so, i took a weed gummy about a hour ago and i think it has kicked in a little bit, so let's see how this goes.
i did take mom to her foot doctor today. in and out, probably in less than 10 minutes. and thankfully, it wasn't hotter than shit today.
thankfully, i didn't watch one second of the Yankees loss to Boston last night at home, 3-0. god, the Yankees fucking suck right now. they are off tonight and start a series tomorrow down in that dump in Tampa.
NXT Heatwave was awesome last night.
Power Book II: Ghost had their mid season finale last night. the show comes back in September.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Monday Night Raw.
i hope everyone had a good weekend.
i know one thing, i will be on here tomorrow while doing my laundry. i have a nice big pile i need to get done.

i didn't mind the rain when i lived on the farm. i knew we needed it for the crops. but, i'm not on the farm now. and to wake up to rain for like the 3rd day in a row sucks. i know some asshole out there is like think of the alternative. guess what, i have been since i was 8 years old.
the New York Yankees lost last night at home to the Cubs, 3-0. i guess the only time they can win now is when their pitchers are perfect.
WWE Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both really good last night.
AEW Rampage was good last night.
the season finale of Painting with John was excellent last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be AEW Collision.
so, i woke up this morning to the news that David de Gea was leaving Manchester United after 12 years. i wasn't surprised by this, but i am really disappointed that he never got the sendoff he deserved after all these years at the club.
the Gold Cup starts back up today. i'll probably watch that and some of the MLS games.
i know mom wants pizza today. hopefully, they will get my order right this time.
i have a couple of poems swimming in my head. hopefully, those will come to shore later today.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.
i hope everyone has a great Saturday.

first off, a little poetry news. i sent 3 poems this afternoon to Terror House Magazine. when i hear back from Matt on them, i'll pass along the verdict.
the Yankees won last night in Boston, 6-5. they are the first team in MLB to 60 wins this season. hopefully, they will win again tonight.
the USWNT defeated Jamaica last night, 5-0. that means they have qualified for the next World Cup.
i did get my order from Repacked Wax today of the basketball cards i ordered. it was great to see some cards from before i was born as i don't have any basketball cards from then. the best card i got in the packs today was an Obi Toppin rookie card. that truly made my day.
The Old Man was excellent last night.
NJPW was really good last night.
NXT UK was good last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown, AEW Rampage and the season finale of Pause with Sam Jay. i'll watch NXT Level Up sometime tonight on Peacock.
i do plan on watching some MLS games tonight, especially El Trafico (LAFC vs. LA Galaxy).
i did go to Menards yesterday after mom's appointment. i found pretty much everything i was looking for. as for mom's appointment, i think she did ask the doctor everything she wanted to. they called this morning to get her physical therapy going again. hopefully, mom will remember to call them back.
i did get my pills at Rite Aid today. i then went to Kroger to get mom's. of course, Kroger's computers were down at the pharmacy, so they couldn't do shit. so, i'll have to go back there sometime this weekend. joy. i did find the Jim Beam coffee i like at Big Lots today, as well as some baseball cards. i'll probably open those up tonight.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.
mom has been feeling under the weather today, so i have to figure out what she wants for dinner. hopefully, something that won't make her puke.
i hope everyone has a great weekend.

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
the USWNT game against the Netherlands yesterday in the Women's World Cup final started off like i thought it would. the first half was pretty even and finished at 0-0. i wasn't surprised when the USA started off on the front foot in the second half and slowly imposed their will. that is what great teams do. i knew that the penalty given to the Netherlands was supposed to be a penalty before VAR told the official it was. when Rapinoe scored, i had a good feeling that was all they were going to need. when Rose Lavelle scored to make it 2-0, i knew it was all over then. i'm so happy for the women on this team. now, hopefully they win their case against U.S. Soccer and actually get equal pay.
the game finished right as the New York Yankees were starting yesterday. the Yankees lost 2-1. i didn't want them to enter the All-Star break on a losing streak, but they are still first in the division by 6 1/2 games. they start the second half with a nice long homestand, so hopefully they will get off to a great start on the road to the playoffs.
then, last night i watched the USMNT against Mexico in the final of the Gold Cup. i loved how the USA started, but of course, they weren't clinical in the final third and pissed chance after chance away. they should have been up 3-0 at halftime. it was 0-0. Mexico made the adjustments that a good coach does and surely enough, they dominated the USA in the second half. when Mexico scored to make it 1-0, i knew there was little chance the USA would come back. it doesn't help when your coach makes some of the dumbest fucking substitutions i have seen in a long time. i'm all for taking off a defender when trailing in a final. but, why the fuck do you replace him with another defender? holy fuck, i would fire him today for that alone.
that loss kept me up until 5 this morning. i must have replayed the game in my head 5 to 10 fucking times. i sadly have the feeling that the best player this country has ever produced (Christian Pulisic) is going to be wasted in yet another generation of USMNT that doesn't win shit.
Our Cartoon President was hilarious last night.
City on a Hill was really good last night.
Big Brother was good last night.
Big Little Lies was excellent last night.
Euphoria was great last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Divorce and Desus & Mero. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.
if i get really bored tonight, i might watch some of the Home Run Derby contest.
i did do a little poetry work earlier today. i know where the next 26 poems will be going in my next round of poetry submissions.
i will probably be on here tomorrow after i get those poems out. or after i get my blood drawn again. honestly, i couldn't give two shits if my liver enzymes are elevated anymore.
i hope everyone had a great weekend.
until tomorrow kids...

it seems no matter how much or how little effort i put into anything, some shit just isn't going to go my way. i find the courage to get over my self-hatred and make a video and of course, it's too large. and i wish i was talking about something other than the video. add in a little rejection and pain and you have nearly every Sunday morning of my adult life. and sadly, i know i'm not going to be able to find the pleasure in the pain forever.
a little poetry news to pass along: i heard back on my poetry submission from last month to Squawk Back. they rejected all 10 poems i sent. that was a nice kick in the nuts. well, there's 10 more back on the pile. and like the glutton for punishment i am, my next round of poems will go out tomorrow.
World Cup update:
Croatia defeated Russia on penalty kicks (4-3) in an absolutely crazy fucking game. so now the final four is set up. France plays Belgium on Tuesday and Croatia takes on England on Wednesday.
the NJPW G1 Special in San Francisco last night was really good. the angle at the end i totally didn't expect. that should make for an interesting summer for The Bullet Club.
ROH was good last night.
Bill Maher: Live from Oklahoma was pretty fucking funny last night.
the New York Yankees won yesterday 8-5. of course, they had a couple injuries that i hope aren't serious. hopefully they will win the series this afternoon.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother, Total Bellas, Power, Sharp Objects, Succession, The Affair and the season finale of I'm Dying Up Here.
of course, i had to make the video i did a little artistic, you know me. but, it was easily the best shot i have ever got of completion.
i imagine i will be on here tomorrow after a trip to the post office. i have some poems to mail out.
i believe the shitty humid weather returns tomorrow. so, i'm hoping to actually enjoy the windows being open today. other than the runny nose from this morning, so far so good.
i hope everyone had a good Saturday. i hope your Sunday is even better.
