i don't see this ending well...

my body and pain have had a very long relationship. fuck, almost my entire life. so, there are days where the pain is such that i really can't do much. either through apathy or just enormous pain, all i can muster is getting some ice and hopefully getting some sleep. the ice wasn't really working today. but, i did manage a good nap after only getting about 3 hours of sleep last night. my lipoma was very bothersome last night. that's always fun. good times.

the New York Yankees pissed away a 4-1 lead last night and lost at home to Seattle, 5-4. hopefully, they will do better tonight.

here are your highlights from the NHL playoffs last night:

Monday Night Raw was excellent last night.

night 1 of the season finale of The Voice was very good last night. i have no clue who will win the show tonight.

both episodes of Stax: Soulsville U.S.A. were excellent last night. hopefully, the two tonight will be even better.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be NXT, night 2 of the season finale of The Voice and two episodes of Stax: Soulsville U.S.A.

i'm sure i will watch some of the NBA playoffs tonight.

so Orkin just left. they caught two squirrels the other day and forgot to tell us. thankfully, they didn't burrow into the new insulation in the attic. the noises we heard a few weeks ago was them trying to find a way out. of course, they fucked with the dryer vent and popped that out on the side of the house and got out that way. so, one of the techs will be out here tomorrow to fill in the last hole they were using and put a new dryer vent cover on. all of this is free of charge thankfully. now my concern is how the trap on the roof ended up on the ground. they told me that was screwed in, so the only way that could have been ripped down was by a racoon. oh joy.

i should be on here tomorrow after i get all the grocery shopping done.

it is supposed to be raining for the next few days, so i'm hoping it won't be storming too bad while i'm shopping.

that is all for me kids. until tomorrow...

a productive day, so far...

first off, a little poetry news... i sent out 23 poems today; 3 each to Yellow Mama, Mad Swirl, Terror House Magazine and The Beatnik Cowboy; 5 poems to Horror Sleaze Trash and 6 poems to Record Magazine. when i hear back from these places, i will pass along the verdicts.

i just finished my laundry. thankfully, it hasn't been raining today, so my arthritis wasn't too bad.

the season finale of The Masked Singer was good last night. i was a little surprised that the Night Angel won, but it was a good ending to the season.

NXT was very good last night.

AEW was fucking crazy last night.

What We Do in the Shadows was fucking hilarious last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Holey Moley, Celebrity Escape Room, Desus & Mero, Total Bellas, No Mercy No Malice with Professor Scott Galloway and Shelter in Place with Shane Smith. i'll watch NXT UK sometime tonight on WWE Network.

if the weather is decent tomorrow, i'll probably go out looking for a new hummingbird feeder. i think mom wants me to get some stuff at the drugstore, so i'll probably be going out regardless of the weather.

my back is screaming for an ice pack, so that's all for me kids.

i'll be on here in the afternoon tomorrow, most likely.

stay healthy.

wash your fucking hands...

until tomorrow kids...

finding pleasure in the pain, once again...

i didn't get to bed until 5 this morning. sometime around 7 or so, i had a horrific pain in my right side. oh fuck i thought, my appendix has exploded. then i remembered i'm trying to think on 2 hours of sleep. i couldn't get comfortable, so i went out to my massage chair to sleep. i got a couple hours out there, on and off. three shits and a shower later, the pain in my right side was gone. apparently, i was just backed up. of course, my luck, my pain tolerance kicked in and something serious did happen and i'm just going to fucking ignore it. so much for mom and i going shopping today. her back is killing her as well. this is a house today where apathy took a giant shit down our throats. joy.

the New York Yankees were down 6-1 last night in Baltimore. i wasn't happy. but thankfully, the Orioles fucking suck. the Yankees came all the way back to win the game 10-7. hopefully, they will win again tonight.

here are your highlights from the NBA playoffs last night:

The Voice was great last night. Blake's team did much better than i thought they would. that being said, Maelyn is easily the winner this season. hopefully, she will win.

Monday Night Raw was good last night, to a point. i still don't like Brock with the briefcase, but i get the feeling he might go after Kofi and the WWE title, especially since Smackdown will be going to Fox in the fall. who knows. the new 24/7 title, something that looks like it was picked up at a flea market, could be entertaining if they do it correctly.

Carpool Karaoke last night was pretty good.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Smackdown, the finale of The Voice, Miz & Mrs., The Jim Jefferies Show and Deadliest Catch. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.

team USA lost to Canada today, 3-0 at the Hockey World Championships. they finished 4th in the group and their reward for that is to play Russia on Thursday in the quarterfinals.

i have trash to go pick up here and next door. this will be fun with the way my back feels. good times.

i have no damn clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

hopefully, wherever the fuck you are, you feel better than i do.

where pain meets depression and madness starts to laugh

i have a doctor's appointment on Wednesday afternoon. the swelling in my leg went down some overnight. it's still at a level where i would love to know what the fuck is going on. it doesn't feel like when i had blood clots a decade ago, so i'm hoping that's a good sign.

i've spent most of the afternoon talking to my best friend as it looks like she's busy talking herself out of getting the treatment she needs for her breast cancer. and then of course, she'll change her mind 20 minutes later. i seriously wonder how far off she is on her meds. and it's so much fun getting all this dumped on you when you can't do a damn thing about it. these are the afternoons where you can't find another word for hopeless.

and since it's supposed to rain later on tonight, my arthritis is starting to flare up. that then starts to fuck with my nerves. it's a symphony of pain. these are the days where i wish i wouldn't have talked myself out of doing heroin when i was 18.

Westworld was amazing last night.

Last Week Tonight was fucking brilliant as always.

Billions was very good last night.

I'm Dying Up Here was really good last night.

Total Bellas was as stupid as it always is last night.

Drop the Mic was excellent last night.

the New York Yankees whipped the Royals yesterday 10-1. that's the 8th straight series the Yankees have won. they haven't done that since 1998. they start a series tonight at Texas.

here are your highlights from the NHL and NBA playoffs yesterday:

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and The Voice. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

i might watch some of the NHL and NBA playoffs tonight as well.

i got some great FREE music on NoiseTrade this morning. below is the link:

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

i will probably be on here in the morning tomorrow before mom's physical therapy appointment. that's later in the afternoon tomorrow and i'm sure we'll be going to a late lunch/early dinner after it.

that's all for me kids.

odds and ends and vomit and god knows what else...

it's always odd sitting in my room and thinking i'm hearing something. i suppose it's one part of being crazy that i tend to enjoy; sort of like my imagination having fun. but, today was not one of those moments. i was pretty sure i heard my mother throwing up in her room while i was watching Manchester united play. i went to check it out and sure enough. i want to think it's just the nerves with her hip replacement coming up in less than 48 hours. she seems to be ok as of right now, but i'm not going to seal up the trash bag just yet.

Manchester United did play a good number of kids today against Crystal Palace. it is always good to see that. it's even better when they help lead the team to a victory. it also meant they were able to rest a good number of players that will be playing in the Europa League final.

the New York Yankees got beat yesterday 9-5. they need some much better pitching today if they are going to avoid getting swept. i'm not holding my breath.

Saturday Night Live was spectacular last night. for the first time in a month, my local NBC station didn't fuck up the broadcast. i am very happy for that as the season finale was great.

NXT Takeover:Chicago was brilliant last night. the UK Championship match between Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne is a strong candidate for Match of the Year in all of professional wrestling. the tag team title match was the main event, which was great. Authors of Pain and #DIY put on a match for the ages. i think it was the first time i have seen a ladder actually break in half during a ladder match. and then the ending of the show with Tommaso Ciampa turning on Johnny Gargano. holy fuck, what a brutal beating. i'm hoping that Tommaso isn't hurt too bad as a feud between the Psycho Killer and Johnny Wrestling would be perfect for the summer. overall, just an incredible show.

ROH was excellent last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Silicon Valley, Veep, Last Week Tonight and Twin Peaks: The Return.

i'll be watching WWE Backlash for most of the evening. i'm hoping the guys know how good they will have to be tonight to be as good as the NXT show was last night. i figure Nakamura vs. Ziggler and Owens vs. Styles will be the matches of the night.

i have no clue when i'll be on here tomorrow. i get the feeling that as soon as we start doing all the things mom has to do for surgery this evening (changing the bed, special soap, etc.) the whirlwind will begin.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hopefully your Sunday will be even better.

when storm clouds don't bring any rain

today has been one long fuck me kind of day. it's been threatening to rain just about all damn day. so my back has been feeling oh so great since i woke up. go 10 minutes to the north and they got 4 inches of rain in about 30 minutes. go 10 minutes to the east and they got hail the size of golf balls. and what did we get? not one fucking drop. a little drizzle would have been nice for the crops. fuck me runnin'.

the Yankees lost last night as Tanaka proved he was human. and today, they pulled out a victory from the grips of defeat as they rallied in the 9th and eventually won in the 13th, 4-2. the game took more than 5 hours. at least i got a decent nap in.

i was pleased with who won The Voice last night.

as for the NBA Draft lottery, should be fun to watch the Cavs fuck up the first pick once again.

tonight, as soon as i can get this done, it will be some hockey, a victory beer and something for dinner.

i was planning on doing some typing today as i have 3 poems that need to be typed up. maybe i'll do that later tonight.

not sure when i'll be on here tomorrow. i'll be in full playoff game mode as Game 3 is tomorrow in the Rangers series. thankfully the Yankees play a night game, so it should be an afternoon blog for me.

that's all for today. be well. be creative. be the fucker that pisses the masses off while opening doors for old ladies.

peace and chicken grease.

another one of "those" days

i was feeling pretty good this morning. i was just getting done with some stuff on YouTube when my stomach decided it was going to stage a protest rally. i haven't eaten anything crazy or out of the ordinary here lately, so i have no fucking clue what's going on with me. so, after the rest of the morning on the toilet i decided what better to do than mail out some poems.

i sent out 8 poems this afternoon, 3 to The Camel Saloon and 5 to miracle e-zine. when i hear back from these places i will pass along the news here.

i was hoping the rest of my shipment from amazon.com was going to be in the mail, but of course it wasn't. i know it's at the damn post office, they just haven't worked it yet.

the Yankees are on the west coast this week, so i'm going to have some late nights. the next 2 games are going to be tricky against the Dodgers. i'd be really happy with a split considering they are facing their best pitchers.

also tonight is the season finale of Deadliest Catch. judging from the previews, there's going to be a gruesome injury tonight. i'll definitely have my eyes glued to that before i flip to baseball.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night. i was in and out of it as it was taped last week so i pretty much knew what was going to happen.

the humidity really picked up today so i finally shut the house up. it looks like it may actually go back to being summer here after this rain works through the area. my luck the grass will grow a foot in the next 3 days.

that's all for today. i've got some floors to vacuum, a long shower to take and maybe a nap.
