the New Orleans Saints won yesterday at home against Atlanta, 20-17. that ended their 7 game losing streak.

the Dayton Flyers won yesterday at home against Northwestern, 71-66. not bad, considering they were down 13 points in the first half yesterday.

 before i get to the absolute shit show the New Orleans Saints have become... i saw last night as i was trying to go to sleep that Quincy Jones had died. being the age i am, i definitely knew who Quincy Jones was. that man probably had one of the most amazing music careers of anyone that has ever existed. for anyone younger that isn't aware, that is one rabbit hole you should definitely lose yourself in.

the New Orleans Saints lost yesterday at Carolina, 23-22. today, they (finally) fired the head coach. hopefully, they blow up everything and finally start the fuck over.

Manchester United and Chelsea played a 1-1 draw yesterday. 

the New York Rangers won yesterday at home against the Islanders, 5-2.

The Penguin was great last night. the finale is next week.

college basketball started back up today. the Dayton Flyers play tonight at home against St. Francis (PA). Dayton is favorited by 25.5 points, so i think they should win tonight. i'll probably watch some of the game on ESPN+.

i should be on here tomorrow after i take the Highlander to the mechanic. i'm guessing the check engine light is on for the reason it has came on the last several times. there is a hose that comes loose in the engine that should never come loose. they tried to fix it the last time so it wouldn't happen again. that was i think 5 or 6 months ago. hopefully, that is it and there will be no charge.

well, i wasn't expecting to wake up to this...

 so, i woke up this morning and looked at my phone. i normally see a text reminder to make by pill, etc. this morning, the first thing i saw was Manchester United had fired Erik ten Hag. Ruud van Nistelrooy has been named the interim manager. i know i said in the blog yesterday that some would blame the West Ham loss on ETH, i didn't figure it would be the owners and the board. my best guess is that Ruud will be the coach for the two games this week and then, if reports are true, they are going to hire Ruben Amorim as the next manager. he is currently the manager of Sporting CP in Portugal. i think they partly want to hire him so Manchester City can't. so yeah, my morning went from 0 to 100 really quickly.

the New Orleans Saints lost yesterday at the Chargers, 26-8. thank god i didn't see much of the game.

NXT Halloween Havoc was really good last night.

 so, i had wanted to get this blog done before Manchester United played this morning. in hindsight, i really wish i would have. unfortunately, i woke up a little later than i wanted and decided, let me actually enjoy breakfast instead of rushing through it. United pissed away chance after chance in the first half. thanks to a shitty penalty call in the second half, they lost to West Ham, 2-1. hard to blame this one on ETH, but i'm sure some will. not the way i wanted to start my Sunday.

the Yankees lost Game 2 last night of the World Series, 4-2, to the Dodgers. they are now down 2-0 in the series. the next 3 games are at Yankee Stadium. if the Yankees don't win Game 3, it will be more than likely a sweep.

Ohio State played like shit yesterday yet managed to beat Nebraska, 21-17. they play at Penn State next week.

the New York Rangers won last night at home over Anaheim, 2-1.

now it feels like fall...

 hell, i even had to put on sweatpants today. holy hell. it only got into the 50's today. it was rather blustery today when i had to go to Kroger to get my pills. i guess it is going to be like this for most of this week. joy.

well, yesterday didn't go how i wanted for the most part either. i need the worm to turn and quickly.

the Saints got beat yesterday at home by Tampa Bay, 51-27. amazingly, the Saints were winning at halftime. fuck me. they next play on Thursday at home against Denver.

the season finale of Big Brother went how i was expecting for the most part. Makenzie won the final HOH and then made the stupid mistake of taking Chelsie to the final, instead of Cam. if she would have took Cam, she would have won $750,000. instead, she takes Chelsie, loses 7-0 and gets $75,000. Tucker won America's favorite player, first time someone that didn't at least make it to the jury has won that. $50,000 for that award.

well, it could have been worse...

 i didn't get to sleep until after 4 AM this morning. i got up a little after 9. that was a few minutes after the Manchester United game started. they were playing at Aston Villa. the game finished 0-0. honestly, it could have been much worse. but, at least they got a point out of the game. still, it is the worst start they have had in the Premier League. ETH will find out this week if he will still have the head coaching job at United. my best guess is if they have the next coach already lined up, he will get fired. if not, they will keep him, at least until the summer.

not what i was hoping for...

 so, i made it to the doctor's office for my appointment today. my A1C was up, which means the Rybelsus did absolutely nothing for me. the only numbers i really liked was my blood pressure. after the appointment was over, they sent me upstairs to get some x-rays done on my left shoulder and elbow. those came back normal. oh well. i did get my flu shot today. 

i took a little nap after i got home. the guy that cuts our grass woke me up as he was blowing the leaves around. hopefully, this will be the last time he has to mow the grass.

well, Manchester United lost yesterday at home to Tottenham, 3-0. Bruno got a weak red card which really baffles me that VAR couldn't tell just how weak the red card was. fuck, even the commentators that dislike Manchester United said it was harsh. but, just more of the same. i'm not sure what the disconnect is between ETH and the team.

the New Orleans Saints lost at Atlanta yesterday, 26-24. 

the Yankees beat the Pirates yesterday at home, 6-4. they finished the season 94-68. they have the #1 seed in the American League playoffs. they will face either the Royals or Orioles on October 5th to start the ALDS.

the season finale of Industry was excellent last night.

Big Brother was good last night.

Power Book II: Ghost was really good last night. next week is the series finale.
