the New York Yankees slipped back into reality yesterday, losing to Baltimore 5-0. yet another chance to sweep a series lost. they start a crucial road trip tonight against the Royals. another series against a team in front of them in the playoff race. MUST WIN games.
the Sunday night shows were excellent last night.
sadly, Big Brother kept getting interrupted with storm updates. we didn't see one damn drop of rain but plenty of lightning off in the distance. thankfully, i already knew for the most part what was going to happen on the episode.
The Night Of was spectacular last night. i never saw the true identity of the killer coming. what i truly loved about the show was how they accurately portrayed the judicial system in this country. it's not about guilt or innocence, it's only about wins and losses. and what happens when you put an innocent person in jail. the system has created more criminals than it has turned into decent citizens when outside of it. if you didn't watch any of the series, i highly recommend checking it out and giving it a nice long binge watch. it's totally fucking worth it.
Power was excellent. Ballers was pretty damn funny and had an ending i didn't see coming. Vice Principals made me laugh, mostly because the writer always get to write in the part where he gets to kiss the girl. Ray Donovan was very interesting last night. the season (or more likely series) finale of Roadies was really good last night. i loved the ending. a little slice of reality... you don't always get the girl in the end. The Strain was fucking awesome last night. i love that the show is back.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will part 3 of the UFC documentary on CM Punk. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.
mom's blood sugar really dropped yesterday. kind of freaked me out a bit. i don't like the fact that she's not taking the drugs they gave her for her back pain. makes no damn sense to me. i have to take her back to the chiropractor tomorrow afternoon.
rest in peace and a huge than you to Gene Wilder for all the damn laughs over the years. you will be missed.
i hope everyone had a great Sunday. hard to believe this damn month is almost over.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.
peace and chicken grease...
