so, i went 14-2 yesterday on the college basketball games. hopefully, i can repeat that today.
there's where the good news ends. the USMNT lost to Panama last night, 1-0. Panama's only shot on goal went in basically at the death of the game. fuck me. simply not good enough and honestly, the team has a ways to go to even sniff success in the World Cup, eventually.
the New York Rangers lost last night at home to Toronto, 4-3.
i slept like shit last night. could never get the pinched nerve to calm down, so basically i slept in 45 minute shifts. joy.
i have to take mom to get some death certificates today. i love taking care of some legal shit that could have been dealt with nearly a decade ago.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown and Real Time with Bill Maher.
by this time tomorrow, the Dayton Flyers will be getting ready to play in the NIT.
so, the goal will be to get the blog done before that game tomorrow.
i think the weather is supposed to be shitty this weekend, so that will be good for watching college basketball.
i'm going to try to take a nap before i have to start driving. thankfully, it won't be a far drive.
i hope everyone has a great weekend.
best of luck with your brackets and your gambling today.
until tomorrow kids...

so my trip to the doctor today went as bad as it really fucking could. my A1C is through the roof. they believe i have high blood pressure now. thankfully, it went down the second time they took it. the Trulicity that i haven't taken since January is still on back order at Rite Aid. so, i have to spend all of tomorrow calling the pharmacies around here to see if anyone has it. my stress level is about as high as it ever fucking has been. add in that my first two picks in the NCAA lost today and oh boy, this is going to be a fucking night from hell.
so yeah, the blog may be a little rushed today. i'm going to try to get this done before the Dayton Flyers play Nevada.
AEW Dynamite and AEW Rampage were both really good last night.
Abbott Elementary was hilarious last night.
The Masked Singer was crazy as usual.
here are your highlights from the NBA last night:
both games from the First Four last night were good.
enjoy some music:

the New York Rangers play tonight at Boston.
the USMNT takes on Jamaica tonight in the Concacaf Nations League.
i have no damn clue when i will be on here tomorrow.
i'm sure this Dayton Flyers game will do wonders for my stress...

so, yeah... my left shoulder is killing me, i think it might be a pinched nerve. my left elbow is killing me, i have no fucking clue what that is. my right knee is killing me, i believe that is all arthritis. and given all that pain and a bad back, today was one of those days spent in the massage chair hoping the ice freezes my spinal cord so the central nervous system no longer works. somedays i get really lucky and the ice does the trick. and then there are the days where nothing fucking works, even alcohol, and depression enters the room and sets up shop. now, don't worry, i'm not suicidal. i doubt that creeps in my mind anytime before my mother leaves this earth. i don't think i want her to be the one to find me whenever that (if ever) happens. what concerns me is my lack of wanting to be creative anymore when the darkness comes. it seems like all the water has been squeezed from the rock now. and tends to let me try to think about an unknown future. and as much as that should excite my imagination, the depression doesn't allow such nonsense. so yeah, welcome to Tuesday...
The Voice was good last night. i believe tonight is the end of the blinds.
Perry Mason was very good last night.
Monday Night Raw was good last night. hard to believe WrestleMania is just over a week away.
the New York Knicks lost last night at home to Minnesota, 140-134.
here are your NBA highlights from last night:
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be NXT, two episodes of MLW, The Voice and That's My Jam.
the New York Rangers have a huge game tonight at home against Carolina.
i just saw the news that Mustapha Amzil is transferring from Dayton. he will always be remembered for that shot against Kansas. hopefully, he lands in a good place and has plenty of success.
i need to get dinner going and get all the trash picked up tonight.
i should be on here tomorrow after i get the grocery shopping done.
until then kids...
fight the power.

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
today was sunny, damn near 70 degrees, a light breeze, fuck... damn near perfect. and of course, it happens on a fucking Monday.
so mom got x-rays today. her hip is fine, some arthritis in the knee, but all of her pain is coming from her back. so, since she knows that now, she knows it is a matter of pain management. i'm hoping one of these doctors give her some better pain meds, or i'm going to have to give her some liquor to take her pills with. good times.
the New York Rangers got badly outshot yesterday at Carolina. it didn't fucking matter, as their backup goalie stopped everything. the Rangers won, 2-0. to beat Tampa Bay and Carolina on the road right before the trade deadline was brilliant. today the Rangers made 4 trades that i think will definitely make the club deeper and better.
Dayton lost to Vanderbilt yesterday in OT, 70-68. part of me was mad but i'm taking a big picture look at this. this loss should be the fuel to drive them next season. hopefully, all of them come back and they all get better. if that happens, Dayton will be scary as fuck next season.
i did watch plenty of college basketball games yesterday.
Billions was very good last night.
Super Pumped: The Battle for UBER was good last night.
Power Book IV: Force was excellent last night.
Shining Vale was hilarious last night.
Game Theory with Bomani Jones was great last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be American Song Contest, Monday Night Raw and Better Things.
i did listen to episode 387 of Notsam Wrestling this morning. you can hear that by going here:
i think we got well over 2 inches of rain yesterday. who knew the first day of spring would have me in complete fucking misery. at least the sun actually came out today for a few hours.
i did my running around today without any problems. today has run pretty smoothly, which has me wondering what the fuck is going to fuck up tonight?
in honor of World Poetry Day...
The Voice was pretty good last night. i wasn't shocked by any of the winners or who was stolen.
Monday Night Raw was pretty damn good last night. i think they are doing a way better job this year building to WrestleMania than they have done in years.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Voice and Smackdown. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.
the New York Rangers play tonight at New Jersey. hopefully the best team on the road in the league gets another victory tonight.
when i sat down to watch the Manchester derby yesterday, i feared the worst. thankfully, it turns out i had nothing to worry about. boy wonder Marcus Rashford to the rescue once again.
now United is just 1 point behind Shitty and West Ham for a place in the Champions League. just when i think they are shit, they pull me back again.
what was really funny was seeing a prick in the grocery store with a Shitty jersey on. i laughed my ass off right in front of his face. such a beautiful day.
the only thing that was nearly as good as that win was how Xavier lost to Wisconsin later that night. that helped me get all 16 games correct for the second round. thank god for round by round brackets. i only had 11 out of 16 in my main one i did before the tournament.
the grocery store was ok. way too many people for my liking, especially children. sadly, no poems.
the Sunday night shows were excellent last night. Vinyl got a little more racy, which is fine by me. Girls was pretty damn funny. Togetherness had one of the great baby shit scenes i can remember. Shameless was brilliant as always. Billions keeps getting better and better. and finally, Last Week Tonight continues to be one of the best damn things around.
enjoy some music kids:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Gotham and The Voice.
i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening. it's in Philadelphia, so it should be a crazy night of wrestling.
the New York Rangers are back at home tonight against Florida. hopefully they win, but most teams struggle on that first game back from a west coast road trip. they really need the points.
i went to the bank today to deposit another check. it figures, anytime i'm there and there is a line, there's only one person working, today, fully staffed and no line.
i have to drive mom to a doctor's appointment tomorrow, so i'm not sure when i'll be on here. she's trying to figure out why she's had a headache for years now and why is none of this shit she's going through considered a disability. so, tomorrow should be a fun one.
i hope everyone had a great weekend.
as always, take it easy. and then take it again.

i made the mistake last night of eating Taco Bell. i rarely do this and i am not exactly sure why i fucking ate it last night. needless to say, after 4 trips to the shitter this morning and both of my legs swelling up because of all the salt, i won't be making that mistake again. EVER.
so, i didn't go out today as i was thinking i was going to. instead, spent the day here feeling like shit while watching the games.
was doing really good on my brackets, even called the Duke upset right, until UMass and New Mexico fucked me royally. so much for that chance to actually win some money. oh well.
the New York Rangers play in Columbus tonight in yet another MUST win. basically, all of the games for the rest of the season are playoff games.
best of luck to my high school alma mater on their game tonight in the final 4 of the state basketball finals.
found out today that Manchester United plays Bayern Munich in the next round of the Champions League. it will probably take more than miracles to get past that team. United plays Saturday afternoon against West Ham. no RVP for this game as he has a knee injury that is going to keep him out for 6 weeks. i swear, for every small step this team takes forward they end up falling 5 or 6 behind.
i'll be on here tomorrow probably after that game. and well before the Dayton Flyers take on Syracuse Saturday night. i have a good feeling about the game, not that that means anything.
hope everyone has a great weekend. i would make this longer but i'm trying to keep my legs elevated as best as i can. and since i have no laptop and suck at typing upside down, i feel like these blog posts will be getting shorter for the time being.
until tomorrow my enemies...
