so, i came out of Rite Aid today after picking up my prescription and noticed my left rear tire was low on air pressure. i made it back home and put air in it. i'm going to check it in a few hours to see if it is still holding that air. if not, i have another tire fiasco on my hands. joy.

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
yesterday was one of those days where i think i just about ran the whole fucking gamut of emotions. but, before we get on that damn rollercoaster, a little poetry news first.
i sent out 8 poems today. 5 to Synchronized Chaos and 3 to Terror House Magazine. when i hear back from these places, i will pass along the verdicts.
the Yankees defeated the Tigers yesterday, 5-4 in 10 innings. the Yankees had a perfect 6-0 homestand. they are off tonight and start a series in Minnesota tomorrow night.
the New York Rangers lost yesterday at Tampa, 3-2. they fell into their old traps once again. they pissed away a 2-0 lead. they were badly outshot and couldn't stay out of the damn penalty box. that being said, Tampa scored the winning goal with 41 seconds left. i hope the Rangers bounce back to win Tuesday night and take a 3-1 lead back to MSG.
the USMNT had a 0-0 draw with Uruguay yesterday. as much as i would have loved a victory, at least they didn't lose 3-0 to them like Mexico did.
here are your highlights from Game 2 of the NBA Finals last night.
VICE was very good last night.
The Man Who Fell To Earth was excellent last night.
Ziwe was hilarious last night.
Gaslit was very good last night.
Barry was good last night. the season finale is next week.
The Baby was really good last night. that series finale is next week.
Last Week Tonight was BRILLIANT as usual.
WWE Hell in a Cell was crazy last night. mad respect to Cody Rhodes for wrestling with a totally fucking creepy looking pulled pectoral muscle last night.

and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Monday Night Raw, two episodes of Miz & Mrs and Don't Forget the Lyrics.
i did listen to episode 398 of Notsam Wrestling this morning. you can hear that by going here:
so, i got up this morning thinking i was going to go shopping with my mother after the USA vs. Germany game this morning. well, her blood pressure wasn't cooperating today, so i had to go by myself. more on that in a bit.
the USA defeated Germany this morning at the Hockey Worlds, 6-1, to win the bronze.
Canada defeated Finland in OT to win the gold.
i went to Menards with a scroll of things to get. i did get some plants that my mother seems to really like. i got her something that will make the shit on her phone big enough for her to actually see. she loves that so far. i got some hot pepper suet for the birds. i got new solar lights for the back and some butterfly solar lights in the front since mom loves butterflies. i also got 2 birdhouses, meant for small birds, since we attract a ton of them out here. i ended up spending like $130 at Menards. and then i had to get gas for the drive home. there's another $30. damn.
MLW and ROH were both pretty good last night.
here are your highlights from the NBA playoffs yesterday:
here are your highlights from the NHL playoffs yesterday:
the Yankees laid another turd last night and lost to the Red Sox, 7-3. hopefully, they won't get fucking swept tonight.

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
so, i wanted to wake up and get right to the poems this morning. small glitch in that plan. for some fucking reason, i had 256 emails. that took me over 90 minutes to get through all that. needless to say, that pushed everything back today. and as usual, it was all my fault. (those are my mother's words, not mine)
i did send out 30 poems today. 3 each to Rusty Truck, The Beatnik Cowboy and Mad Swirl; 5 each to Horror Sleaze Trash, Synchronized Chaos (already accepted for publication) and Rust Belt Review; 6 poems to Record Magazine. when i hear back from these places i will pass along the verdicts.
by the time i got that all done, it was 2 in the afternoon. mom wanted to go get her hair done. it was hot out and she doesn't do well in the heat. we waited for about 30 minutes and she finally got called up to get her hair done. about 30 minutes later she was finished. i guess it had been 34 weeks since she had anything done to her hair. i needed to go pick up a prescription of mine at the grocery store. after that, mom decided she wanted to go to Bob Evans for lunch. since we got out of there around 5, it might as well been dinner.
so yeah, it was one of these days where i'm running around like a chicken with the head cut off. good times. tomorrow might be more of the same. more on that later.
the New York Yankees lost last night in Toronto, 11-7. the bullpen shit the bed last night. hopefully they will avoid the sweep tonight.
here are your highlights from Game 3 of the NBA Finals:
NXT and NXT UK were good yesterday.
The Wrestlers was very good last night.
the USMNT lost to Jamaica last night, 1-0. there's 2 hours i'll never get back in my life.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Lip Sync Battle, Life in Pieces and Desus & Mero.
Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final is tonight. i will probably watch a good amount of that.
so, the WWE is doing Super Showdown tomorrow afternoon on the WWE Network. i think it's around 2 PM or so. my goal is to get the grocery shopping done in the morning so i have a reasonable shot at getting the blog done before the wrestling starts. of course, that also means i need to get to bed before 5 in the morning, which is sadly becoming my new normal.
so yeah, hopefully i will be on here around noon tomorrow and i will already have some shit done.
that's all for me kids. until tomorrow...

when you see the songs at the end of this blog, you will know what the last 18 hours of my life has been. i'm happy with the selection my mother has made for the new windows. i was pretty happy with the discounts she got, especially the one for being retired. that was something the company from last night wasn't offering. she was hoping for a longer warranty, but i asked her why? you plan on living to 90 or so when everyone else in this family is 70 to 80 and then hits the bricks? as usual, good point by me. and as i told her, it's her money, $3,000 more to get what you want is nothing. of course, to me that's a mountain of cash i haven't seen in years. thankfully, the nightmare of listening to salesmen is over for now.
the New York Yankees won last night 7-2 over Toronto. hopefully they will get the sweep of the 2 game series with a victory tonight. i didn't see much of the game as the window guy here last night didn't leave until the game was already in the 7th inning.

i'll be on here tomorrow after i take mom to her physical therapy session.
a quick update on Debbie Kirk. she has made it to Denver and is settling in. her first appointment is tomorrow. she told me this morning why the fuck did she think she could do this alone. i laughed and told her maybe her ego was stronger than she ever realized. she will need any support you can give at this time. here is a link to her gofundme page. anything is very appreciated. https://www.gofundme.com/5m0wfqg
