Ohio State whipped Tennessee last night, 42-17, in the college football playoffs. that sets up a rematch against Oregon in the Rose Bowl.

well, that was fun to watch...
in the other college football playoff games... Penn State destroyed SMU 38-10 and Texas beat Clemson 38-24.
AEW Collision was good last night.
Saturday Night Live was hilarious last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be The Agency and two episodes of Dexter: Original Sin.
Manchester United lost this morning at home to Bournemouth, 3-0.
i'm sure i will watch plenty of NFL games today. i did watch some of both games yesterday.
i should be on here tomorrow after i get back from taking mom to her doctor's appointment.
i was stunned yesterday by the news that Rickey Henderson had died. one of my favorite players growing up.
i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday will be even better.
until tomorrow kids...

3 is a magic number...
so, i had a pain last night in my back that was like an axe being thrown between my shoulder blades and being left there for hours. thankfully, i took a shower last night while buzzed on some alcohol and that seemed to do the trick.
mom's chest pains were basically stress. that and the fact that Dayton almost blew a 20 point lead last night in the last 6 minutes of the game against Southern.
Dayton defeated Southern last night, 69-60. Dayton had 21 turnovers in the game and that almost cost them the game. they definitely need to clean that up if they want to be good in the A10 this season.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be AEW, Hard Knocks and The Masked Singer Christmas special.
my sister will be here sometime tonight.
i need to get going to the grocery store. mom has a bit of a scroll for me to find. joy.
best of luck to all the last minute shoppers out there.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.
until then kids...

like a punch to the dick...
let me preface this by saying, you should never lose a game that you had a 14 point lead in or get out rebounded like a boys team playing against men. that said, the way Dayton lost to Colorado yesterday was like a punch to the dick. the refs were fucking horrific. and i know i often complain about officiating, but normally it isn't the deciding factor in a game. yesterday was a different case. every possible call, either correct or judgment or just fucking make it up as you go along, went against Dayton. and to top it off, losing at the buzzer to a wide open 3 point shot to lose by 2 in overtime was salt in the fucking wounds. and to top it off again, Colorado's coach bitched after the game about so many Dayton fans at the game in Chicago. too bad the asshole coaches at a fucking school where no one cares about basketball because it's a football school. hopefully Dayton bounces back from this loss with an ass whipping tomorrow night at home.
https://daytonflyers.com/news/2019/12/21/dayton-mens-basketball-falls-in-overtime-to-colorado-at-chicago-legends.aspx
now let me get to the shit show that was Manchester United this morning. how is it even fucking possible to defeat Tottenham and Manchester City and then turn around and lose 2-0 to Watford. to fucking Watford. unfucking believable. just as i had some belief that this team was going to actually make the top 4 this season, they turn in a fucking horrible performance, on the road, and erase all fucking hope completely. thank god i fell asleep for some of it.
Saturday Night Live was fucking great last night. i laughed my ass off at all the old characters i remembered from my youth from Eddie Murphy. probably the best show of the season so far.
ROH was pretty good last night.
i did watch some of the college basketball games, NFL and NHL last night. after the Dayton game, all i really wanted to see was some fucking violence. at least the boxing last night gave me that.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Dublin Murders, Ray Donovan and Shameless.
the New York Rangers play this afternoon at home against Anaheim. i would love to see them end their losing streak.
the New Orleans Saints play a tough road game today at Tennessee. i would be thrilled if the Saints got a huge road win today.
between the Dayton loss and Manchester United loss, my anger and stress is through the fucking roof at the minute. two more losses this afternoon and shit will be broken in no time.
i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hope your Sunday is even better.
i have no damn clue when i will be on here tomorrow. mom has physical therapy Monday afternoon. i have a basketball game Monday night. so, if my ass is up early enough, i might pound one out in the morning. i'm not even in the mood to think of that as dirty either.
until tomorrow kids...

ever had a friend that just constantly takes?
i'm at the point of my life now where i am really pissed when any kindness i happen to show, even just the casual concern for a fellow human, is taken advantage of and twisted to be something more. my days of having friends that just constantly take are over. i hope the rest of the world figures this out before a few souls have to be eviscerated along the way. as you might imagine, i'm a little pissy after a phone call this morning. but, it isn't going to fuck with my day. this anger will be my fuel.
The Shop last night was excellent.
the season finale of Mike Judge Presents: Tales from the Tour Bus was about Betty Davis last night. it's a fucking crime that she was never as famous as she should have been. the show was excellent as always. i hope there will be a season 3 of this show, it's brilliant.
i did get all the gifts wrapped last night. took me almost 2 hours to get it all done. next year, i think i'll do it while drinking. that might ease the pain.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be ROH.
Manchester United plays later today at Cardiff City. i'm going to record the game as i will be out at the basketball game while it is going on. i do hope that the new manager breathes a little life into the team and they play well and win today. that would be a nice start.
the Dayton Flyers play Presbyterian today. this is a game that Dayton should easily win, so i figure they will struggle and play down to their competition yet again.
the New York Rangers play tonight at Toronto. i'd love to see the Rangers find a way to get a win.
i think my sister is supposed to be dropping some stuff off this afternoon. i have no damn clue if she's actually staying here tonight or not. i know she asked me to record some stuff for her, so i'm guessing if she does stay here, it will be late.
i'll be on here tomorrow in the morning, long before the New Orleans Saints (my team) takes on the Pittsburgh Steelers (my sister's team).
i hope everyone has a great Saturday. call if you need bail money, unless you are a certain someone in Virginia who has burned that bridge beyond recognition by now.

a mountain out of a molehill
i love my sister and will always love her, but she is out of touch with reality so much at times that it is comical. we were at the Dayton Flyers game last night and in one of the timeouts, a guy came out with one of those t-shirt guns to shoot shirts out to the crowd. well, the genius obviously didn't know what he was doing and had the thing aimed too high as the shirts were hitting the roof and falling down. one of those shirts just happened to hit my sister in the head. now, if you listen to her tell the story, she says it was a direct shot. it wasn't, but i've learned over the years there is no point in telling her differently because all you are going to do is start an argument. so, at halftime she went to the first aid station and they wrote up a complaint. she texted my mother and basically said that since she's unemployed now, she should file a lawsuit. i laughed. i go to these things for the games, nothing else.
the Dayton Flyers got off to a good start last night, but that quickly fizzled. thankfully, this time they were only trailing at halftime by 2. they started the second half out on fire and cruised the rest of the way for a 68-63 win over Vanderbilt. they play VMI tomorrow and will hopefully blow them the fuck out.
we went to McDonald's after the game and my sister got 2 fish sandwiches. when we got home, she started bitching because one of the sandwiches was in 2 boxes and another looked like it had a bite taken out of the bun. it was only where they tried to tear the buns apart. i often forget my sister lives in utopia and is going out of her way slumming it down here with us.
Lip Sync Battle was pretty funny last night.
i thought Lucha Underground was very good last night. i love when a great heel tactic wins a cage match. that's great storytelling.
Total Divas was fucking hilarious last night. i can't believe that the Bella twins actually agreed to get IQ tests.
NXT was really good last night as well. i love that Bobby Roode is now the #1 contender. i can just imagine the match between him and Nakamura.
enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight.
i did listen to the latest Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast today. i highly suggest you check it out by going here: http://notsam.com/wrestlingpodcast/2016/12/22/wrestling-podcast-113-gallows-and-anderson
tomorrow is going to be a grand clusterfuck for me. they are coming in the morning to do the insulation for the house. i have an eye appointment in the morning. i suppose i will be doing the blog when i get back home as there is also a basketball game tomorrow night. i suppose sometime between all that i will shit, shower and eat.
a thank you to everyone that has sent me a Christmas card. i really do appreciate it.

sleep, you foreign beauty, where have you been all my life
i think i have slept more in the last 2 days than i have in the last month. amazingly, my back doesn't hurt nearly as bad as it did before. i was actually able to lay down in my bed flat on my back and do some stretching this morning. so, it looks like i will be going to the basketball game tonight.
Monday Night Raw last night was The Slammy Awards. to say that the show was mostly a waste of time would be an understatement. the only thing i liked was probably Kevin Owens getting pissed off when he didn't win Breakout Star of the year. i would say thankfully, there was something else on to watch, but the New Orleans Saints didn't help me much in that effort.
the Saints had a pathetic first half, including scoring three touchdowns in the same drive only to have them called back by penalties or replay. they fought back in the second half but anytime this season the team has had to rely on the defense, every single fan knew what was coming next. failure. the defense needed a huge stop and didn't get it. so the Saints only had a few seconds left and sure enough, since Drew Brees was trying to play through the pain in his right foot, he couldn't throw more than 20 yards or so. hard to score a touchdown when you have to go 80 in under 20 seconds. hello frustration, it's me again. Saints lose 35-27.
i did win both of my fantasy football matches from over the weekend. so this coming week i'll be playing for fifth place in one league and two championships in the other two leagues. i'm pretty sure i'm going to be the underdog in all 3.
enjoy some music kids:
and now some of this and that:
tonight on the DVR will be WWE Smackdown as i believe there might be some actual wrestling on the show.
i will be at the Dayton Flyers vs. Miami Redhawks tonight. both my mother and sister graduated from Miami, so this game always means a little more in this family. tonight marks the return of Dyshawn Pierre from his suspension. i have no clue if he plays tonight or not, but he will be a welcome sight.
also tonight the New York Rangers will try to not give all of us fans a shitty Christmas by winning a game against Anaheim. the Ducks stink at the moment too, so i'm sort of happy i will be at the basketball game for most of this game.
hopefully i will be enjoying a few victory beers tonight.
i think my sister is coming down tomorrow. i thankfully was able to get most of the gifts wrapped last night. i even managed to wrap some of them in the comics instead of the obituary pages.
not sure what's going on with my uncle. i have a feeling with his blood pressure going down, that the end may be near. i figure given the way this family has gone over the years, i would not rule out a Christmas death. i think he's trying so hard to make it to that day that he's only hurting himself. as i told my mother this morning, maybe one of his daughters or his wife should have some fucking compassion and let him know it's okay to move on. but, given what i know about all of them, that won't happen. the last few months have been about themselves more than anything.
and on that lovely note, i hope everyone has a wonderful day.
