so, i tried the weed gummy again last night. no luck. i talked myself to sleep a little after 4 in the morning. i woke up at 9. close to 5 hours isn't exactly what i was hoping for. oh well.
Ohio State won last night at Michigan State, 38-7.
a delightful trip into the dark mind of an evil genius or simply the musings of an asshole

so, we get this dairy supplement that Rite Aid makes as it helps to make sure anytime i eat dairy i don't suddenly have diarrhea. we usually can find it in bottles with 125 pills in it. well, they have become suddenly scarce in the last few weeks. so, i opened the last box the other night and decided to go out today and try to find some. now, i went to the Brookville store and there was no sight of them but they had the same pills in a 32 count box and were selling those as buy 1 get 1 50% off. i checked the ingredients and they were the same pills i normally use. then i checked the shelves to see if even the 125 pill box was even listed anywhere. it wasn't. that was the same for the New Lebanon Rite Aid and the Englewood Rite Aid. i wasn't driving to the Vandalia one as i knew i had other shit to do today. so, i ended up buying 4 boxes in total and since Englewood didn't have any, i got some baseball and football cards there. i got an autographed football card in the football box. a couple of hall of famers in the baseball box. not bad.
the Yankees lost last night at Toronto, 6-0. they start a series tonight in Kansas City. final 3 games of the season.
the beauty of a bad back is you are never quite sure when it is going to just tap out and say fuck off. i was having a good morning and then my back decided, not today asshole. so, i grabbed some ice and headed to my massage chair. 3 hours later, i was off for my adventure this afternoon. i had to go to Rite Aid since they didn't have one prescription ready when i was there yesterday. then, i headed to Meijer to get some things. of course, the main things i was looking for they didn't have. i then had to go back to the local grocery store to get the one thing mom forgot to put on the grocery list. and then i went to McDonald's to get her Frozen Coke. i always love a day when i am eating lunch after 5 PM.
so, it looks like i'll be on Amazon.com tonight trying to find a few things.
the Yankees won last night at Toronto, 8-3. Aaron Judge hit his 61st HR last night, tying the American League record set by Roger Maris in 1961. the Yankees are off tonight and start a series at home tomorrow night against Baltimore.
so, i got most of the grocery shopping done today. Thursday is quickly becoming the day to get everything that wasn't on the list. but, that's for tomorrow's blog. i got home in time to watch the Manchester United game in the Champions League today.
of course, United always has to give up the first goal. but, down 1-0, it seemed like they finally woke the fuck up. an absolute golazo from Alex Telles tied the game at 1. and then in the 95th minute, CR7 scored the winner and Old Trafford went fucking nuts. United defeated Villarreal 2-1. they desperately needed this win.
i was at the dealership for more than 3 hours today. i guess they had to replace one of the brakes, plus the wipers, do an oil change, rotate the tires, etc. of course, the parts they needed for the brakes they didn't have, so i had to wait. joy. i took my little notebook with me, hoping to get a little writing done while i was there. i had a few lines come to me, but i could never get a whole poem out of them. not exactly the way i wanted to end the month. fuck...
congrats to the Tampa Bay Lightning on winning the Stanley Cup. i'm so happy for Ryan McDonagh and Kevin Shattenkirk, two ex-Rangers who deserve this.
