and of course, it is supposed to rain...

welcome to the weekend boys and girls. hopefully it won't rain here, even though the chances are pretty high for pop up storms all day long. at least the grass got cut yesterday.

i had to run to Kroger last night to get some pills for mom. thank god i don't do my grocery shopping on Fridays. that store was fucking packed beyond belief. the pharmacy on the other hand, i was able to walk right up and get her prescription with no line at all.

the Yankees beat the Cubs last night, 2-1 in 13 innings. both teams left small villages on the base last night. hopefully, the Yankees will win a little easier tonight.

here are your highlights from Game 4 of the NBA Finals last night.

the USMNT defeated Grenada last night, 5-0 in CONCACAF Nations League. Jesus Ferreira scored 4 goals last night. maybe they have FINALLY found a striker to use for the World Cup. of course, Grenada stinks, so lets see how he does in the next match at El Salvador.

Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both pretty good last night.

AEW Rampage was excellent last night.

Real Time with Bill Maher was pretty funny last night.

Pause with Sam Jay was really good last night.

nothing on the DVR tonight.

the New York Rangers play Game 6 tonight down in Tampa. i'm really hoping they find a way to force a Game 7. if not, i'll be shaving off the playoff beard tonight.

i do plan on watching the Belmont Stakes today.

i will probably watch some soccer today as well.

i will most likely be on here tomorrow before the Yankees play on Sunday.

i hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday.

until tomorrow kids...

welcome to the weekend...

so, today has been a little frustrating. my mother had to do her laundry first, which i had no problem with. but, she forgot to actually start the dryer, so that was a hour of my life i will never get back. oh well.

my sister did get the televisions switched out last night. it's fucking weird to have a tv again in my room. i know my sister will be happy as she will now be able to watch all her murder shows on the big tv when she is here.

Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.

Dark Side of the Ring was about the Dynamite Kid last night. he was one of my favorites when i was younger.

Dark Side of Football was about the Cleveland Browns last night.

The United States of Al was pretty funny last night.

Clarice was excellent last night.

the USWNT defeated Portugal last night, 1-0.

the Yankees, more like Aroldis Chapman, pissed away the lead last night and lost to the Twins, 7-5. for me to see that as the first thing i see in my room on the television in years was fucking cruel. the Yankees are off tonight and start a weekend series tomorrow in Philadelphia.

i'll probably watch some of the NBA playoffs tonight as well.

while doing my laundry today, i'm watching some tennis and the start of the Euro 2020 between Italy and Turkey. i'll probably watch most of the Euro 2020 tournament over the next month.

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

today was another hot and muggy day. i'm hoping we will get some rain to cool shit off. if not, i'll be out watering the plants when the sun goes down.

that's all for me kids. my back is killing me today.

the dog days will never end

i'm sure i'm not the only poet/artist/weird fuck who falls into a rut and just seems to spin his wheels. i'm waiting on so many things and when i start to get that fucking itch... i just have to do something. that explains the Soundcloud recording today. i wrote that years ago about a best friend who always wanted to die. i haven't heard from her in over 4 months now, so who knows...

the New York Yankees slipped back into reality yesterday, losing to Baltimore 5-0. yet another chance to sweep a series lost. they start a crucial road trip tonight against the Royals. another series against a team in front of them in the playoff race. MUST WIN games.

the Sunday night shows were excellent last night.

sadly, Big Brother kept getting interrupted with storm updates. we didn't see one damn drop of rain but plenty of lightning off in the distance. thankfully, i already knew for the most part what was going to happen on the episode.

The Night Of was spectacular last night. i never saw the true identity of the killer coming. what i truly loved about the show was how they accurately portrayed the judicial system in this country. it's not about guilt or innocence, it's only about wins and losses. and what happens when you put an innocent person in jail. the system has created more criminals than it has turned into decent citizens when outside of it. if you didn't watch any of the series, i highly recommend checking it out and giving it a nice long binge watch. it's totally fucking worth it.

Power was excellent. Ballers was pretty damn funny and had an ending i didn't see coming. Vice Principals made me laugh, mostly because the writer always get to write in the part where he gets to kiss the girl. Ray Donovan was very interesting last night. the season (or more likely series) finale of Roadies was really good last night. i loved the ending. a little slice of reality... you don't always get the girl in the end. The Strain was fucking awesome last night. i love that the show is back.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will part 3 of the UFC documentary on CM Punk. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

mom's blood sugar really dropped yesterday. kind of freaked me out a bit. i don't like the fact that she's not taking the drugs they gave her for her back pain. makes no damn sense to me. i have to take her back to the chiropractor tomorrow afternoon.

rest in peace and a huge than you to Gene Wilder for all the damn laughs over the years. you will be missed.

i hope everyone had a great Sunday. hard to believe this damn month is almost over.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.
