit, the lane is much better now. the rest, i'm not a fan of.
the New York Yankees put me to sleep yesterday in the first 5 innings. i woke up after all the good shit in the 6th. when i fell asleep they were losing 3-0. when i saw they were winning 4-3 i had to go get the tablet and see what happened. HUGE home runs from McCann and A-Rod gave the Yankees the lead yesterday. they played tack on baseball and eventually won 6-4. that wins the series against Tampa. they now face Baltimore this afternoon. Toronto won again yesterday, so the Yankees have to be in the keep winning mentality, no matter what. after the Baltimore series, the Blue Jays come to town.
the Sunday night shows were good last night. Big Brother was pretty funny. i'm wondering how much of the last two days is going to make the Wednesday show. The Strain was excellent last night. Ray Donovan was excellent as well. it also peeled another layer off the onion last night that should make the rest of the season very interesting. Masters of Sex was good.
i did not sleep well last night at all. i had some horrific dream that i woke up to screaming in my head at 3 in the morning. i believe i talked myself to sleep after that and all i remember is a plane ride with an old girlfriend that ended up crashing. maybe this was all from the chocolate cake last night.
anyone else need some music?
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Monday Night Raw as i will be watching Ohio State seek some revenge against Virginia Tech. after all that is over, i'm going to try to catch this on the WWE Network:
my sister goes back home today. she's over at my uncle's right now. tomorrow is her birthday. i think she had a better weekend than she thought she was going to.
i hope everyone has a safe and happy Labor Day. enjoy whatever you have planned. watch for the police as they will be out in force trying to catch people drinking and driving. so as usual, either have a designated driver or you better be the designated drunk driver.
for those of you not celebrating a three day weekend, remember that Mondays suck until you break out the vodka. then, not too bad.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

Imagine Dragons - Radioactive
Soul Asylum - Summer of Drugs
Jamey Johnson - In Color
Benjamin Booker - Wicked Waters
Traffic - Dear Mr. Fantasy
"Death is very often referred to as a good career move." - Buddy Holly
fresh from the shower. tried my best to get the stink of yet another Yankee loss off of me. my favorite kind of loss too. fall behind, take the lead, give up that lead immediately and then lose late on a couple of broken bat hits. fucking lovely. division lead is down to 1. if they keep fucking around they will soon be out of the wild card race as well. might be time for a human sacrifice...
had a good breakfast this morning with my mother. in public even. quite the shock for her when i said yes. drove around in the rain and saw a few accidents. figured that was as good a start to the day as i could have. thankfully, didn't wake up this morning with the pain in my left leg. a complete fucking relief there my friends. as for rainfall, i'm guessing we were well over an inch of it, probably closer to 2. much needed. there's more in the forecast. i know the crops for this year are a lost cause, but next year can still be saved if we have a wet fall and winter. fingers are crossed.
hope everyone had a good labor day. did something productive on their day off or at least told the world to fuck off for a few hours. i'm hoping Monday Night Raw is entertaining enough to rescue my holiday.
i should be sending out some poems in the next week or so. probably after the first week of the NFL is over with. must have my priorities in order. when i start making more money on poetry than i do with sports, that will change. hopefully before i'm dead.
music today:
Ted Hawkins - The Next Hundred Years
Ani DiFranco - Up Up Up Up Up Up
Morphine - Like Swimming
